• Kaye POV •
Me and Hayes were at the park. "damn that tree is big." Hayes said. I looked at the tree and it was really big. he took my hand and we climbed up it.
We started carving random things in the tree. "are you okay? Like honestly?" He asked. I smiled, "yeah. I don't know, after yesterday I've been happy. I want to have a good summer, no more drama." I said.
"That's good." He smiled. "how are you and Jordan?" I asked. "I don't know, I haven't spoken to her all week." I said. "why are you with this loser!" I heard someone yell.
I looked down to see Madison. "of course." Hayes chuckled. he threw a rock at her and we laughed when it hit carter instead.
"Hey!" Carter whined rubbing his head where the rock hit him. "you'll be alright." I said. They walked off after Madison said we were going to hang out with them later.
Me and Hayes were laughing about something that happened when summer first started and I never realized how much I missed the beginning of summer until we talked about all the things we did.
"I want to go back to that." I said. "me too." He said. I looked into his crystal blue eyes and smiled. "I've always loved your eyes." I said. "I've always loved your eyes." He said.
I laughed. it got quiet and he stared down at my lips. I didn't know what was going on, but the next thing I knew was that we were leaning in.
I felt his lips and I quickly pulled away accidentally pushing on Hayes who fell out of the tree.
I quickly got down. "are you okay?" I asked. He nodded. "I think we should get home." I said. I helped him up and we walked home.
It was really awkward and we didn't say one word to each other. we walked inside and Cameron and Nash were making a YouTube video.
"I want to make one!" I said jumping on the couch in between them. "this is my little sister!" Nash yelled hugging me from the side. "she was my sister first!" Cameron whined pulling him away from me.
"She my girlfriend." Matthew smirked kissing my cheek from behind. they both glared at him in a jokingly way. "well I'm bae!" Madison yelled. she looked at Hayes waiting for him to argue with her but he didn't.
"What happened?" She mouthed I told her I would tell her later. "okay, next question." Cameron said. he looked at his phone. "did Kaye and Hayes ever date?" He read.
Me and Hayes looked at each other and I quickly looked away. Matthew gave me a confused look. "we've never dated. he's my bestest friend." I looked into the camera.
"Plus, Hayes has a gorgeous girlfriend Jordan." I added. "Nest question." Nash said. "has Nash ever tried to hit on Kaye?" He read. we all started laughing. "guys, that's like me hitting on Kaye." Cameron laughed.
"Kaye is like my little sister!" Nash laughed. "That would be really gross!" I laughed. "I can twerk." Carter said. we all looked at him twerking on Madison.
She pretended to throw money on him and we laughed. Hayes just sat there staring at his phone.
"Hayes?" I said. Hayes got up and walked upstairs. I followed and so did madison. She closed the door behind her once we got in the room.
"Please leave me alone." he said. "Hayes, why are you ignoring me?" I asked. "I cheated on my girlfriend with you! Out of all people!" He yelled.
"What? Was that a downgrade!" I yelled. "That's not what I'm saying. It's just you guys are close and we're also close." He said.
"Well you can't just ignore me." I said. "yeah, well I don't want to talk to anyone right now." He said. "fine." I mumbled.
Me and Madison walked back downstairs and the boys were putting their shoes on. "where are y'all going?" He asked. "we're going out to eat, get Hayes." Cameron said.
I went upstairs. "I said I-" I cut him off. "we're going out to eat and we're leaving now." I said. he nodded and we went downstairs and got in the car.
We all sat around a circle table. I sat by Cameron and Madison. "I love you." Cameron said hugged me. "I love you." I smiled. "Aw!" The boys cooed.
"Ew." Madison said. "says the one who kisses carter all the time." I said. "yep." She smirked, kissing him again.
A group of boys walked past our table and one winked at me. I was hoping the boys didn't notice, but Nash did.
He whispered something in Cameron's ear and Cameron looked at the group of boys who had a table right next to ours.
"Mhm, better not be looking at my sister." Cameron shouted, causing the boys to look over at our table. "Hey, they're hot." Madison smirked at me.
"We're going to the bathroom." I told Cameron. "Mhm, don't look at those boys." He said. "what boys?" I said before me and Madison left.
We walked to the bathroom and fixed our hair. "you're taken." She told me. "so are you." I said. "no I'm not, me and carter aren't a thing. we just act like it." She shrugged.
I hope carter says the same thing because I think he thinks they're together, like a couple.
We walked out and the guy that winked at me was there. "oh hey." He said. "Hi." We smiled. I walked past him and we sat back down.
He came to our table and walked over to me. the boys were all glaring at him. "Um, can I talk to you?" He asked. "No." The boys all said.
Madison started laughing and I glared at her. "stop being mean." I told the boys. "She's taken dude." Matthew said, taking my hand and sitting me on his lap.
"She's about to be single." Cameron snapped, pulling me off of Matthews lap.
I stood up and we walked outside. "I'm Luke." He smiled. "Kalyn, but you can call me Kaye." I smiled. "I don't know you, but I'm new around here a-" he got cut off.
"Come on babe, our foods done." Matthew said and kissed me cheek. he's just trying to make Luke jealous. He gave me his number and I put it in my pocket.
I wasn't going to use it, because I have a boyfriend. "bye Luke, I'll call you." I smiled. "Good." Luke smiled and left.
"Really Kalyn!" Matthew yelled. "what Matthew!?" I yelled. "you flirted with someone in front of me!" He yelled. "you act like I was going to call him! You didn't have to be rude!" I yelled.
"Yeah, whatever." He said.
• Later •
We were getting ready to leave but a few fans wanted pictures. me and madison just watched as the boys took pictures.
"You're a cutie." Matthew bit his lip, smirking at a girl. "shes a thottie, that's what she is." Madison said. I started laughing and Matthew kissed that girl.
I felt jealously and I was mad. "thank you so much!" The girl said hugging him. Hayes looked at me, then Matthew.
We went home and I purposely ignored Matthew. "Now what?" He asked. "You kissed a girl in front of me!" I yelled. "it was for a picture stop being so jealous!You can flirt with guys, but I can't make a fan happy!" He yelled.
"Stop talking to her like that! She was being nice and she got rid of that stupid number! You kissed that girl on the lips in front of your girlfriend!" Hayes yelled.
I wasn't expecting him to say anything. "What's going on?" Cameron asked, coming in my room. "nothing." I said. "why did you yell Hayes?" Nash and Hayes.
"Ask Matthew." Hayes shook his head, before sitting on his bed. "maybe we need to take a break." I said. "Kaye, I was just jealous." Matthew said.
"You can't keep getting jealous." I said. "what happened?" Cameron asked again. "nothing Cameron, it's settled. me and Matthew are taking a break." I said.
"Kaye. Please." Matthew said. "no." I said.
Hayes chuckled and Matthew glared at him.
