You spent the rest of the morning trying to avoid Dick. Yes, trying, 'cause he won't leave you alone.
"(Y/N)!"
"(Y/N), WAIT!!"
"STOP!!"
"(Y/N), PLEASE!!"
"I CAN EXPLAIN, (Y/N)!!"
You grumbled, your mood growing even more sour as you held your books tighter. You just wanted that playboy to leave you alone.
"(Y/N)!!"
"What?!", you growled at him with a deathly glare.
He looked down regretfully, "(Y/N), I can explain..."
"Well, you've got 3 minutes until class. Make it quick.", you said impatiently, looking at your watch.
"You overheard us, right?", Dick started.
You nodded, sighing.
"Anyways, so you know it was a bet. The bet was me trying to get you to like me. That's why I showed you around the school that day.", Dick confessed.
Your eyes shimmered with hurt at his confession.
"Whatever.... I should've known the king of the school would only look down at a peasant like me.", you spat, preparing to turn around.
"But when I showed you around, I was glad I did it.", he continued, startling you.
You looked at him curiously.
"So, after that day I hung out with you more, and the more I did, the more I didn't want to do the bet anymore. You were special. You didn't fangirl at me like other girls did. And, I actually started to fall... for you. I'm sorry about everything, I'm sorry about hurting you. Please, forgive me.", he said.
You stared at him sadly.
Go on, (Y/N). Forgive him.
But what if this is all just another bet?
Listen to your heart.
Don't risk it!
You mind kept arguing with itself, and you couldn't make up your mind.
"I-I'm sorry, Dick, but goodbye.", you whispered, fighting back the tears as they filled your eyes.
You walked away, leaving a sad and guilty Dick behind.

You walked into the cafeteria with your tray. You usually sat with Dick, Wally, and Barbara, but today you decided to do to the school's rooftop to eat lunch.
Robin was awfully quiet, picking at his food.
Wally and Barbara worriedly exchanged looks.
After lunch, Wally went to look for you.
He looked everywhere; the classrooms, the gym, the cafeteria, even outside! He finally found you silently eating your food on the rooftop.
Wally walked over to you and sat down.
"Hey, (Y/N).", he softly greeted you, breaking you out of your thoughts.
"Oh. Hey.", you said shortly, surprising him with your cold tone.
"Um, how are you?", Wally asked awkwardly.
"Oh, just peachy!", you exclaimed sarcastically.
"Whaddya think?", you snapped, glaring at him.
Wally flinched and looked down in guilt.
"I'm really sorry, (Y/N). About the bet.", Wally quietly apologized.
You stayed silent, letting Wally continue to speak.
"I didn't think about your feelings if Dick really did tell you it was all a bet.", he sighed.
"But let me tell you. The whole reason I gave him that bet was because I saw the way he looked at you. It was love at first sight, I tell you.", he chuckled softly.
You processed his words and your head snapped up.
"What?"
"You heard me. He likes you. When we were in the hall... he was talking about dropping the bet.", Wally explained.
Your mouth formed into an 'o' shape as you looked down.
"H-He said he liked me... and I didn't believe him... I thought he was lying to me again.", you breathed out, tears filling your eyes.
Wally looked down at his feet, "It's all my fault that all this happened."
You placed your finger under his chin, making him look up at you.
"Thank you for telling me.", you said softly.
"I'm really, really, really, really, really-"
"I forgive you.", you smiled warmly.
You stood up, startling the ginger.
"I need to go find him.", you declared, your eyes sparkling with confidence.
Wally's lips curved into a smile as he looked at your confident attitude.
You smiled and winked at him, running off.

Dick dumped his untouched food into the garbage as trudged into the hallway; only to find a (H/C) haired colored girl waiting for him.
His eyes widened as you waved shyly at him.
"Hi, Di-", you started to say but was interrupted.
Dick had pounced on you, giving you a tight hug.
You hugged back, sort of frozen by his sudden actions.
"(Y-Y/N)... y-you're here.", he sniffed, startling you.
"D-Dick? Are you crying?!". you sputtered.
"N-Noooo...", he denied, but immediately broke down afterwards.
He felt so embarrassed, crying in front of you. But really thought he had lost you forever.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I-", he repeated but you cut him off.
"I forgive you.", you whispered, wiping away the tears on his cheeks.
"Wally told me everything. I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you!", you said, pouting.
Dick softly laughed at your adorable, guilty face.
"It's ok. But how 'bout this time we go on a real date?", he grinned, pulling away from the hug.
You smiled brightly at him and locked your lips with his.
He turned bright red but kissed back.
You pulled away and giggled.
"Is that a good enough answer for you?", you asked, teasing him.
He nodded, flustered.
"After school, Friday?", you suggested.
Dick simply nodded, still stunned.
You giggled at his expression.
You pecked his cheek and walked to your next class.
Dick stood there, placing his hand on his lips.
He soon smiled crazily at what just happened, still dazed.
As he watched your silhouette disappear, Wally smiled from a distance away.
Who knew that a bet could spring a relationship? Maybe he should make bets more often...
