"Shall we go?" Chris made his way towards me. "Hello?" He waved his hands in front of my eyes.
"Yeah... let's go." I Came back to reality.
I got into the car. Chris drove me home. The whole way home my thoughts were occupied by Ashton and that kiss. Why did he kiss?
The car stopped. And I can back to reality.
I looked outside and saw I reached home.
He got out and opened my door.
"A gentleman," I said.
"For the ladies always " He smiled. I went towards my door.
"I don't get an invite in?" He asked me. I turned around to face him.
"When you have won over me, I will" I bit my lips and gave a sexy smirk. teasing him enough to ignite the spark.
He caught my hand. "A kiss goodnight?" He cornered & pushed me against the door, sticking his body onto mine. I could feel his animal come alive.
I moved more close to him. Our face was an inch apart. "Why not" I sealed my lips to his.
He pulled my body to him and I ran my fingers through his hair. He was a good kisser. But Ashton's kiss was more possessive and lustful.
He separated from me. Wait, why did I think of him?
"Wow, if that was your kiss then I would love to go to see the rest" he winked at me.
"Maybe... by time, if your lucky." I teased him.
I bid him goodnight and went in.
I kept the purse on the table, & went to my room to change. I undressed and while removing the necklace I looked at the mirror.
I touched my lips.
His kiss... I could still feel the sensation on my lips. Why do I think of him? I kissed Chris too. He was also a damn good kisser. Then why him?
Because he wants you to think of him. He is trapping you in his layer. Remember what he is like and don't fall for his spell. This is all part of his game. Don't be fooled. My consciousness spoke.
Yes, he is a devil and I can't let him win.
I took the wet wipe and wiped my lips.
"I know his game and I will not fall for it. He will get what's coming for him..." my eyes grew colder and dark. I said to myself.
I crumpled the wet tissue in my hand and threw it in the dustbin.
"You made your move, now my turn."
I sat on the bed and took my phone in my hand.
I typed a text & hit sent. I smiled, throwing the phone on the bed.
"The queen moves..."

The next day I got ready as usual and went down to leave home. I opened my door and suddenly the brand new BMW i8 was standing on my driveway.
I looked confused.
I didn't buy it, nor I won a lottery.
I went near it. A card was stuck to the windshield of the car with a rose 🌹
"Dinner tonight? Not sorry for the kiss though - A"
I didn't have to guess I knew who it was.
"Ashton," I said under my breath.
I called out one of my guards. "Return this to the sender," I said and walked past it, throwing the card on the floor.
Does he think he can get me with this? He has to try harder than that. He can't own me with this. I am not material or toy for him to buy.
I didn't think of it much and went to work.
I came later in the evening and I saw many flowers of bouquets in front of my door. There was soo many that I couldn't make my way towards the door.
"Seriously?" He is not normal.
I somehow reached my door handle. I saw there was a note hanging. I looked at it.
"Will this change your mind?- A" bellow it there a phone number written... "give me a call 555-XXXX" with XOXO symbol.
" Aaagghh, Ashton!" I said in frustration. Yeah, I wanted his attention to bringing him down but this is now crazy!!
I went in the closed the door behind me in anger.
I was already tired after shooting an action scene, so I went start to bed.
I lied back to bed and fell asleep.
Morning came so fast that I couldn't help but still feel tired.
Today shoot of half day. And I got ready early. I opened my door scared of thinking, what unknown things now Ashton might have planed.
I went out, and there was nothing. I gave a sigh relief.
The rest of my day went well and I came back. While entering my driveway, I cautiously check for any surprises. It was empty I was relieved.
At last, he gave up, I thought to myself.
I went to unlock the door, but it was already opened.
My heart began to speed up. A theft?
But my security is tight and alarms are on.
I slowly pushed the door open. And what I saw was beyond compare.
The hall was light up and the ground was covered with rose petals 🥀 the ceiling had a large chandelier and in front of me was a table. Not my own. And with a gift, a card was kept on it.
"I won't stop unless I get a date...-A"
The BMW I8 car keys were kept in a box with an expensive bracelet.
I kept the gifts on the table and made my way towards my bedroom. Doesn't he get tired? I thought.
I opened my bedroom door," Agh! Ashton where I will sleep?" I said irritated.
My bed was filled with flowers ( exotic once's )🌹 and a note kept on my bed.
"What will it take for you to call me? Perhaps, another kiss?- A" his number was written below.
This guy!!
I didn't have the patience left to deal with this anymore.
I took the car keys and drove to his office furiously.
I didn't care at all and walked into his office. I didn't care what the secretary said and walked in.
"Ashton HardLin this has to stop! You're driving me crazy." I said to him angrily.
He was pleased to see me and smiled. "Miss. Sylvia to what do I owe this pleasant visit?"
That made me angrier. The secretary came behind me following but Ashton sent her away.
"Stop sending these this! It's getting on my nerves."
"What things?" He played innocent.
"Seriously Ashton, I need you to stop," I said calming myself.
He leaned back on his chair," I told you what it would take for me to stop."
I crossed my arms," you won't stop unless I agree to go out with you... your serious."
"Very.." he said.
I signed.
"Okay...you got only one date!"
He gave a mischievous and winning smile. Which made me think, did I win getting him hooked on me or did I stepped in his plan?
