*Juliet's pov*
I looked at the scene playing in front of me.
I was at a party, which basically consisted of loud music, dancing, drinking, and people making out.
I was completely invisible.
I was completely alone.
I scanned the room, there were no familiar faces.
In fact, I didn't recognize anyone at all.
Everyone's faces were blurry, besides one.
In a dark corner, I turned around.
I tried to scream, to make a sound, anything. But no one can hear me.
I saw Hayes, making out with another girl.
"Juliet! Wake up!" Someone was shaking me.
My eyes shot open, which was a big mistake because I was blinded by the light.
"What happened?" I asked, shielding the light with my arm.
"You were screaming 'stop it' and 'don't do that,' it was freaking me out." The person that woke me up said. I think it was Matt.
They just got back from their flight yesterday.
"Sorry." I said, stretching my arms.
I was in my room, it was so bright outside because it was snowing.
"It's snowing again?" I asked.
"Yeah, that's why we're here instead of school." Matt exclaimed.
"Then what are we going to do?" I asked.
"We could go to Brooklyn and get some breakfast. I know an amazing place." Matt suggested.
"That'd be cool. Where are we going?" I asked.
"It's a special surprise." Matt laughed.
I nodded and he left me in my room to change.
I put on a white lace long sleeve shirt, a tan cardigan, black leggings, and tan boots.
I put my hair in a top not, grabbed my phone, camera, and coat, then we left.
We went to the subway, which took a while, then we got out and walked to the place.
The place is called Turning Point, and it had really good pancakes, french toast, and hot chocolates.
I ordered pancakes with chocolate drizzle and strawberries.
Matt ordered an omelette.
I've never been here before, but after trying the food I never want to leave.
I was sipping the last of the hot chocolate when Matt threw a strawberry at me.
"Matt!" I squealed, throwing a piece of tomato from his omelette at him.
"We are not going to have a food fight in public, okay?" I said, he agreed.
"We'll having in the kitchen tomorrow at sun down." I joked.
"It's a challenge." He scowled and I laughed.
The check came and I grabbed it before he did.
"No, I'm paying!" Matt said as he motioned his hand for me to hand him the check.
"No, Matt." I said.
"Juliet, I'm paying!"
"Matt, no."
"Rock, paper, scissors?"
"I'm going to win." I said.
"No you're not!" He exclaimed as we got into an intense game of rock, paper, scissors.
He won, but I ended up paying for a little bit of it, which made me a little bit happier.
We walked back to my apartment from the subway and we both sat on the couch.
Elf was on, which was my favorite holiday movie ever.
Which made me realize that Christmas was already in two days.
Hayes and Nash barged into the apartment.
"Hello my beautiful girlfriend!" Hayes exclaimed as he picked me up, spun me around, and hugged me.
"Hayes!" I giggled as he kept twirling me.
After all that, he put me down, and pressed his forehead on mine.
"We should do something tonight." I smiled.
"I have something in mind." He grinned as he brushed his lips against mine, it wasn't really a kiss.
I pressed my lips on his, hard. He kissed me like it was his only desire.
It was passionate, something like from a movie or a show. It was also desperate, and hungry.
"I missed you. I missed all this." He motioned to everything around us.
"I missed you too." I said.
"How about that date?" He asked as he grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine. I nodded and we walked out the door and into the subway.
"Where are we going?" I said.
"You'll see." He smirked as we sat in the subway.
"Ugh, not one of those surprise dates again." I rolled my eyes.
"It's not as bad as it seems. Do you really hate surprises?" He asked.
"I don't mind them. I should probably get used to them because you do them all the time." I laughed.
The train stopped.
He got up and held his hand out.
"This is our stop." He said as I grabbed my hand and we walked out of the subway and into the streets.
We stopped by a packed Italian resturant, called Dos Posto.
We pushed by a line of people.
*Hayes's pov*
"Hi, I have a reservation for Grier." I said.
"You sound so professional." She joked. I laughed, and kissed her cheek.
"Right this way." The hostess said.
The line of people behind us groaned and complained. Juliet started laughing and the hostess led us to our table.
I sat down as Juliet scanned her eyes around the place.
"Hayes, this place is so fancy." She smiled.
There was dim lighting, booths and tables, a jazz band, it was beautiful.
Just like her.
But I won't say that, because she hates cheesy pick-up lines.
"Hayes this is amazing." She said.
"Only the best for you." I smiled.
The waitress came and asked for drinks.
"Raspberry iced tea, please." She smiled.
"Coke." I said simply.
The waitress left and we continued to have a conversation.
"Hayes?"
"Yeah?"
"What do you do when you leave? Like do you visit family or do you always leave your girlfriends behind?" She asked. I was completely shocked.
Where would this even come from?
"What is that suppose to mean?"
"I'm tired of you leaving me behind, Hayes." She said.
Is she going crazy?
"Juliet, if you think I forget about you when I leave, you're dead wrong." I said.
"Then why won't you tell me what you do when you're away? Why can't I come with you? Has it always been like this?"
"Juliet I'm not doing anything bad if that's what you're implying."
"Dammit Hayes." She mumbled.
"What? Why are you acting like this?"
"Hayes are you cheating on me?" She asked.
"You have got to be kidding-"
"Are you?"
"No, okay! I'm not. Why would I? Juliet I could never cheat on you." I sighed, looking down at my plate.
I can't believe she'd think that.
"Hayes. Look, I'm sorry, but if there's anything you're hiding from me, you have to tell me." She said.
I can't do this.
I can't keep lying to her.
"I...shit, Juliet...I'm not hiding anything." I said.
Behind my back, I crossed my fingers.

A/N: so does anybody else feel that way about a restaurant where the food is so good you just don't want to leave? Because same. Btw all the restaurants I mentioned in this chapter are real! I've actually been to turning point and they do have amazing food. Do you guys think Hayes will crack anytime soon? Anyways, I hope you guys have a good day tomorrow and I love you and thank you so so much for everything you guys do.
