Storming into the building I made it into the elevator, not bothering to greet Julia or pick up my mail and messages. I got out of the elevator making a bee- line for my office
I was furious
My husband Brandon, owned a multi million fashion line and I was head of the LA department. He has been in New York working in the branch there and I've missed him dearly but lately we've been drifting apart and it's been worrying me but something on the news confirmed my worries and today I was in a sour mood ready to fly to New York and give him a piece of my mind
"Y/N! Hey girl, did you see-
"I saw it all Lee" I said walking
"And are you pissed?" She asked handing me a Starbucks
"Pissed? Understatement of the century" I said sipping it
"Then you probably shouldn't go to the boardroom" she said
"Why-
Before I could finish my statement, I stopped dead I. My tracks my stomach dropping in my shoes. There stood Brandon in the glass roomed boardroom, he was finishing off a presentation of debriefing because he shook a couple of hands before the people flooded out of the room. Aleesha put her hand on my back and I shrugged it off shoving the cup in her chest before making my way to Brandon.
I slammed the door shut, silently praying it wouldn't shatter before slamming my hands on the wooden desk. Brandon looked up from his papers before looking back down, not even giving me time.
The nerve
"So are you gonna explain yourself or are you gonna keep packing your papers?" I asked
"Mrs Arreaga, you were late for the Versace collaboration debriefing" he said
"I don't care" I stated
"Well then" he said taking his case and walking out
I followed him, hot on his trail before we made our way to his office. I closed the door happy that it was a soundproof office because now I could yell as much as I want without explaining myself
"Yes Y/N" Brandon asked
"Do you know how it feels like to walk into your place of work knowing you're a fucking joke because your husband of 12 years is all over the fucken news having dinner with some Blonde girl? Huh? No because I wouldn't do that shit to you Brandon!" You yelled
"Can I explain myself?" He asked
"No actually because I don't have time to hear the bullshit coming from your mouth" you snapped
Brandon knew speaking to you when you were this heated was practically pointless because it was like speaking to a brick wall.
"Okay, come to the penthouse tonight at 8pm" he said before packing up and leaving.
You stood in the cold office, pissed as hell before throwing everything off the desktop to the floor, fixing yourself and walking out to your next meeting
