Walking through the dark house, Hoseok found himself searching for her again.
The girl that didn't have a name.
She didn't have a name... Because she wasn't a girl, but how else was he supposed to refer to her as?
He didn't want to call her a monster and it was even worse to call her a 'thing'.
He just knew that, whatever she was, he loved her.
The first time he saw her, she was bawling her bloodshot eyes out.
The second time, she was screeching at the top of her lungs at some neighbourhood kids who had thrown stones at her territory.
The third time... She was out to kill.
That may have been the third time he saw her but it was the first time he had anything to do with her.
He managed to suppress the girl into a slumber, with the use of a drug he had access to from his work as a lab worker.
He was glad that he was able to stop her from approaching anyone with the sharpened claws she had grown but what he didn't know at the time was that she wasn't trying to murder someone else.
She was trying to take her own life.
He gained her trust and began promising to spend time with the lonely girl.
He looked past her rather... distinctive features and saw a creature full of innocence.
She was just a girl who wanted to belong.
Wanted to be seen as normal.
He would come everyday, late at night. After his shift had ended.
He would talk with her, keep her company.
At one point, during all the jokes and deep conversations, he found himself falling in love.
This particular night, he wanted to help her even more.
He knew that behind all the friendliness, she was fearfully hiding behind a morbid self-hatred.
Once he finally found the girl, he gave a huge smile.
"Hey, sorry if I kept you waiting." He said to the girl who was watching the night sky.
She smiled at him before pointing at a plate of biscuits.
"For you." She explained.
Hoseok chuckled before picking one up and taking a bite.
"So what are you watching now?"
He watched her gleaming red eyes wander outside again.
"Not watching... Thinking." She said almost tiredly.
He hummed in response, before his attention focussed on the blood on her wrists.
He ran to her and gasped the large red puddle at her lap.
She slit her wrists, and slashed at her legs.
The blood was still pouring out.
If she was left like this for any longer, he would lose her.
"Why would you!?- wait let me help."
"Hoseok." She held his arm weakly.
"Can I talk to you? For one last time.
"No don't say that, wait I'll get you better."
"I don't want to." She almost whined, tears pricking at her eyes.
Hoseok realised that she wasn't going to let him save her.
And even if he was able to, she could just do it again.
There was no one willing to help her, other than him but what could he do?
"I just want to be with you." She said, resting her head on his chest.
He closed his eyes and listened to the slow breaths of the girl.
He was letting her die...
"...I'm so sorry." He whimpered.
He squeezed her hand in his and sobbed.
"...you should go now." She said.
"Get... Yourself cleaned up."
"You're worrying about my appearance when you're bleeding out? Seriously?" He said.
She giggled feebly.
"Just go Hoseok..."
He placed her against the wall, whispering sorrys over and over again.
He knew he couldn't get anyone to help her.
No one would want to help a 'monster' like her.
And he felt as thought he was killing her himself.
Hands hidden in his pockets, Hoseok left the godforsaken place.
Tears rolling down his cheeks at the blood on his hands.
He walked with the weight of his sins...

Okay real talk, I can't write a story where Hoseok actually does something to the girl for some reason. I think his pureness is getting to me XD.
Although I guess this ending is bad enough as it is...?
