Serena gave many hints to her crush on Ash which I think he understood! He finally broke out of his dense shell!

After the intense battle between Astrid and Gary, Gary stormed off in frustration leaving professor Sycamore and Astrid to collect the Lucarionite.
As Gary made it to the other side of Reflection cave he noticed a mysterious bunch of people dressed in all dark clothing enter the cave, but what intrigued Gary was that the group of strange people mentioned the Tower of Mastery. With that said Gary remembered that Sycamore and Astrid were back at the tower so he quietly followed the anonymous group.
Back in the Tower of Mastery, Astrid was losing her patience as Gurkinn wouldn't tell her where the Lucarionite was.
Astrid: I'm sorry Gurkinn, but I need the Lucarionite!
Gurkinn: I cannot do such a thing...That Lucarionite is very precious and I'm planning to give it to Korrina when she is ready for it.
Sycamore: Is there some kind of deal will can discuss?
Gurkinn: I'll accept no offers for the mega stone.
Astrid: But we must take it back to Steven for his research...
Korrina: Didn't you listen to my grandfather! He said he's not giving up the mega stone!
Astrid: How about we battle for it!
Korrina: Huh?!...A battle?!
Sycamore: Astrid calm down!....You're not going to battle Korrina. We'll just have to figure something out
Before anyone else could say anything, a loud banging noise was occurring on the other side of the front door.
Gurkinn: Who would dare make such a terrible noise here?!.
A few seconds past and the banging stopped which confused everyone, but then the door and the front wall around it was knocked down by a Drapion.
Seven figures covered by dark clothing slowly approached Astrid, Sycamore, Korrina and Gurkinn.
???: Grab the the two old men!
Sycamore: Me old?!...I'm not old...
???: Shut up and come quietly otherwise we'll knock this place down!
Korrina: You wouldn't dare! And you're not taking my grandpa!
???: Watch me!....Drapion use Sludge Bomb on that worthless statue!
Gurkinn: Not the statue!....Please!
The mysterious figure didn't care as everyone watched Drapion spit a large bomb of poison at the Lucario statute. Slowly, but costly the poison began to melt into the statute leaving a large open hole in the stomach of Lucario.
Gurkinn: No!....
Gurkinn dropped to his knees in disbelief as we watched his valuable statue slowly melt.
Sycamore: How could you! That statue holds rich history!
???: Who cares! Now tell me where the Lucarionite is!
Gurkinn didn't reply as he felt too devastated while his statue slowly decayed.
???: I'm going to start at the count of three and if you don't tell me where the mega stone is then I'll order my Drapion to attack the whole town!........Three!
Korrina: Grandpa!...
???: Two!
Sycamore: Gurkinn! Its either this tower which is your home or the mega stone!
???: One!....Drapion use Sludg-
Gurkinn: Okay!...I'll tell you..
???: Good!...Grunts surround the other three while I talk to the old man!
Grunt: Yes! Ma'am!
The grunts ran over to Gurkinn and forced him up onto his feet and dragged him over to their leader then surround the professor and the two girls.
???: Now tell me where this mega stone is!
Gurkinn tried to get a good look at the mysterious bunch of people, but the masks they were wearing covered their identity.
Gurkinn: Geosenge town....
???: What was that?... You're gonna have to speak up!
Gurkinn: G-Geosenge town!
???: Loud and clear! Grunts! Lets move out! We're on our way to Geosenge town!
Grunt: Right Ma'am!
The grunts left the professor and girls alone and followed their leader as they walked through the massive hole in the wall.
Korrina: Grandpa! Are you okay?!
She ran over to her grandfather and check him over for any injuries. Luckily he had none.
Gurkinn: Yes...I'm fine Korrina.
Sycamore: It looks like we have a bigger problem on our hands...
Astrid: Well I'm going to stop them then take the Lucarionite back to Steven myself.
Korrina: You can't!...The mega stone belongs to my grandpa!
Astrid: I have a mission to complete and I'm willing to take any risks or do anything to complete it. Now if you would excuse me I have some pathetic adults to deal with...
Astris stormed off after the mysterious evil group leaving Sycamore speechless. He looked over at Gurkinn who was devastated about losing the Lucarionite.
Gurkinn: Professor?... I can't persuade Astrid not to take the mega stone so please look after it...
Sycamore: I promise that once Steven has finished the analyzing and research I'll return the Lucarionite back to you.
Korrina: Thank you professor!
As the professor began to make his way over to Geosenge town, Gary came running through the massive gaping hole in the wall.
Gary: Professor?!...What happened?
Sycamore: Gary?...I thought you was done with this?
Gary: I was, but I walked past a strange group of people and they mentioned something about the Tower of Mastery. So I came running back to check up on you lot, but I guess I'm late...
Sycamore: You can still help!...Astrid is currently on her way to Geosenge town to stop the people who just charged in here demanding the Lucarionite.
Gary: I'll just get there before her.
With a confident smile invading his face. Gary pulled a Pokeball from his belt and and tossed it into the air. Pidgeot burst from out the Pokeball and majestically flew around the half melted Lucario statue.
Sycamore: Travel by air. Smart thinking! I think I'm going to stay here and watch Gurkinn.
Gary: Sounds good too me!
Sycamore: Be careful when approaching the strange people.
Gary nodded and jumped up onto Pidgeot's back and just before the large bird took off Korrina stopped Gary.
Korrina: Gary! Can I come too?...
Gary: Huh?....You want to come?
Gurkinn: Korrina... Are you sure you want to risk yourself?
Korrina: Of course grandpa! That mega stone belongs to us! One of us need to protect it!
Before Gurkinn could respond Korrina jumped up onto Pidgeot's back and sat behind Gary.
Gary: Don't worry Gurkin! Korrina will be safe! I promise!
Gurkinn: Just be careful you two.
The Kantonian nodded in agreement and instructed Pidgeot to take flight. From the ground Sycamore and Gurkinn watched the large bird fly off through the hole in the wall and into the dark evil night.
Over in Hoenn Ash and Serena had an eventful first day in Hoenn, but the two were dreaming about rather interesting things.
*Ash's Dream*
Ash: Greninja! Pikachu! Use Electro Shuriken!
Pikachu: Pika!
Greninja: Ninja!
Pikachu charged up a large orb of electricity on his tail while Greninja formed a rather large shuriken in his hand. In sync both Pikachu and Greninja launched their attacks towards their opponent, but when the attacks were travelling towards their opponent they suddenly combined into one mega Electro Shuriken!
Even though Ash was dreaming his opponent was blurred out, but the trainer ordered his Decidueye and Tyranitar to attack, but it was too late as the Electro Shuriken struck the two pokemon instantly knocking the two Pokemon out.
Ash: Great job Pikachu and Greninja! Since we've arrived back in Kalos from our journey in Alola our combo moves have been becoming more fluent and powerful the more we use them!
Pikachu: Pika!
Greninja: Gren!
The Kantonian born still couldn't see his opponent as he seemed to be blurred out for some reason, so Ash shook his opponent's hand and headed to the nearest Pokemon centre.
*Serena's Dream*
Serena: Kids! Dinner is ready!
At the speed of lighting two figures ran downstairs that belonged to a large three story house.
The names of the two children were Violet and Tai.
Tai had a personality just like his father, but with his mother's features. A bright sparky nine year old boy with Honey coloured hair and blue ocean eyes with tiny thunderbolts beneath his eyes. He had a dream to become Pokemon trainer just like his father.
While on the other hand Violet had her mums personality with her father's features instead. She had slightly longer hair then Serena and had the same hair color as her dad along with brown eyes. She was three years older than her brother making her thirteen meaning she has already started her journey.
Tai: When will daddy be home?
Serena: I'm sure he will be back in time for dinner.
Violet: He is the champion of Alola and Kalos so I wouldn't be surprised if he's defending his title right now.
Tai quickly ran into the living room and picked up the TV remote resting on the armrest that belonged to the main sofa. He began flicking through different channels until he spotted his father battling.
Tai: Mum! Violet! Dad is on TV!
Serena and Violent came charging into the living room and began watching their father battling.
Commentator: Ash Ketchum the champion of both Kalos and Alola has a healthy lead over his challenger. With three Pokemon remaining for the current champion as the challenger only has one left and it's pretty worn out!
Challenger: Lucario use Aura Sphere!
Lucario began to generate enough aura between its paw and fired the large blue orb of aura straight at Greninja, but no reaction from Ash as he carried on smiling as the attack approached Greninja. He waited until it was close enough to counter Aura Sphere.
Ash: Intercept it with Cut!
Greninja: Gren!
Two small blades formed within Greninja's webbed hands as he sliced clean through the Water Shuriken.
Ash: Use your speed! Aerial Ace!
Greninja's fists and feet began to glow a light white as he approached Lucario. One by one, punch by punch and kick by kick Greninja wasn't given Lucario a break.
Ash: Finish him off with Water Shuriken!
In sync both Ash and Greninja did the same actions. Greninja reached for his back where the large shuriken made its home and held it above his head. The once small shuriken grew in size which stunned everyone, but Serena and their children were use to seeing Ash-Greninja's Water Shuriken always changing shape and colour.
Ash: Let's go!
Greninja: Ninja!
Greninja launched the massive Water Shuriken at Lucario knocking the aura Pokemon back into the wall. The challenger looked stunned as Ash-Greninja landed in front of Ash. The challenger had no words as he looked behind him to see his partner Lucario fall from the wall.
*End Of Dream Stage*
Their dreams came to an end as they both quickly sat up in shock. Ash and Serena looked at each other in shock as they woke up at the same time as each other.
Serena noticed Ash was a little stressed and was sweating a lot around the face so she grabbed the bed quilt and began to rub the sweat of Ash's face.
Serena: You looked stressed...Did you have another dream like the last one?
Ash: Not just Greninja....Pikachu was there too.
Pikachu: Pika?...
Pikachu's ears began to twitch as he heard his trainer mention his name, so the electric mouse stood up from where it was sleeping on the bed and walked over to Ash and Serena.
Ash: I'm fine Pikachu...Just another strange dream..
Pikachu: Pika!
With confirmation from his trainer Pikachu was happy and went back to sleep, but Ash was concerned because he also thought it was strange to see Serena wake up the same time as him.
Ash: What was you dreaming about?
Serena: Huh?....What was I dreaming about?
She looked down and frowned. Serena didn't know if she should tell Ash or be honest.
Ash: If you're not comfortable with telling me its fine.
The Kantonian smiled as he laid back down and went back to sleep leaving Serena to think about her dream, but she felt lonely due to Ash's back facing her so she turned over so her back was facing him.
A few seconds later Serena felt something wrap around her. She realized that Ash had placed his arms around her waist to comfort her if she had any more dreams.
Pulling Serena in closer, Ash was able to place his chin on Serena's head and he comfortably fell back to sleep knowing Serena was safe in his arms.
Mallow and Lillie were currently using Serena's bedroom as she was away and the dorms still haven't been sorted within Sycamore High, but that didn't stop the two Alolians from talking.
Mallow: Why don't we do something tomorrow?
Lillie: I'd be glad to! But don't forget we promised Hau that we would explain why Pichu isn't with us anymore.
Mallow: That's easy work! Then we can go out and relax!....Anyway! When will you confess to Gary?
Lillie instantly turned off the lights and wrapped herself with the bed sheets hiding her bright red face from Mallow.

This chapter we go back to the past! Two weeks ago Ash proposes a fun battle in favour to entertain a small crowd in Lumiose city! Gary asks Lillie to battle alongside him, but not knowing what to do Gary lends Lillie one of his Pokemon to use!
Now back to present time and Hau has to explain to Delia about Pichu's departure! Later that day Hau runs into a mysterious Pokemon whole training for his gym battle against Grant with Rowlett!
