(Michael's POV)

I could hear her cries from across the pack house. It broke my heart to listen to her so broken. And it was all because of him... I wanted to kill him the moment that I found Tori laying on the ground in the hall. I remember arguing with Ricky about him and how I was supposed to give her the love that he couldn't. I stepped out of my room and came face to face with the Beta, Tim. Here we go again, what was it that he was going to say now?

"I'm pretty sure that you know why I'm here." He snapped, "You need to watch yourself, boy. The Alpha and Luna may be going through a hard time, but that doesn't mean—" I growled; I wasn't going to sit here and let him disrespect me... constantly. Even when I wasn't thinking anything, he always found his way to come at me with something.

"How about you stay out of my head," I growled at him, "Boy." I felt a sharp pain in my back. He held his arm on my neck, my back against the wall; he was noticing my challenge. His eyes were a golden color; he was in full wolf mode.

"Don't you ever disrespect me again!" His command hit me like a brick, all of his authority burning me through his gaze.

"Then, stop harassing me! You constantly stay in my face, bitching about my thoughts! Well, if you don't like them, then get out of my head!" I was sick of it, and it needed to stop, the harassment. I took a deep breath, calming myself. "If it's a crime to want to help my best friend, my Luna, then go ahead and say it so that she can cry for the rest of her life," His eyes turned back to normal. "But we both know that the Alpha is already being tortured with his decision, he doesn't need to hear her crying about it as well." Tim released me from the wall and nodded towards the door. He was looking down, clearly feeling stupid.

"Don't do anything funny," He said. "I know about your feelings for her. That's why I don't let off on you, but it's clear that your wolf doesn't." I ignored him and made my way out of the room to Tori. I opened the door and found her laying on her bed, and she was staring up at the ceiling. She sat up; looking at me, she fell back on her back. I closed the door behind me as I proceeded into the room. I sat on the bed, poking her wet cheek. She smacked my hand away after two minutes.

"Stop." She signed. I continued to poke her. I was going to annoy the living shit out of her until she answered me. She smacked my hand harder, "I said, stop it, Michael! Why don't you ever listen?"

"Because I hear you crying to my room, and you need to stop!" I signed; speed and anger mix in my signs. She either didn't care or seem to understand that I cared about her and that I wanted to help her. No one understands that I'll still care that I'll always care.

"Why should I stop? He broke my heart." Tears fell from her eyes, creating a river of sadness that seemed to have no end. The stream of tears reached to her chin and fell to her shirt. I brought her to me, sitting her on my lap and embracing her with every fiber of my being. If I could show her my love, I'd let her feel it. She was what meant the most to me, no matter what my wolf says. He can be as angry or as disappointed as he wanted, but that wasn't going to change anything about how I felt about her.

We were so close too, and you were starting to move on, Ricky said. I shook my head at him. He will never truly get it.

It doesn't matter how long I stay away from her. Whenever I see her, I will fall in love all over again. I snapped at him. I took my thoughts away from Ricky and brought them back to Tori. My sweet Tori. The one my eyes followed before my body did, the one my heart reached before my hands did. And here she was, in her full glory, sitting with me, on my lap, heartbroken.

I lifted her chin from my shoulder that she was laying on, "Do you trust me?" I asked she nodded. "Then, I want you to come with me." She frowned. "I'm tired of seeing your beautiful face stained with tears..." I explained. She blushed slightly, "Come with me?" She grinned and nodded. I stood up and brought her with me to the door and for the first time in forever, through hearing her endless cries and seeing her face staining tears. She smiled.

(Tori's POV)

I don't know where Michael was going to be taking me, but it was nice to get out of that damn room. My heart was broken... it still was. How could Klaus do that to me? I don't understand, we were working out together and it was starting to get more natural for me to be around this place. Then he comes around and... breaks me. I began to feel a sharp pain in my chest, familiar to the pain in my chest the night that I tried to run away from Klaus. I grabbed hold of my chest. Michael looked back at me.

"Are you alright?" He asked I nodded. I was fine; it was just that that pain was annoying. I continued to walk with Michael as we made our way outside of the pack house.

"Where are we going?" I asked Michael, he smiled.

"It's a surprise," He signed with a grin on his face. I frowned at him, trying to contain my own. I wonder where we were going, I thought. He pulled me on to his motorcycle. It seems as though it has been forever since I've been on it. I was still in awe about it; I can't believe I'm going to ride on it. Michael hands me a helmet that I happily put on. As we rode on his bike, I felt the familiar rush of excitement the last time I was on the bike with him. I laughed at the rush. After ten minutes of excitement, we came to a stop.

We were on an empty road next to a forest of trees. After all these years of living here, I haven't been past my school and the grocery store. Michael grabbed my hand and led me into the forest, and I let him. I trusted him, he was my best friend. We walked for a little while, it was a beautiful silence. Not giving the fact that I was deaf, but that he wasn't trying to sign to me or anything. He was admiring the scenery as I was, and it was beautiful. We came up to a beautiful stream; the water was sparkling in the sunlight, the gray rocks beneath the water looking smooth.

"How did you ever find this place?" I asked he looked from me to the water. He looked at it with as much love and admiration as I did: the way that the water flowed so freely and unknowing of where it would land. I smiled at him.

"I always come to this place when I am in my wolf form," He looked around again before continuing, "It keeps me... stable. I come here to think about things..."

"And what are the things that you think about?" I asked, genuinely interested, but also curious about what the answer to the question would be.

He looked at me after he looked down at the water for what felt like forever. "You, I think about us before all of this happened. I think about my family..." He slowly began to stop, he turned away and looked at the beauty, I wanted to continue talking to him, but I knew that he wanted to think. Hell I know I did.

I smiled at the beauty; I was starting to feel better already. I looked up at him; he brought me here to take away the pain of being stuck in that place with Klaus and the memory of him breaking my heart. At that moment, I remembered what it was that I loved about this boy so much. I remembered why I ran back and pushed Klaus off of him the day that he was turned. I remembered why I laid down in his blood with him as he was unconscious.

I remembered...

And I had chosen to forget it all, just so that I could give Klaus a chance. The man that caused all of this. How could I have forgotten? I didn't... I just wanted to let it go. But I did, and along the way, I let go of the person that meant the most to me. Michael.

I shook my head. This whole mate thing... it was bullshit. It wasn't Klaus that I was meant to be with or love; it was Michael. It was clear that I meant very little to Klaus, giving that he just... rejected me. I grabbed Michael's hand as I looked at the water. His hand was rough yet smooth, warm and familiar, I watched his hand clutch mine, he held onto mine tight, and I did the same to him. At that moment, I let myself cry, but not because I was hurt or angry. But because I remembered who it was that I loved... And who it was that I had almost forgotten.

Michael.

(Niklaus's POV)

"I don't know where she is, Klaus."

"How the hell did you let him leave with her?" I shouted. This was unbelievable! He really thought that he could take her away from—

"Nick, you need to calm down," Amadeo said, as he walked into the room. How dare he tell me—"I saw them heading north toward the border, but they stopped before they passed it. I don't know what was going on, but I do know that I don't hear her crying anymore." I sat down, looking at the papers on my desk then at my suitcase on the ground next to my desk. Yeah, I don't hear her crying, but that didn't make me feel better. I didn't want to do what I did, but... it wasn't right. Not this... the bond we have. Could I have possibly mistaken our relative bond for a mate bond? But that can't be! The amount of attraction that I have for her had to be because of the mate bond. Well... even if we weren't mates, I would still think she was beautiful. I put my hands on my head, dear Moon Goddess help me!

I felt Amadeo hand on my shoulder, "Are you going to be alright?" He asked. I nodded, I needed to get out of here before I either burst into tears or went insane.

"We need to go. We only have a couple of days until the meeting." I said, gathering my papers together. Amadeo said ok before he disappeared out the door. I don't know how I was going to get through two days without her, or better yet two days of living with my decision.

After an hour of giving the papers and instructions to Tim on things that were going to need to be handled and done while I was gone, we finally left. I sat with Deo on my private jet heading back home, Italy.

(Michael's POV)

I pulled away from Tori. I couldn't believe what was happening between us... One minute we were holding hands staring at the beauty around us. Then, she pulled me to her, kissing every inch of my face. Trust me, I didn't mind it, but I didn't want her to regret it later. But it was hard for me to stop myself, "Tori, I don't think you want to do this,"

"How do you know what I want?" She asked, pulling me back to her, but I pulled away. I wanted her... I did, but not after what he did. I wanted her to want me because she wanted me but not because her mate rejected her the day before.

I looked into her eyes, tears forming in her eyes, "Are you rejecting me too?" She asked. I gasped, of course not! I brought her into my arms and embraced her with every piece of strength I had. She meant so much to me. I would never treat her that way, I would never reject her the way he did.

I pulled back, "I would never do that to you, I promise." I embraced her once more before I pulled away and when I did, I kissed her with every bit of passion I could muster at that moment. She melted into my arms, her lips soft on mine. After what felt like forever, I pulled her back, both of us gasping for air. She cheeks bright with blush. She was amazingly beautiful.

I stopped myself as I heard a cracking sound behind me. I turned away from Tori, looking further into the trees as I searched for the source of the sound. I put myself on high alert as I looked of anything out of the ordinary. The sound had stopped, I turned back to Tori. The sound put me on high alert for anything and being that I've been a Werewolf for only a month, I had learned a lot quicker and was a lot stronger than a newborn would be at my age. I expanded my hearing over 100 meters out from where Tori and I were standing.

I heard the chirping of birds, the leaves moving in the breeze, everything that this forest held... but only one thing stood out... A heartbeat... three! They were too strong to be a deer or any other small creature yet stronger than a human. I opened my eyes with shock; there were other Werewolves with us... I started to drag Tori away with me as I smelled the air. From my training, I knew how to identify our packs scent. Each pack has a special scent, roses or maybe pine trees... ours was lemon. And whoever that was, sure as hell didn't have that scent.

~*~

(Tori's POV)

I don't understand why he started to take us away from the stream. What was so wrong to where we had to go? He had this crazy look on his face, went to sniffing the air and then started running. Now, we were at the motorcycle. Once we stopped, I turned to him, "What the hell is going on?"

He shook his head; he seemed to be getting more and more frantic by the second. "I know that this isn't smart, but I need you to ride the motorcycle back where we came from." What the hell, what for? What was going on? I was going to ask him, but the look in his eyes screamed, No questions! I nodded. I didn't know how to drive a motorcycle, but I'm sure it can't be that hard. At least I hope it isn't. "I'm going to start it for you. All you have to do is move the handles in the direction you want it to go and pull back on the accelerating when you want to go faster." He pointed to the right handle, I nodded again.

He stopped his frantic explaining; he rubbed his fingers along my cheeks. Wiping tears away from my face. "I'll be running right behind you, but I want you to not stop. Keep going," He looked behind him, he moved me out of the way and got on the bike. He stomped with his leg on the right side of the bike, signaling that he started it. He got off and handed me a helmet to put on. "Move the lever on the left that holds the bike up. And pull on the accelerator." I nodded again. No questions! Don't ask questions!

I put myself on the bike, my insides turning to mush. I looked at Michael; he was staring at the forest that we came from. He looked dangerous, anger flowing through his aura. I gasped as I saw his mouth open; I felt the vibration of the roar through the ground. He looked at me, his mouth moving, "GO!" He said. I moved the lever with my foot and rotated the accelerator. The bike jerked off, but I was able to stay steady and continue to drive off. Tears came to my face as I raced away, not knowing what was going on, and not knowing what was going to happen to Michael.

~*~

(Michael's POV)

I had to protect her, it was my job to. I loved her and I couldn't let the one that I loved to get hurt by anything. Even though the moon wasn't out I prayed to the Moon Goddess that Tori made it out of here and to the pack house where she'd be safe. I didn't care if I didn't make it, I had never fought against two or more Werewolves at once. But that would come later in my training... if I made it there.

I shifted into my wolf as she sped away, I needed to stay with her and make sure she was safe. But I also needed to make sure that whoever these people are, that they didn't follow. I growled as two Rogues stepped out from the trees. I positioned my body to be ready to be attacked by both of them at the same time. One jumped at me, I dodged him. The other wolf scratched my side, I howled in pain. I jumped on him, landing on his back, I aimed to rip at the back of his neck, but the first wolf tackled me off of him. I landed on my back, my side still bleeding from that damn scratch. I got up, ready to attack, but I stopped, only because they did. They were back where they started, both ten feet apart. But this time, a woman walked in between them. Her presence shocking me, who was this woman...? She looked so familiar... She walked towards me. She wore an all black silk dress, no shoes and had long dark hair. She was beautiful, who was she? I feel like I've seen her somewhere before.

She reached me and brushed my fur, "You are strong, but yet you are weak." She said I looked down at her; I was about a good foot above her head. "Though, you have something special in you." She rubbed her hands through my fur one last time before removing her hand. "I can see why she chose you." What? What was she talking about? But I never got a chance to figure it out. The last thing I remember is her grin before everything went black.

(???? POV)

I watched his body collapse on the ground. He was such a handsome boy, he would've made of great use to me. But it seems that the girl has already claimed him. She was starting to come out of hiding; her powers are starting to become more like a beckon every day that goes by.

"She must have claimed him when they were in the forest," Devilish said, he was standing along with his brother, Uriah. My two men, my two consorts. I nodded at him.

"She did."

"She looks more like you now than before," Uriah said, a grin playing on his face. Even though he had a twin brother named Devilish, Uriah most definitely was the devilish one.

I looked down at the boy, "Well," I turned back to them and began to make my way to them, adding extra sway to my hips. Their eyes began to fill to with lust. "She is my daughter." They both smiled.

"What are we going to do about the boy?" Devilish asked, looking at the boy that had the courage to even stay back and fight them. I shrugged.

"Leave him there. I know that girl got her compassion from her father... So, yeah, she'll be here soon for him." I grumbled.

"Don't you think that we should wait for her?" I looked over at Uriah, even though he was the most devilish one between him and his brother, he was also the most sensitive. He wanted revenge on my daughter for what she had done to them, how she left them not caring about their pleas.

"I know that you are still hurt about what she did to you," I looked at Devilish, "To the both of you, but you need to understand that you are mine now." They both looked down, knowing that I'm right. When she decided to go into hiding, she took no one with her, not even her consorts. Which I was happy to take.

I turned around and continued to walk into the forest with my Consorts. Finally, my plan was being set into motion. I couldn't wait to see her again, but that time she wouldn't get away from me... again. Like she does every time.

I smiled. Finally.
