When we reach the compound, we all go inside, to get lunch, and to comprehend what we just found out.
We walk over to the table, after we get some food. I got a blueberry muffin, and a bowl of cereal. Uriah got the same thing. We only got the breakfast foods, becuase we skipped breakfast to go get our tests done.
"So how is training so far?" I ask Tobias.
"Um great." he replies, showing he is hiding something.
"Zeke?"
"Great." Zeke says.
We finish eating, and do what we are supposed to do after the aptitude tests, go into your house/apartment, straighten your room, making it look nice for your parents to see, every time they look past, or for a twin to see when you leave them.
I don't know if I should stay in Dauntless. I think I should go to Abnegation, just because I'm not good enough for Dauntless.
"Yes you are. You are the best person here. Better than Four. Better than Dad." he tells me. I must have been thinking out loud again.
"No I'm not. I had the Prior kid punch Four. Anthony hates me, and so does Kae. I don't have anybody but you, Zeke, and Mom." I tell him. "I no longer have dad since he died, so I only have three people that want me to stay Uri. I think I should leave."
Anthony POV
Me and Kae finish cleaning up all of our stuff, and decide to go to Uriah and Tris' apartment. We walk in, knowing that they keep the door unlocked. We go over to their room, where they are having an argument.
"I don't know if I should stay in Dauntless. I think I should go to Abnegation, just becuase I'm not good enough for Dauntless." Tris mutters under her breath. She was probably thinking out loud again.
"Yes you are. You are the best person here. Better than Four. Better than Dad." Uriah says, knowing his father was ranked best Dauntless out of them all.
"No I'm not. I had the Prior kid punch Four. Anthony hates me and so does Kae." we don't hate her. We love her like she is our sister, she is our second best friend, besides each other. "I don't have anybody but you, Zeke, and Mom. i no longer have Dad since he died, so I only have three people that want me to stay Uri. I think I should leave." She spits out, sounding like she is about to cry.
Me and Kae turn around, with our heads hung low, and walk out of their apartment. We don't even get in two steps, and their bedroom door opens. I turn around to look, and low and behold guess who's there. The one and only Tris.
"Did you guys just hear all of that?" she asks calmly, with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Um no." Kaelynne spits out before bursting into tears and running out, trying to cover her face with her hair, trying to pretend she not crying, but failing in the process.
"Yeah, no." I say with tears welling up in my eyes. I don't want my best friend to leave. I don't want her nor Uriah to leave. We have been best friends since we where kids, I don't want her to leave.
I run out the door, grabbing it before exiting, and slamming it shut.
Tris POV
They heard everything.
I would say, they where crying tears of joy, but Anthony is like me, an thinks out loud every once in awhile. Now I know how he feels.
I don't know whether or not I should leave. No idea, I guess I will think it over, through out the day.
Me and Uriah decide to bake a cake, Dauntless cake, knowing it might be our last time together. I'm pretty sure I'm going to chose Abnegation.
"If you go. I go." Uriah tells me.
"You know that you chose before me, the go in reverse alphabetical order." I tell him.
He sighs.
"Grab the cake pan." I tell him.
He gives me the pan, and I pour in the batter, then place it in the oven. When I close the oven door I sit up, and burst into tears.
"Uriah, I think I have to go." I tell him, while sobbing.
He pulls me into a tight hug, and starts crying too.
"I know. But I don't want you to." He tells me.
We then hear a knock at the door, then Percy walks in. Looking at me with wide eyes, then running away. I don't even go and close the door. I just stand there until I hear the timer go off, signaling us that we need to take out the cake.
I take it out, put it in the fridge, and go to my room. I finish cleaning my room, making my bed, and placing some knickknacks on my dresser, then sitting down at my desk, writing a letter to him, but I will only give it to him if I pick Abnegation.
Dear Uriah,
I'm sorry, I will be coming back. I promise, but don't tell anyone. I can't promise when, but I will sometime. I hope I didn't cause trouble. The only reason I didn't go back to Dauntless is because I know about Erudites plan, they are going to take control over Abnegation. I am going to fight from the inside. I know I will hate it there, that's a definite. I love you Uricorn. When I get back, you can call me Trissy again, it will make you better, I'll miss you.

I decide to go and eat dinner here for the last time, at least for awhile. I sit there holding back tears, I don't want to leave my friends, but Caleb told me Erudites plan.
When I get finished with dinner, I go back to the apartment, and just go to sleep.
The next day when I get up, I go take a shower. When I'm done, I put on a black bra-let with a black leather jacket with the writing "Dauntless" on the back, with some black jeans, and my black combat boots.
When I'm finished getting dressed, I see Uriah dressed and ready, in a white shirt, black leather jacket, black jeans, and some black athletic shoes.
He takes one look at me and pulls me into a hug, while I cry on his chest.
"Do you really have to leave?" he asks.
"Yes I do." I reply.
He walks out of the room, to go and get ready to get on the train, I put the letter on his pillow, under his comforter.
I run out of the apartment, ready to jump on the train. When I get on, I see Anthony, Kaelynne, and Uriah in there with me. The rest on the Dauntless are on the other cars.

We get to the ceremony, and they start the "Faction Before Blood" speech.
"Uriah Pedrad" I hear Marcus Eaton say.
He slices his hand, reaches over Abnegation, then to Dauntless, showing he is staying. All Dauntless cheer.
"Beatrice Predrad." I hesitate when standing up, hug Uriah, and go down to the bowls. I slice my hand, and put it over Abnegation, there I'm now a Stiff. I look up at Uriah, make eye contact, and wink.
I zone out for the rest of the ceremony.
As soon as it's over, I walk out, going to the erudite building, asking for a change. The lady tells me I need to fill out a form, then I'm okay.
I start filing it out.
When I'm finished, I watch the Dauntless get lectured about how they need to be quieter, in the lecture I see the train go by, so they will be there for another 20 minutes.
"There you go. Now you're switched from Abnegation to Dauntless. Congratulations." the lady tells me.
"Thank you." I say running away.
I stand hidden, I'm going to surprise Uriah. I am going to make sure that I get in the last car, nobody goes in that one, he wont know I'm there until it's time to jump off the roof.
Uriah POV
I can't believe she left. I miss her, I cant stop crying. When Amar is done with our lecture, we climb the pillars, and get on the train.
"Time to jump" I yell once we get to the compound.
I jump off the train onto the building, still in tears. Amar starts with his usual speech.
"Now who wants to jump first?" he asks.
"I do" Anthony says, and he jumps.
I go second, and get pulled off the net by Zeke.
"She left didn't she?" he asks
I look at him with tears in my eyes.
He looks away.
"Okay, Dauntless born, you will stay in your apartments, new Initiates with be in dorms." Zeke says.
I go back to my apartment, and sit down on my bed and read the letter she left for me. Crying in the process.
Then I hear a knock on my door.
"Hey"
Tris POV
When I jump off the train I hide where he cant find me just by looking around.
When An jumps, Uriah goes right after him, then Kaelynne, then the new initiates, Christina, Albert, and Peter.
Amar knows I'm there, and he looks at me and says "I'll stay up here until Max says you can come down." I nod.
Max looks a lot like me, I used to question that he was my dad, but I gave up after awhile.
After about 10 minutes, Amar tells me to jump, i just fall back pretending I'm in slow motion, until I hit the net. He pulls me off, and tells me to go to my apartment.
When I get in there I hear Uriah sobbing, probably reading my letter.
I go and knock on the door, and open it.
"Hey" I tell him. His eyes go wide. He engulfs me in a hug.
"I might not be here for long, I tricked the system, so they put me in as Dauntless and Abnegation. Max and Amar say that I'm trained well enough I just need to be here to fight two fights, shooting range contest, and the fear landscapes, Four says he'll train me in my landscapes." I tell him.
He nods.
