Aidan's pov
Four year later. The last year of College. Finals.
" I can't believe we're not gonna be students anymore " April said from the passenger side dangling her legs from the window.
I smiled " you can say that again " I told her.
" I can't believe we're not gonna be students anymore " she actually said that again.
I chuckled glancing over at her, and the childish grin she was sending me made me wanna park right here and do some serious not childish stuff to her.
" yeah, me too " I said glancing at the road.
" it's like we're very adult-y. I can actually yell at a minor for disrespecting me " she said and I laughed loudly.
" you went too far with that one, sweetheart "
" I can go as far as I want, I'm an adult now " she informed me crossing her arms.
I grinned " you were also an adult four years ago, Aps "
" ugh, stop ruining my imagination " she groaned. I chuckled parking infront of Starbucks.
" sorry for giving you a touch of reality. Now don't you dare move I'm gonna open your door " I told her as I got out and made my way to her side. I was actually surprised she let me open her door, she never do that.
When she got out she rolled her eyes " you should be sorry, and geez, don't look too surprised. I just thought it's the adult-y thing to do " she informed me raising her chin.
I laughed kissing her. " ok, adult lady, wait here, I'm gonna get our drinks then we should have a walk in that park over there "
She nodded smiling at me.
I made my way into the coffe shop and took a deep breath readying myself.
When I got out with the two cups she was on the phone laughing.
It was probably Mason.
The bastard went to a police academy in Madrid saying and I quote that 'you can't just go to a college in the same city you lived in. It's wrong on so many levels '.
Saying that we didn't miss having him around would be straight out lying. We missed him. But after a lot of drama fighting, breaking up, confessions, we managed to pull through and we are all still tight. Maybe not so tight especially between me and Mason but we're still friends.
And besides not having him around doesn't seem right.
" oh, yes he's right beside me, I'll put you on the speaker " April said as she putted him on the speaker.
" AIDAN. MAN. " came his too loud voice.
I smiled " hey, man. How's it going? "
" hell! The finals is killing me, I'm dying! " he said over exaggerating.
" over dramatic " me and April said in the same time.
" Don't gang up on me guys! Oh by the way, April did Aidan pop the_ " he started but was interrupted when I coughed out loud.
I was still coughing when April looked at me in concern " are you ok? " she asked taking the two cups.
I nodded while Mason said a " yes "
April rolled her eyes giving me my cup back. " I wasn't talking to you, idiot "
" I'm not an idiot! You should have been more specific " he argued.
" no, I didn't have to. You're an idiot "
" no, you're stupid "

" I coined it "

You would think after 4 years they would have Matured up. but nope they are still the same.
I took a sip of my coffe and let them argue a little while I put an arm around April and lead her to the park.
" you're a donkey "

" for the thousand time, horse isn't an insult "

I guess that's enough. Or five more seconds?
I left them five more Seconds before I stepped in " ok, guys enough.. Mason well talk to you later "
Mason laughed " ok, see you guys on Thanksgiving "
we said our goodbyes and I led April to a wooden pinch. She sat down and I waited anxiously as she took sips of her drink.
I know it's not the brightest idea to just propose by putting the ring in a cup of coffee latte but I was just so nervous and I didn't want it to be normal.
I don't know why I regret doing it this way. I wish I just did it differently.
Suddenly April started choking violently.

" April " I said worriedly, patting her back trying to do anything.
After a few violent coughs she put her hands in front of her mouth and pulled the ring.
Double shit. I knew it was a bad idea.
April took a second staring at the coffee covered ring and then she looked at me laughing, her face still red from her coughing fit.
I just looked at her worriedly.
" seriously Aidan? "she laughed a little more, I just stood there wanting nothing put to slam my head in the nearst wall. " are you trying to propose or kill me? " she was now hunched over laughing her little ass off.
I covered my face and groaned loudly feeling my ears burn.
" can you forget this ever happened and let's pretend that you just found it randomly like I've planned you too? " I pleaded.
She looked at me still chuckling " uh-uh, not happening. This is seriously entertaining. What if I just threw the cup and didn't notice it " she asked.
" then I would have give up because getting it would be embarrassing. " I told her.
She looked at me with a small smile inching closer to me. " would you really?" she asked, I inched closer.
" I would have probably bought another one though, and proposed like normal people do. " I said giving her a smile.
she laughed putting her arms around me and placing her lips on mine. I could do that forever, setting here with her, kissing.
I felt her open my palms and placed something wet as she bit my lower lips and pulled back making me want more.
I looked at my hands still in a daze and found the ring. I smiled looking at her setting there patiently with a grin.
I rolled my eyes playfully with a smile as I got down on one leg. " April Sullivan hemming, there are so many words I can say at the moment but it wouldn't even come close to how I would feel if you agreed to share my last name " I started " besides I've already gave one hell of a speech when I dropped the chicken nuggets, four years ago" she laughed, I smiled pulling out a tissue from my bocket and wiped the ring " so would you please look past this horrible proposal and be my wife?" I asked holding the ring.
She threw her head back and laughed and I couldn't love anything more than that laugh.
She got down on the floor and gave me her finger. I slide the ring slowly for theatrics and she once again laughed hugging me tightly. I hugged her tighter, nuzzling her neck with my nose.
" you know that would be one hell of a story if our grandkids asked how did you propose "
I smile liking the fact that she was ready for the very long ride.
And man, it would be one hell of a ride.
" if you told them, I'll deny it "
I said. She laughed. I hugged her tighter.
