(Sarah's POV)
"Come with me now and no one gets hurt Sarah" A voice in my head said.
It was Mitchell. (The rogues/guy who wants Sarah name is now Mitchell)
I couldn't let my family, and friends die. After everything they helped me through, I couldn't let them down again. Although, I wouldn't mind Tannas or Rebecca getting hurt... I thought to myself.
I sighed. Three years of hiding from this bastard all for nothing.
"I'll go" I said.
Before anyone could speak I heard a growl from behind me, I thought it would be Jay...
To my surprise it was two people. I turn around to see my mother and sister both growling almost ready to shift.
"You've made the right choice" The rougue said darkly.
"Whatever" I said.
As I tried to take a step forward but, Jay's arms were already wrapped around my waist preventing me from moving.
"Over my dead body, understand?" He whispered into my ear.
This sent shivers down my back. How I loved when he held me.
Soon it would all be gone. I would be surounded by a bunch of rougues or maybe not? He'd probably kill me anyways.
I'd rather die then him hurt everyone else; I have to do this.
"Look Jay, you're going to have to let me leave. I mean it's not like I loved you or anything, we weren't seriously back together, just some fun.. that's all you are to me. Infact that's all you ever were to me. Just some Fun. Why do you think I left for three years and never looked back? Never once called you or told you what the situation was? Huh? Your stupid Jay, If you ever thought I seriously had any sort of feelings for you!" I fought the tears in my eyes as I said this.
This is the only way he'd let me go. But, he wasn't the only one I had to convince.
"YOU USED ME FOR FUN? I LOVED YOU WITH EVERYTHING I HAD. EVERYTHING. WHEN YOU LEFT I WAS A MESS UNTIL YOU CAME BACK! AND NOW YOUR TELLING ME NONE OF IT WAS EVEN REAL" Jay yelled.
He had tears in his eyes while, Michael and Jamie held him back.
I couldn't face him, so I turned to the other two people who I needed to piss off to leave.
"AND YOU TWO! I don't know why you both even bother with me. I mean, I never loved either of you. Your both useless to me. Especially you MOM! No wonder dad left you! He hated you, just like I hate you. You couldn't even raise your children. Not that I'm complaining though, you were never really a mother. I basically raised myself and look at me now" I smirked at her.
She had tears in her eyes, wasn't even looking directly at me.
I'm sorry mom, I thought.
"OH, LETS NOT FORGET THE PERFECT CASSANDRA. Why do you think I left three years ago? hmm? because, I was sick of everyone. Especially you Erica. Your more worthless then a penny. All you do is whore around and ask for attention" I pronounced every word with so much disgust it even sickened me.
Erica didn't have the same reaction as mom or Jay did.
"You think I'm going to be easy to fool? just like mom or Jay? Think again sister. I'm not letting you leave. Even If I have to fight all these wolves myself" She said gesturing to the twenty five wolves still at the edge of the forest ready to pounce on command.
"I'm with her on that one. You could have fooled everyone here except for us. We know you too well enough t-" Mason was saying until something struck him down.
Someone whimperd.. I turn to see Mason on the floor with Mitchell on top of him.
Mitchell had a firm hold on Mason's neck. Oh god he was going to kill Mason.
I didn't think I thought this as loud but, when I realized I did when I got a reply.
"Not on my watch" Erica says.
And before I can stop her she has Mitchell pinned down, and snaps at his jaw.
Before we knew it everyone was shifted, and attacking each other.
In 30 minutes Erica's friends arrived and helped with the battle. Time flew by, and I didn't even notice when it was all over well - almost.
Every single one of there wolves were dead, except one. Mitchell was still alive. Fuck.
"Your dead" were the only words I heard until I blacked out.
I knew those words were directed at me. I knew they were.
But I wasn't dieing because I was in physical pain. I wish I was dead though.
I opened my eyes to find Mitchell standing over Jay's lifeless body.
Just then, something in me snapped. I didn't fucking care about the non-stop pain I felt in my legs or throat. I could careless about anything in this moment. I started growling uncontrolably.
I lunged at Mitchell, not caring who was yelling at me.
I had him pinned down in a matter of seconds, my teeth sunk into his neck. I pulled and bit at his neck till it was no longer attached to his body. Fuck being civilized. There was no heartbeat coming from Mitchell's body. We were safe, for now.
Ignoring the looks I got from everyone else, I ran towards Jay's body.
I shifted back into human form and knelt down to his body.
I heard a faint heartbeat. He was still alive.
"Barely." my wolf said.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I basically yelled.
"Don't you feel his wolf slipping away?" She asked.
Then I listened carefully, and felt his soul weakening.
I felt three people behind me.
I turned to see a sad expression on all three faces, Erica, Eunice and Mom.
"Honey, we can heal him. Now let's hurry" My mom said.
Without thinking I got up, and ran into the house to get a knife.
We all cut our palms and held hands.
When the words came out of our mouths, you could feel the power around us.
"We call upon the elements to help us now" My mother said.
"Fire" I said.
"Water" Erica said.
"Earth" Eunice said.
"Wind" My mom said.
There was a ball of energy in the middle of the circle we formed around Jay.
"Heal this young wolf, this sad soul, this fighter. Death won't take him a day too soon and with that we ask your help" We all chanted.
Okay so were not your typical witches. We do come up with spells ourselves, but hey.. who said they had to ryhme.
The ball of energy went inside Jay and his breathing went even.
His heartbeat was back to normal, and I immidaitly bent over him.
He opened his eyes slowly, and I didnt even resist anymore.
I hugged him so tightly, that it took five people to take me off him.
We got him inside, and I was told I couldn't talk.
Why? probably because, I wouldn't have shut up.
I lay in the bed next to him, and held him close.
He was asleep, but I couldn't help but want him closer.
Why did I come back? it's all my fault.
I got up to make some medicine out of herbs when he grabbed my hand and whispered "Stay".
"Jay, I have to make you some healing medicine. I'll be back later okay?"
"No, stay. Please" He whisperes softly while pulling me back into his arms.
I groaned.
As much as I love being in his arms, he does need to heal.
"Mom, make Jay some medicine please?" I say through the mind link.
"It'll be ready in thirty minutes dear" was the responce I got back.
We lay on the bed for what seemed like hours but when I looked at the time, it showed only twenty minutes had past.
I didn't even notice when the tears rolled down my cheek.
I thought Jay was asleep before he brought his hand up to wipe away my tears.
"I love you Jay. Please get better" I whispered.
"I will. I love you too Sarah, forever" He said as he attempted to kiss me but failed since he was too weak to push himself up.
I lowered my head, and kissed him.
Our tongues were wrestling with each other until there was a soft knock on the door. Which caused us to pull apart.
My mom walked in holding a cup which I was guessing was the medicine?
"Here you go, help him drink this" My mother handed me the cup and walked out.
I helped Jay sit up straight, and he downed the cup.
"That was pretty disgusting" He said while sticking his tongue out.
"I know, but you need to get better. Oh you have to drink that every two hours if you wanna heal quickly" I say while smirking evilly.
"For fuck sakes, are you kidding me Sarah?" He groaned.
"Nope. Not kidding"
After talking for atleast an hour, he went back to sleep. I went downstairs, to find Erica making everyone food. She handed me a plate with enough food for four werewolves.
"This is for you and Jay to share. He needs the extra food" She explained while also handing me Jay's medicine.
I smiled weakly, nodded and whispered 'Thank you'.
I go upstairs to find Jay pacing the room. What was he doing up? walking? he should be in bed stupid idiot.
"Where did you go!?" Jay yells.
"To get you food and medicine" I say with an eyebrow raised.
"Oh"
"Why? What's wrong Jay?"
"I thought you left me again" He said while going to sit back on the bed.
I put the food and medicine down on the table. I walked towards him, and wrapped my hands around him. "I would never leave you, understand" I whispered into his ear.
He just nodded.
Eventually he finished the food, and drank his medicine.
We lay silently in each others arms, until we fell asleep.
