Madara POV:
After she fainted we all immediately retreated and came back here.
Her body was covered in bandages. I got a medic for her. She unwrapped her bandages, treated her wounds and then wrap her with fresh bandages again.
Her body was covered in whip marks. Seeing her like this made me realize how much she had suffered.
I gritted my teeth in anger. The day I get my hands on them, I will make them regret the day when they were born.
It had been morning now and she hadn't woken up still. I sat by the bed on a chair awoke all the night. Well sometimes sleep took over me but I woke up with even the slightest movement. I won't let something like that to happen again.
My hand which was holding hers felt a movement beneath it. My attention snapped over there. There was a movement in her fingers.
I turned my gaze to her face. Her eyes were tightly shut as if she was trying to open them.
After few seconds those blue glassy orbs came in view for me. My heart clenched painfully when I looked into her eyes.
They were not the same eyes I used to see. They used to be so bright, so full of light and warmth. But now they are dull, cold and empty. They held no emotion. There was no change that occurred when she gazed into mine.
I looked at her face this time. And a sharp pain went past my chest at the emotionless stare I was getting.
No. No. For all these days I have just waited so that I can held her to me again. To look at her beautiful face and to get drowned into that ocean blue eyes.
But this is something what I don't want. She doesn't even look like my Shanaya.
"Shanaya" I managed to say. Her eyes went wide opened when she heard the name.
What is the meaning of this? Why is she reacting this way listening to her name.
She kept her palms in the bed and pushed her body upwards. Getting the hint I wrapped my arms around her figure and helped her. I didn't missed the fact that her body shivered at the contact.
But why? Why is she afraid of me?
Her eyes shifted towards the glass of water. So I helped her with it.
"Shanaya" she said in a soft voice. Her voice had always been soft but this one is different.
It was not as confident as the other's were. It was low and shaky.
"Shanaya" she said again. "Hnn" I said in a questioning tone and hopefully she understood that.
"Is that my name. Am I Shanaya?"
My whole body froze. Shock went pass each and every inch of my body. My jaw dropped and fists clenched at her unexpected question. I was a little taken aback and little disappointed as she refused to acknowledge me last night. I thought that she was scared. But never in my life I have expected this.
"Please tell me." She almost cried as she shaked my shoulders.
"Yes it's you. You are Shanaya." I told her and a faint smile spread though her lips.
"Do you don't remember anything?" I asked and she shaked her head.
"I see" I said trying to fake a smile but failed.
Looking at her again I saw her shifting as she fell back on the bed again. Turning her back to me she curled up in a ball and started crying.
I could hear her sizzling and whimpers as she cried.
Wanting to console her I put a hand on her shoulder. But soon pulled away as her body started shaking in fear at my touch.
She is afraid of me.... I gritted my teeths in anger. Damn it..
I sat there like a helpless lamb and she fell asleep after a while.

It had been three days ever since we brought her here back. No improvements at all.
At first I brought that it was the case of a memory loss but it ain't one.
She hasn't lost her memory. I peeked into her mind using my Sharingan and there I saw a barrier placed. That chakra barrier is preventing her mind to access any information.
That's the reason why she doesn't responds to anything. Because she doesn't understands anything.
But who did this to her??
Senju. Nah, I don't think so. Then those Hagoromo. Damn.
It was so hard to get her to do anything. She just doesn't trust anyone. She is afraid of all of us.
The sun rised approx an hour ago. I am now sitting besides the river side. Now I get it why she loves to be here.
"Aniki" a loud yell from Izuna made me turn and look at him.
I furrowed my brows in confusion as he ran towards me panicking. Getting on my feets immediately I asked him the reason.
"It's Shanaya" he said trying to catch his breath. My eyes widened at the mention of her name. "Shanaya. What happened to her?" I said shaking his shoulders roughly.
"She woke up and didn't saw you. But when she heard your name from Akasumi's mouth she started panicking and crying. None of us was all able to control her because as we try to get closer to her she starts screaming in fear. She kept on saying your name." He explained me the situation as we were on our way back to the house.
I barged in the compound and then in her room. Akasumi and Jenny both were there looking in a certain direction which was the little space in between the bed and the cupboard.
I gave them both a nod so they left. Their presence can complicate the situation more. I remembered perfectly Izuna telling me that she was calling out my name. So I should be the one to console her right now. Maybe she had builded a little trust about me in herself. After all I was the one who had taken care of her for the past days.
Closing the door behind me I walked up to the little space where she was hiding.
My chest contracted at the sight. She was sitting there sobbing, her knees upto her chest. Her arms around her legs as if trying to shield herself away from everyone. She hadn't even noticed my presence.
I kneeled infront of her and placed a hand on her cheek. Her head snapped in my direction at the contact. Her face held a confusing expression which confused me as well.
Her gaze tilted to my hand on her cheek. I didn't removed my hand wanting to witness her next move. And when she did my heart fluttered with happiness. She put her hand over mine and snuggled into my touch.
A smile appeared on my lips at her act. "Shanaya....you" I couldn't even form a sentence.
"You.." My attention snapped back to her at hearing her sweet voice.
"Yes Shanaya what? What me?" I said with hope.
"You are my Madara." My eyes widened at the sentence I just heard.
You are my Madara. You are my Madara.
My heart just exploded. It was beating so hard and fast that I was afraid that it will just come out of my chest.
"Tell me" her words gained my attention again.
"Tell you what?" I asked.
"Tell me that you're my Madara." She said in her low angelic voice. My expressions softened and I bumped my forehead against hers. "Yes I am. I am your Madara. Only yours." I said and she smiled closing her eyes. I too closed my eyes wanting to cherish the moment.
After a while we pulled away and I stared at her with my Sharingan. "Beautiful" she murmured looking in my eyes.
I smiled remembering our first meeting where she also regarded my eyes as beautiful. "Look into my eyes." I requested her and she granted me my wish.
She stared deep into my eyes and I used my eyes to invade her mind. The barrier was still there but there were faint images of me. I smiled seeing them.
Getting out of her head I smiled at her and she tilted her confusingly. Damn. She looked so adorable.
"What do you remember about me?" I asked with curiosity having hope in my eyes but it was quickly shattered. "Nothing".
The hope which was builded in me shattered quickly. "What do you mean nothing?" I said in a pained tone but I doubt that she could even notice it.
"I don't remember anything particularly about you. There are faint pieces in my head. But I know that I have knowned you. And-"
"And what Shanaya?" I asked.
"I don't know exactly what it means. It is just that it is something I wanted to say to you for very long but couldn't say. I don't know what it means though."
"And what is it?" I asked out of curiosity building within me.
"I love you." This sentence sounded so angelic and beautiful.
As soon as these words came out of her mouth the world around me stopped. Excitement and happiness build up in me.
She confessed.
She confessed that she loved me.
Even though she herself doesn't understands the meaning behind those words. But she had said it and that's enough for me.
So it concludes as she doesn't particularly remembers that who I am and her relationship with me. But she knows that I was a part of her life. As she said there are faint pieces of my memory in her head.
She doesn't remembers who I am but she do remembers that she used to know me and that she can trust me.
Well it is little, but for me it is more than enough. The fact that she trusts me now and will allow me to get closer to her is enough.
I will make her remember me.
I will not allow her to forget me that easily. I won't.
"I love you too Shanaya." Hearing my voice she looked at me innocently.
I picked her up and carried her to the bed. "Do you want to eat?" I asked her and she gave me a nod.
I opened the door and as for luck a maid was passing by. So I simply asked her to bring us the food.
"Open it" She opened her mouth and I fed her with a piece of sushi. For the very first time she is eating her food calmly without any worries clouding her mind.
I was about to pick another piece when her hand stopped me. I looked over to her only to find her staring at the chopsticks in my hands. Her fingers entwined within mine trying to take the chopsticks. Wanting to know her next move I let it go.
I taught her how to hold the chopstick. She learned it with quite difficulty but nevertheless she did. Picking up a piece of sushi she brought it near my lips.
Keeping my eyes on her I opened my mouth allowing her to feed me. Her innocent and adorable face not allowing me to turn my gaze away.
Her facial expression was that of a child who had just learned something extremely new and interesting. It was too entertaining to watch.
Slowly. Slowly. Taking slow steps I will bring her back to me.

I was in my office busy in as usual paperwork's. No matter what happens this paperwork just never ends.
I had shifted her with me in my room. It is more better this way.
Whatever happened that day was a result of sudden change in her memory. I guess that faint memories of me itched in her mind came out of the barrier. It happened when Akasumi take my name infront of her.
I had shown her images of her family using her phone and as expected she didn't remember them at all. Yes phone. I know a little bit how to operate it. She taught me that.
A knock on the door took my attention. "Come in" I commanded.
The door opened and my brother entered. "They have arrived."
Finally.
I stood up from my place and walked over to him. "Lets go" I said and we started walking towards the meeting hall.
So finally they have arrived.
I have been waiting for them.
