Juliet's POV
I went to my house, since it was only five.
I opened my door, and the house was a mess. I decided to clean it, being the neat freak I can be. By six, it was all clean.
Right now, my mom was at the hospital, probably taking care of some patients.
I decided since I was going to Hayes's house soon, I should probably take my hair out of this messy bun.
I straightened my hair, and put mascara on.
I had nothing else to do. I went on Instagram and went through my feed.
Finally, it was 8 o'clock, the stars were out, and I was on my way to Hayes's house.
I was crossing the street when I bumped into someone.
"Oops, sorry." I said.
"Juliet, it's me." Matt smiled.
"Oh hey Matt!" I said.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"Lesley's house." He said.
"How long have you smoke?" I asked.
"A whole month. I don't even think about it anymore. Where are you going?" He asked.
"Hayes's house." I said.
"Seems important." Matt shrugged.
We walked the same way for a while until we reached an intersection.
"Listen, I have to go. Good luck with Hayes." Matt hugged me.
"Good luck with everything." I hugged him back.
I walked a few blocks to Hayes's house and knocked on his door.
"I'm getting it Hayes, I don't care what you say!" I heard Nash run to the door and open it.
"Hello Julie!" Nash bowed.
"Alright, stop it." I laughed as I curtsied.
He let me in the house.
"Hayes is in his room. It's upstairs, down the hall, second to last door on your left." Nash said.
"Thanks Nash. Oh yeah, are you finished that photography project yet?" I asked.
"No way! I totally forgot!" Nash freaked and ran to his room.
"What are you doing?" I yelled.
"Getting my camera then going out!" He yelled back.
I walked upstairs and knocked on Hayes's door.
"Hayes?" I whispered.
"Come in." He said softly.
I opened the door.
He was lying down on the ground watching tv.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Come lie down with me." He said.
I shut the door behind me, and sat down in front of him.
He grabbed my hands.
"I was kind of hurt when I saw you and Aaron together." He said.
"Why do you care?" I asked.
"Juliet I like you! Why can't you see that!" Hayes shouted.
"Because I am dating Aaron! Okay? I can't date you." I said.
"Then let me change your mind."
Hayes got up and leaned in.
"Just tell me if you want to stop..." Hayes said as he crashed his lips on to mine.
This is wrong, right?
Then why wasn't I telling him to stop?
My mouth opened and his tongue entered.
Hayes was straddling me.
He was giving me butterflies in my stomach.
"Hayes.."
His mouth was in sync with mine.
"Maybe..."
His mouth moved to my neck.
"We should..."
His hands was fiddling with the hem of my shirt.
"St-"
His mouth was on mine. He took off my shirt.
"Juliet... You're...beautiful." Hayes said in between breaths.
"Hayes, I don't know about this." I said.
His hands were wondering around my body. I took off his shirt.
"You'll be fine.."
"Hayes we're only thirteen." I assured him.
His lips moved to my neck and upper chest.
"Juliet our whole school's done it before." He assured me.
"Yeah everyone except me." I said.
He stopped kissing me.
"If you want to stop I'm okay with that." He said.
He got off of me and sat with his legs crossed. I sat across from him.
"Hayes I really like you, okay?" I said, which made him blush.
"But, you're dating Aaron." He said.
"I can't just choose between you two!" I said.
"I think you have to." He said.
"I can't. Okay? I can't just choose between you two." I grabbed my shirt, put it on, and left his room.
"Juliet!" He tried to stop me. He grabbed my waist but I used all my strength to make him let go.
I ran until my legs were numb.
I had no idea where I was going.
I ended up in front of The Coffee Corner.
I guess I needed to sit here and relax.
I ordered my coffee and sat at a single table with a view of the outside.
How was I going to choose?
*Matt's pov*
I showed up at Lesley's door.
I had no idea how I was going to apologize, even though I've rehearsed this a billion times in my head.
How am I going to win her back?
Finally, I knocked on the door.
Lesley opened it.
"Oh, hey." She smiled.
"Can I talk to you?" I asked.
"S-sure." She said as she let me inside.
We both sat on her couch.
"Look, I've been meaning to tell you. You know how you told me that you won't go out with me again if I didn't quit smoking?" I asked her.
She nodded. I can tell she was nervous. I grabbed her hands.
"Lesley, I haven't smoked for a month. And I have no intention to. I want you. You're my addiction. You are my cigaret. I miss you." I said.
Tears were brimming in my eyes.
I've never felt this way about anyone before. Ever.
"Matt, I've missed you too. And I'm really glad you quit. But-"
"But what?" I questioned.
"But I don't know if you're going to do it again." She sighed.
"I'm not I swear!" I said.
"Matt, you've been addicted for a year, it's hard for an addict to withdraw." Lesley said.
"Les, I'd do anything for you." I promised.
"Okay. Matt, I want to go out again too." She smiled.
"Are you saying that we can go out again?" I asked in shock.
"Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And even better, I'll help you withdraw." She said.
"Are you sure?"
She nodded.
"I couldn't be more thankful to have someone like you." I smiled.
She kissed my cheek.
"I'm glad to help you."

Another thing too, I was thirteen when I wrote this, and i know some of you are older than me, but this happens daily at my school- no lie. People in my grade already make out/suck dick/had sex already. (I am not one of those people. Society's messed up, guys. I just write about it.)
