Gianna stirred in the hospital bed, her eyes fluttering open as he noticed Cody wide awake on the recliner next to her as he watched her with a tired and soft smile on his face. His dopey eyes struggling to stay open as Gianna motioned for him to lay next to her in the bed, "Come here." She uttered as Cody slowly trudged over, his much stronger body coming next to her, "Go to sleep." She instructed making him shake his head a soft smile on his lips as Gianna engulfed him a hug, his face shoving itself in the croak of her neck.
"I can't." He muttered, his eyes fluttering close for a moment before he opened them once more, "I have to make sure you're fine, I have to make sure Sampson's fine." He continued as Gianna continuously rubbed his back, a soft smile appearing on her lips.
"We're both fine." She mused as Cody's hand reached to cup her growing belly.
