I'm going to start writing Bucky imagines here too 😛
Request: y/n and Bucky are both avengers (they are married as well) (y/n) is a skilled assassin (like natasha) and Bucky is the winter soldier. Y/N dies out in the field, and her body so taken by hydra. (She is tortured and treated the same as they did to Bucky). 2 years later she is sent out to take down the avengers. Bucky sees her, and they fight. Just before she is about to kill him, all of their memories start to flood back. Bucky almost dies, but does recover.

"We both May not make it out of this, Buck," you tell your husband.
He looks into your eyes, and you can see the fear. "I don't want to lose you..."
"You have to promise me that if something happens, you will keep fighting. Don't come for me. Keep fighting."
He just looks at you. Not speaking a word.
"James.. promise me."
"I promise."

The bullet hits you right in the stomach. You groan out in pain. Bucky notices, but remembers his promise.
Right before you black out, you see two figures stand over you, and begin to reach for your body.
When you wake up, you can't move. You are tied down to a chair, an IV pushing a liquid into your veins.
"Oh, (y/n) Barnes, nice to finally meet you. I couldn't wait to meet the lucky girl who married our Winter Soldier. Hate I missed the wedding." A man says from across the room.
"Bite me."
"Ooh, and she's a feisty one too!" He walks closer to you. It's a man you recognize. But you can't remember his name. "You are going to be just like him."
"He's changed," you spit out. "He will never be the same..."
"Neither will you, my dear. Hook her up, wipe her."
After months and months of training and brainwashing, it was time to send their new Winter Soldier out into the field.

Bucky, on the other hand, was still a wreck. It had been 2 years since they killed his wife. Two years since he saw them drag your body away.
He hated that he made that promise. He hated himself for just letting you die.
"Buck, it's time." Steve comes in his room. "This is an important mission."
Bucky, Steve, Natasha, and Clint are the Avengers chosen for this mission. They are making a gameplay in the quinjet for how to attack.
"Now, James, you can't just go around shooting everyone because of who we are fighting. But if they say anything about that day, shoot them right between the eyes," Natasha tells him.
The fours Avengers step out, seeing their competition. They walk into the abandoned warehouse, nervous for what was to come.
A shot rings past Bucky's ear as soon as the door closes. He holds up his gun, ready to take fire. But then he sees who the shot came from.
"(Y/n)?" It barely comes out a whisper.
"Oh my god." Natasha says.
More shots ring out. Other members run at the them, and Bucky immediately shoots them. He just wants to get to his wife.
"Bucky, don't..." Steve warns.
But Bucky doesn't listen. He keeps going to his girl.
Her eyes soften when you see him. But you're still confused. You don't recognize him.
"(Y/n)... It's me, Bucky.. please, you have to remember.. you have to..."
You reach for him, but then stab a knife into his side. He falls to the ground, and you kneel down next to him, ready to twist the knife further into his body.
Bucky looks up at her. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry that I just let you die. I let this happen to you..."
You blink a couple times. "Bucky?"
He smiles, right before passing out.
"Get away from him!" Steve runs up to them.
"Steve? Nat?" You ask. You look down. "Oh my god, we have to help him.."

At the hospital, you sit next to the bed, watching Bucky sleep. He lost a lot of blood, but he's gonna make it.
"(Y/n)..." he says.
"Yeah, Buck, I'm here.."
"I'm sorry."
"No, I'm sorry.. I almost killed you.. but let's not talk about that right now, okay? I love you."
I hope is what the requested wanted. This was sort of a struggle to write.. (this was requested a while ago, and I posted it on my marvel imagines. But that fic isn't doing very well so I'm going to post this one here )
