This main character was written the way she was because I tire of the good girl/bad girl cliches. I am extremely attached to Anastasia because she is the most complex character I've ever created and with that said, if there is any misogyny, I will hit you with that block.
Additionally, this book does focus on a very abusive relationship and extreme betrayal. There are chapters that are sad and some downright cruel. The themes in this book are dark, extremely uncomfortable to write at times. There is sex, abuse, graphic violence, swearing, and talk of drugs as well, so if you don't like that, it's best we don't engage. I would rather you read something happier instead of making yourself (and me) upset.
