Lillian swung her fire around her arms as she walked beside Kasai and Iroh, "Keep the flames close my dear. If they linger to far from your body the flames will die." Iroh instructed as Lillian bent her flames around her body, "I know uncle" Lillian said slowly, "But if I keep them too close then-" Suddenly Lillian's shoulders began to burn, "I might have my wings pop out.." Lillian said as she stopped. Iroh smiled at her, "You are a very powerful bender and not to mention a very powerful Tesnhi." Lillian smiled at Iroh as she tried again, "Now tell me my dear, where did you see this form?" Iroh asked, "I saw a water bender dance around her water at the last village we were in. It looked so beautiful and not to mention Fun!" Lillian said with grin. Kasai started sniffing the air and then came to sudden stop, "What is it boy?" Lillian asked with a raised brow. Iroh stood beside Lillian and stroked the Lionsharks mane, "Easy... Maybe it's Zuko?" Iroh suggested, "Kasai wouldn't growl for Zuko..." Lillian said as she released her wings and hovered before a thick berry bush, "What in agni's name-" Suddenly Iroh was flung into the air by a piece of earth and Kasai was pushed over, " Ohhh... That really hurt my tailbone." Iroh whined as he rubbed his behind, "Uncle! Are you alright?" Lillian gasped as she pulled him up, "Whose there!?" yelled the little earth kingdom girl who ambushed them, "My name is Lillian! And you attacked my Uncle!" Lillian said angrily. The earth girl spun around with her arms raised, "where are you? Why Can't I feel you?" She asked. Lillian raised her brow and then noticed that the girl had milky eyes but she was able to attack Kasai and Uncle, "This might sound crazy to you... But I am flying right now." Lillian said slowly. The girls eyes widened in shock, "Like airbending?" she asked curiously, "No... I'm a tenshi." Lillian said slowly, "A Tenshi? Like you have wings? I don't suppose you know Aang?" the girl asked. Lillian's face filled with shock, "Yes, I do have wings. Is he okay?" Lillian rushed. The girl smiled, "My names Toph, dragon girl. Nice to meet you. I've heard some awesome things about you." Toph said as she held out her hand. Lillian retracted her wings and took Toph's hand, "Like wise" Lillian said unsure. Iroh stood up and held his back, "Let's have some tea!" Iroh said as he sat back down slowly. Toph nodded as Lillian helped Iroh unpack, "Here is your tea. You seem a little too young to be traveling alone." Iroh said as he handed Toph her tea, Lillian smirked at Iroh, "Aren't you too old Uncle?" Lillian asked gaining a smile from Toph, "Perhaps I am" Iroh said with a small chuckle, " I know what you're both thinking. I look like I can't handle being by myself." Toph said as she gripped the tea cup, "Not really..." Lillian said, " I wasn't thinking that all." Iroh stated. Lillian watched as questions swam in Toph's milk eyes, "You wouldn't even let me pour my own cup of tea." Lillian giggled, "Uncle always pours the tea." Lillian said as she nudged Toph, "I poured your tea because I wanted to and for no other reason."Iroh said calmly, "People see me and think I'm weak. They want to take care of me. But I can take care of myself by myself." Toph said slightly upset but what she said caused Lillian to choke on her tea, "You sound like my nephew.  Always thinking you need to do things on your own without anyone's support. There is nothing wrong with letting people who love you help you.  Not that I love you; I just met you. " Iroh said. Toph began to laugh but noticed the pace of Lillian's heartbeat, "So, where is your nephew?" Toph asked slowly, " we've been tracking him, actually." Lillian spoke softly, "Is he lost?" Toph asked, "He wishes..." Lillian growled. Iroh gave Lillian a stern look before talking to Toph again, "Yes, a little bit. His life has recently changed and he's going through very difficult times. He is trying to figure out who he is and he went away." Iroh said sadly, "So... now you're following him." Toph asked confused, "He doesn't want us too but... We want to be close by if he needs us." Lillian said looking away. Toph faced Iroh as she stood up, "Your nephew is very lucky, even if he doesn't know it. Thank you." Lillian raised her brow, "For what? The tea?" Toph bowed, "No, thank you for what you said. It helped me." Toph said with a smile. Just before she walked away Toph faced Lillian, "You should prabaly tell him that You and his uncle need him... I'm sure I'll meet you again soon Dragon girl." Toph said as she walked away. Lillian smiled at the odd nickname, "You too... Toph."

"Move Kasai!" Lillian yelled as she flew beside Iroh and Kasai, "Lillian, I don't suppose your friend might like some tea?" Iroh suggested. Lillian gave Iroh a deadpan expression, "Sure! I'll ask him when he's not throwing fireballs at us!" Lillian yelled before blocking a large ball of fire. Kasai leaped over a large tree trunk that had fallen over which caused Lillian to almost fly into it, "Pretty Princess! Let's play a game!" echoed a hoarse voice. Lillian's eyes widened curiously , "Why are you doing this?" Lillian yelled as she blasted fire at her attacker. Iroh and Kasai had gotten a good distance away but Lillian still had to lose this freak with orange hair? Lillian skidded across the floor as she came to a full stop and faced her attacker, " Who are you!?!" Lillian demanded as she grabbed the man by his wings and threw him into a tree, "ah... You don't know me... but you may know of me." The man said with a smirk. Lillian took her stance and lit her fists in flames, I "Not sure I do?" Lillian said as she dodged his attack again, "But do you know who your target is?" Lillian hissed as she crouched beneath him and struck him hard in the jaw with her flaming fist causing him to stumble back, "Clearly not..." Lillian added as she created fire daggers, "Mac...." said his hoarse voice, "What did you just say?" Lillian growled as she stepped closer, "My name is Mac, Princess and I am going to be your end!" Mac growled before throwing a smoke pellet and disappearing. Lillian flew out of the cloud of smoke and watched as he flew away from her, "Coward!" Lillian yelled. Lillian held her left rib, "Lillian!" Iroh yelled from below, "I'm fine Uncle!" Lillian yelled as she swooped down beside him and Kasai. Iroh jumped off Kasai and walked towards Lillian, "Who was that my dear?" Iroh asked curiously. Lillian stared at the floor, "I...I don't know uncle..." Lillian answered slightly worried. The name ran through Lillian's memories but she just couldn't place it, 'Mac? Why does that sound like a name Gran Scarlet said?' Lillian thought as she stared at her bare hands, "My dear, I believe we have bigger problems..." Iroh said in a worried tone as the approached a hill top that looked over a old village, "Azula!" Lillian hissed before she and Iroh ran down.

Lillian ran towards Zuko's motionless form that lay on the ground before Azula, "Get away from him!" Lillian yelled as she bent a stream of fire at her. Azula jumped out of the way and ran towards the center of the town, "Hello Peasant or should I say... Princess" Azula said evilly. Lillian straightened, "What are you talking about?" Lillian asked. Azula took a strand of her hair and began twirling it around her finger, "Oh, you know Exactly what I'm talking about... Does dear old Zuzu know? I don't suppose-" Lillian created a fire dagger that flickered from orange to blue, "Spit it out Azula!" Lillian growled. Azula smirked at the girl before her, "I have a preposition for you..." Azula said in her kind voice. Lillian's flames turned white, "No Thanks!" Lillian began attacking Azula into a corner. She tried to flee but Toph earth bent the ground below her causing her to fall, "I thought you guys could use a little help." Toph said with a smirk, "Hey Pebble!" Lillian said with a large grin. Everyone began closing in on Azula resulting her to be backed into a corner. Lillian stood between Zuko and Toph as Iroh was on Zuko's side, "Give up Azula!" Lillian yelled, "Well, look at this. Enemies and traitors all working together. I'm done. I know when I'm beaten. You got me. A princess surrenders with honor. " Azula said as she raised her hands in defeat. Lillian watched as Azula smirked and suddenly sent a blue blast of fire at Iroh, "Noooo!" Zuko yelled before everyone attacked Azula. Water, Fire, Earth, Air and steel wasn't strong enough to stop her. Lillian lowered her stance and looked over to Zuko as he sat beside Iroh clenching his teeth and fists in anger. Lillian fell on her knees on the other side of Iroh as the other's approach cautiously, "Get away from us!" Zuko growled harshly. Lillian's eyes fell on Toph's worried expression, "Zuko, I can help!" Katara said as she walked closer, "Leave!" Zuko yelled and bent an arc of fire at Katara but Lillian dissipated the flames quickly, "Zuko... he needs help..." Lillian said firmly. Zuko stared into her redish brown eyes that began to flicker to their crimson color. Lillian knelt beside Zuko and nodded for Katara to help. Katara bent water out of her skin pack and placed the water over Iroh's chest. Once the water began to glow Iroh began to grunt in pain, "Your making it worse!" Zuko yelled as he tried to lunge forward but Lillian wrapped her arms around him and held him back, "Zuko..." Lillian whispered, "Just watch..." and with that, Iroh's face became peaceful. Katara bent her water back into her water skin and looked over at Lillian, "I've healed the worse parts but he will still be in a bit of pain. Bandage his wounds and try to prevent infection. " Katara said soflty. Lillian nodded at Katara, "Thank you" Lillian whispered, "From both of us" Katara nodded and then left.

Once the Avatar and his friends were gone, Lillian and Zuko lifted Iroh onto Kasai's saddle and began walking to the top of the low mountain range where there were old homes. Zuko walked closely beside Kasai watching his Uncle for any sign of discomfort as Lillian walked ahead pulling Kasai by his reins. Lillian and Zuko walked in silence until they came to a stable empty house. Lillian placed the mats down and then helped Zuko to place Iroh down, "We need to make a fire and clean his wounds." Lillian said as she covered Iroh with blankets. Zuko remained silent, "I have bandages in that small red bag on the saddle." Lillian said as she poured some water into bowl with a few herbs, "I'll get the wood..." Zuko said quietly and then walked away. Lillian stared at the empty space where Zuko had stood, "Okay..." Lillian whispered as she removed her crystal and dipped it into the water causing the water to glow the same color as Katara's healing hands.

Lillian had just finished bandaging Iroh when Zuko dropped the firewood outside. Lillian watched silently as he packed the wood and set it alight, "Zuko... He's going to be ok-" "WE DON'T KNOW THAT!" Zuko yelled causing the fire to flare. Lillian's face fell to the floor, "I do..." Lillian whispered as she got up and walked over to Kasai, "Let's go hunt boy..." Lillian said as she stroked his ear. Zuko's face fell with guilt as he watched Lillian and Kasai walk away from the light of the fire.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zuko sat poking the fire when Kasai returned with a large Batdeer in his mouth. Kasai dropped his kill at Zuko's feet before nudging him with his head and looking over to a large tree where Lillian's figure was barley visible. Zuko petted the Lionshark's head before walking over to Lillian. Zuko stood beside Lillian as she lay flat on her back staring up at the dark night sky, "Hey..." Zuko said as he sat down, "Hey..." Lillian replied while watching the stars glisten. There was a peaceful silence until Zuko began mumbling something under his breath, Lillian rolled her eyes, "Well?" Zuko asked annoyed. Lillian sat up, "well what?" Lillian growled, "Nothing!" Zuko said with his hands in the air. Lillian raised her brow before turning her back and crossing her arms, "Whatever..." Lillian whispered. Zuko placed his hand behind his neck, "h-how are you?" Zuko repeated. Lillian stood up and faced Zuko, "Why do you care? Your probably going to pack up and leave us again soon. So why wait? Go now while Uncle is asleep!" Lillian yelled hurt. Zuko lowered his head and stared at the ground, "I missed you..." Zuko whispered. Lillian's eyes widened at his statement, "You still left... You could of at least told me to my face..." Lillian said as she began walking back to camp. Zuko caught her arm, "Lilly... I'm so sorry if I hurt you... But I'm staying, I promise." Zuko said as he stood in front of Lillian and placed his hand on her cheek, "Zuko I-" but before Lillian could say anything Zuko leaned down to kiss her. Lillian turned her cheek, "Your staying for the Avatar... Not for us
..I don't think now is a good time... You need to figure out what you want to do and where you want to be...we might not ever return to the Fire Nation now that Azula is hunting us... And you know what... I'm ok with that... But I need to know if your going to accept that fact and be able to move on with your life...." Lillian took a deep breath "I have feelings for you Zuko... but until your absolutely sure of your own... I think it's best we keep our relationship strictly professional..." Lillian whispered as she pulled away and returned to their camp. Zuko stood still as he watched Lillian's long hair sway with her walk, "I am sure of my feelings... I just wish you'd understand how difficult this is for me Lilly..." Zuko whispered to himself before returning to their camp alone.
