*Juliet's pov*
I woke up on the ground. I sat up, unfamiliar with my surroundings.
When all the memories came back like a typhoon.
I can't believe I was kidnapped.
Did I mention I had no pants on?
Yeah, I was only in my underwear and was wearing a big red shirt that came down to my knees.
Let's be real here, I might die of hypothermia tomorrow.
I got up from the ground and looked everywhere.
There was a bagel and orange juice on the old, wooden desk.
The bagel was stale but it's all I have.
I ate it and drank my orange juice quickly.
I had to get out of here.
But I don't know how I could-
"Hey." Someone came in the room I was in, and interrupted my thoughts.
"Hi." I said, noticing it was Teo.
"Can we talk?" He said as he shut the door behind him.
"Yeah." I mumbled as we both sat on the ground.
"I'm so sorry." He said, his eyes were red.
"Oh my god, were you crying the whole night?" I asked.
"Yeah, I can't believe my dad does these things." He said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"He's a criminal. Usually running from place to place. He does things like this to make me happy but in reality he's making me hate him even more." He said.
"What does he do?" I asked.
"You're his biggest crime. He usually steal things like golden necklaces and shoes." He said.
"Aren't you living the life?" I said sarcastically.
"Yeah." He rolled his eyes.
I was shivering.
"Are you cold?" He asked and I nodded.
He handed me the jacket he was wearing and I wrapped it around myself.
"T-Thanks." I said.
"It's no big deal. I'll be back. But don't make my dad angry. He'll do something that I have to be apart of and I just can't do it." He said as he got up and walked to the door.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
He just smiled shyly and left.
*Hayes's pov*
I opened my eyes after a terrible nightmare.
It was about Juliet being kidnapped.
I looked around, and it turns out that my nightmares are coming true.
I wasn't there to protect her.
I rolled out of my sleeping bag, and I sat on Matt's bed, and turned on the TV.
It was the news.
"Yesterday, fourteen year old Juliet Collins was taken from the Jefferson Hospital at-"
I heard enough.
I changed the channel, it was another news channel.
"In other news a fourteen year old girl was kidnapped from her own mother's work on-"
That's it.
I turned off the tv and stared at Matt.
He's been asleep for two days.
"Matt..." I whispered.
His eyes were twitching.
"Matt?" I asked.
His eyes shot open.
"Ugh." He groaned as he rubbed his eyes and stared at me.
"Hey bro. You're awake." I said.
"How long was I out?" He asked.
"Five years." I joked.
"FIVE YEARS?" He freaked.
"No, I'm only kidding. You were asleep for only two days." I couldn't hold my laughter.
After a while, Matt joined me.
"You...should've...seen....your face!" I laughed.
"Shut up." He pushed me off the bed.
"Hey bro, do you want anything to eat?"
"Yeah, I'm starving." Matt said.
"I'll get you something." I walked out of his room.
I wonder if he was thinking about Juliet.
She is a big part of his life.
I walked into the elevator and it stopped on the cafeteria floor.
I walked into the cafeteria and got Matt a bagel, orange slices, yogurt, and a glass of water.
I put it on a tray, paid for it, and walked back to Matt's room.
I gave him the food and he beamed.
He looked around the room and his smile quickly faded.
"Where's Juliet?"
*Juliet's pov*
I needed to get out of here.
I was trapped in here like a crazy person.
Then Teo's dad walked in.
"Let me out." I said.
He shut the door behind him.
"But Juliet, you're worth a lot of money." Teo's dad evilly grinned.
"W-What?" I stuttered.
"See, I was hired by someone to kidnap you and torture you. The reward was five hundred thousand dollars." He said, putting emphasis on the thousand.
"W-Why do I have to stay here..?" I asked.
"Because I didn't torture you yet." He smiled as he left. He shut the door behind him.
I walked up and banged on the door with my fists.
"Let me out!" I screamed.
After multiple attempts of doing this, I fell on my knees in defeat, and cried.
"Why is this happening to me?" I whispered in my broken voice.
I got up and looked outside the window.
I could see the hospital, and if I wasn't hallucinating, I could see Matt's room. I wonder if they could see me.
The bedroom door opened, and I backed away from the window.
"I'm sorry I-"
It was Teo.
"You're okay." He smiled.
I sat on the ground.
He sat down in front of me, and he held something behind his back.
"What's behind your back?" I asked.
He held up a brush.
"Thank you." I grabbed it as I started to brush my hair.
He laughed and helped me brush my hair. After that was done my hair was the same as it was before.
"What does your dad want with me?" I asked.
"I don't know." He sighed.
"Do you love me?" I asked.
"W-What..?" He asked.
"Your dad said you were in love with me. Are you?" I asked.
"Juliet, you're just so beautiful. You have a boyfriend-"
"We broke up." I said.
"Oh yeah, I remember. But sadly, you're someone I can't have." He said.
"You're not denying it." I said.
"Juliet if I admit that I love you, bad things are going to happen." He said.
"What do you even mean? You're always telling me bad things are going to happen, and you seem to know what is going on. So, please tell me or I'm going to jump out of that window and I will never talk to you ever again." I said.
"Either way, I'm never going to see you again. You're going to hate me, and I will never love again." He said.
"What are you even talking about?! Teo you have to tell me!" I yelled.
He got up, and walked towards the door.
"I can't tell you." He shook his head then left.
"Teo." I said before he closed the door.
He closed it on my face.
"Teo!" I yelled.
I was punching the door.
I kept yelling his name and punching the door.
I stopped when I noticed the scratched on the door, and the holes.
I stepped back and looked around the entire room.
I wasn't the first one in here.
