Summary: (Y/N) gets captured by the Young Justice team, forced to answer the many questions Red Robin has prepared for you. But as they continue to ask, they learn more about your backstory, coming to an important decision.

"(V/N)! Come on! We're going to Gotham City today!", Poison Ivy, your best friend, called out. She was the one who took you in. See, you were abandoned.
"Ok, ok...", you groaned.
You walked out and saw Poison Ivy tapping her foot impatiently.
"Do I have to??", you whined. She sighed and shook her head.
"You have no choice, Rose." (Rose is her nickname for you :3)
You sighed. There's no getting out of this.
--TIMESKIP TO BATTLEFIELD AT THE LABORATORY--
"(V/N)! You're needed HERE!!", Harley screamed at you.
You groan and hesitantly knock out another guard. You run over to Harley.
"Password. Hack it, Sweets.", she orders.
You rolled your eyes playfully and used your wrist watch(?) to hack into the system. After a few seconds, you got in.
"K... wait a minute... perfect! Let's go.", you said.
Of COURSE, Joker placed a bomb in the IMPORTANT laboratory and sent a video to the Young Justice team about how he was gonna blow up the place and blah and blah...
Honestly, you weren't into this whole villain stuff. So, you didn't really care, and you felt a bit guilty about how you guys were gonna blow up such an important laboratory that would take years to rebuild.
"When will I ever get out of this...?", you thought, sadly.

--Robin's POV--
The team was watching the video that Joker sent. Robin was usually serious and focused on missions, but he couldn't help but stare at the (H/C) haired girl in the background. She seemed... special for some reason.
"Team.", Nightwing's voice boomed, interrupting his thoughts, "Robin, Beast Boy, Miss Martian on Alpha team. Blue Beetle, Superboy, Wondergirl on Beta team. Lagoon boy, Impulse, Batgirl on Gamma team."

Robin was fighting you. One vs one. He was a little bit distracted, so his moves were a bit off. He was just looking into your sparkling (E/C) eyes. He kept wondering why such a pretty girl was a villain! But, then again, you can't judge a book by it's cover. He grunted when you kicked his stomach. He regained his focus and tripped you. He grabbed his taser and tased you before you could attack him again.

You opened you eyes and saw that your arms and legs were cuffed.
"What the-", you grunted, trying to break free.
"You can keep on trying, but you'll only tire yourself out.", a voice suddenly called out.
You narrowed your eyes and looked around.
"Let me guess... I got captured by the Young Justice team.", you sighed.
The person steps forward. Robin.
"Oh. It's the Bird-Brain.", you groan.
He narrows his eyes. (Inside the mask)
"Ha, ha. So funny.", he says.
"Actually, it's pretty funny to me.", you shrug.
"Well, we're gonna ask you a few questions, (V/N).", he says, and motions for Martian girl to come in.
"Shoot.", you sigh.
"How'd you get into the villain team?"
"Why should I tell you?", you spat.
"M'gann here can read your mind. Might as well just tell us.", he replies.
You sigh and groaned, "Fiiiine. Poison Ivy saved me."
"More information? As in, the WHOLE story."
You narrow your eyes at the Bird-Brain.
"My parents abandoned me. They left me in a box in an alleyway. Poison Ivy found me and took me in. She's like a sister to me. She's taken care of me for my whole life. She's my family along with Harley Quinn.", You said, looking down at your suddenly very interesting feet.
Robin glances at M'gann and she nods.
"Do you know what they're planning next?"
"Nope. They didn't tell me because they think I'm too YOUNG.", you grumbled.
He glances at M'gann again and she nods.
"Why didn't you ever leave the villains?", he asked.
"Because they're my family. All of them. Do you even know why they became villains? They had dreams. But they couldn't live their dream because they were different. Lots of people judged them. So they grew hurt. They're like this right now is because of an unfortunate past. Not everyone can have a lucky, happy life.", you chuckled, bitterly, "Poison Ivy wanted to be a florist. But then people saw that she had powers, and called her a freak. Being a villain was like her escape. Then, there's Harley. She fell in love with a guy, but he rejected her because he thought she was ugly. So, here she is. She took a few drugs to drain out the pain, and it made her kinda crazy. Then, she fell in love with Joker. She... she didn't want to accept another rejection. Me? I don't wanna be evil. I always hesitate. I don't want to hurt people. I always feel so, so guilty. I just want to have a simple, normal life. But, I don't have that choice.", you said, staring at your feet.
You looked up and he was looking at you too. He glances at M'gann and she quietly leaves the room. Robin walks towards you and kneels down.
"Join the team.", he says.
Your eyes widen, "M-Me? But, Poison Ivy... a-and Harley! I can't leave them!"
He nods, understandingly, "Please, at least think about it. You're a really good fighter. You'd be a great add to the team. And that kick in the stomach. You weren't holding back on that!", he grins.
You laugh, "Ok, ok, Birdy. I'll think about it... and, Bird-Boy?"
"Do you really have that many nicknames for me?!"
You giggled, "Maybe. Anyways...", you gulp, "C-Can I call Poison Ivy? I just wanna see what she'll think about me joining the team."
He looks at you with a worried look on his face.
"I promise I won't tell her to, y'know, come here.", you quickly say.
"You swear?", he asks.
"I swear.", you answer, crossing your heart.
He uncuffed one of your arms and gave you a phone. You dial Poison Ivy's number.
"H-Hello?", she sniffs. You furrowed your eyebrows in worry. She sounded like she had been crying for a long time.
"Ivy, it's me. (V/N)."
"R-Rose? I was so worried!! Are you ok??"
"I'm ok. I-I'm at the Young Justice HQ thingy...."
"Wait-WHAT?! I'm calling the others-"
"NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!! I'm thinking about.. joining the team.", you say, quietly.
She stays silent for a moment.
"I knew you weren't evil.", she finally says.
"I know, I'm sor- wait, what did you just say?", you asked, shocked.
"You never gave me that whole "Villain" vibe, and you always hesitated before you knocked someone out."
"So, you're telling me you KNEW I didn't want to fight?"
"Yes. For a while now, actually. One question. Do you really wanna join that team?"
"I... just wanna make sure you won't be mad. You're like a sister to me! I don't want my best friend becoming my enemy!"
"But, you don't want to stay a villain, do you?"
"....no... no I don't."
"Join the team, then."
"Really?"
"Yes. I don't want you being a villain because of me! Live your dream." (Yes, kinda added a Tangled reference... don't judge me)
"What about Harley?"
"Oh, she'll understand! But we'll miss you!"
"I'll miss you guys, too. I'll call you if I can!"
"Ok, Rose! Love yooouu!"
"Bye, Ivy! Love you, too!", you say, happily. You hanged up and turned to Robin.
"I'll join.", you say, smiling widely.
"Really?! She let you?!", Robin says, flabbergasted.
"She's not really evil, either... will I be able to at least call her sometimes?", you ask him, doing puppy eyes.
"Fine. I'll try to convince Nightwing."
"Yes! Thanks, Birdy-Boy!", you squeal.
"Friends?", he asks, uncuffing you.
"Friends.", you answer, smiling.
"So... what's your superhero name gonna be?"
"(S/H/N). Yeah... (S/H/N)!"
He grinned, "(S/H/N). I like the sound of that."
You laugh, "I do, too."
That's how (S/H/N) joined the Young Justice team.
