//Lucy POV//
---One Week Later---
Lucy was sitting at one of the table inside the guild. Drinking down a strawberry milkshake but her eyes were red from crying last night again...and to make things a bit worse. Juvia, being dense, had invited a singer to sing for the wizards in Fairy Tail but one of the songs that she was singing right now hit Lucy in the heart very hard and very bad.

Lucy wanted to cover her ears but she lets the song sink in...and she covers her eyes as she leans down to cover her face with her arms as she starts to cry.

Lucy was pouring down tears now...

Lucy clasp her hands to cover her ears and tones out everything...her mind drifting towards the last time she saw Lucifer at the train station. How he wouldn't move...wouldn't speak...he simply stood there in pain she had just caused him by her action-

Lucy finally had enough and gets up. And then starts to run...she leaves running from the guild...she ran past people...she ran past the streets that she remembered walking with Lucifer in...and finally stopped at the big tree at the park. The one where she and Lucifer pledge to stay together at...she slowly walks towards the tree and sits down. Finally alone...Lucy lets her emotion go out as she cries her eyes out and hugs her knees...Lucy felt so alone.
"Lucy Heartfilia?" Lucy heard a voice in front of her. But as she looks up-
"What-"Lucy's eyes widened when-
Bam!
She is knocked unconscious and falls to the floor knocked out...
//Lucifer POV//
"...Lucy..." Lucifer sat outside the abandon barn where he fought Edward in. He had slept outside on a roof last night...correction...he didn't get any sleep last night and when he arrived at the barn in the morning, he enters it. He picks up the broken boards and brushes the dust and wood off his bed. Then he lays down and curls up, hugging his knees and does nothing except feeling large amount of tears pore down his eyes.
"Lucifer Black?" Lucifer only moves his eyes to see Jellal standing by the barn's door and the hole on the wall beside it. "Can we talk?"
"..." Lucifer doesn't say anything but sits up and motioned Jellal in. In which Jellal did.
"...I'm here to inform you that the real reason I came was to retrieve you and bring you to the Magic Council for questioning." Jellal said with a sad tone. "You have the option of coming quietly or by force-?!"
"..." Lucifer had stood up, his eyes covered by his messy hair and walks up to Jellal with Shadow magic fuming in his fists. Jellal watched as Lucifer weakly swung his fist but with no effort in his attack. Jellal simply had to take one step back to dodge Lucifer's attack.
"Jellal, please don't hurt him!" Lucifer heard Erza's voice...he was about to look at the direction of her voice when-
BAM!
Lucifer eyes widen but made no sound when Jellal had punched him in the gut...Lucifer started to lose consciousness quickly...and he was knocked out.
//Erza POV//
"Jellal! You didn't need to do that!!" Erza shouted at her lover as he picks up Lucifer's unconscious body over his shoulder.
"I'm sorry...but I couldn't bear to see the sadness in his eyes. He...seemed so like me like before when I believed I couldn't be with you." Jellal explained. "I don't wish to see your friend to suffer like that."
"I...I understand." Erza lowered her head a bit. But feels Jellal raise her head with a hand on her chin.
"I promise to help him, Erza...but the mission comes first. I am still shocked that his mother..." Jellal stops and Erza looked at him concerned.
"What does his mother have to do with this?" Erza asked.
"You'll find out when we arrive at the council. Come on, the train is almost here so we need to hurry to get there." Jellal told her and Erza nods her head as they walk out the barn with Lucifer on Jellal's shoulder.
//Lucifer POV//
---3 Hours Later, Area Unknown---
"Arrgh..." Lucifer groan as he slowly woke up and feels the cold ground...he slowly stands up...not knowing where he was. Until he turns around to see a group of people standing at large sets of stair used for a court. Seeing the men and women...Lucifer understood that he was with the Magic Council now that he remembers about what happen with Jellal.
"Lucifer Black...we have been expecting you for quite some time." One of the councilors spoke up. "My name is Yajima...6th seat of the council..."
"What the hell do you want with me...?" Lucifer spoke with a dark tone, revealing anger, sadness and his pain all combine with his emotion.
"I apologized for the way you were brought here...it was my decision to ask Jellal to bring you by force if need be." Yajima said as he walks down the stairs towards Lucifer. "But on behave of Makarov...he asked me to get you."
"Hello, Lucifer." Lucifer turns around to see Makarov standing behind him.
"You..." Lucifer looks at both old men. "Why did you bring me here?"
"Well...I still remember the time when I thought I would die in that building with the other chairmen's. But I still had to fulfill a promise left to me." Yajima said.
"A promise?" Lucifer asked.
"Lucifer...I..." Yajima seemed to have a hard time saying it but then he spoke up. "I knew your mother, Lucifer."
"?!" Lucifer starts at him in shock. "W-What?! You're saying that you knew my mother...you knew my mother?!"
"Yes...she was one of our messengers in sending messages for us to guilds from the past." Yajima explained. "In fact...it's how she met your father...a guild master of a few members. They were trouble makers like Fairy Tail, am I right, Makarov?"
"Believe it." Makarov chuckled.
"W-What are you telling me this?" Lucifer asked, wanting to know the reason.
"She left the job but...a-hem...one day. I receive a letter...addressed to me with a recording in this." Yajima said and then pulls out a...tape recorder. "In her letter...she told me that she wanted me to pass down the recordings to you. When you were older, she said...I never heard from her again and I kept the recordings for when I managed to find you and give these to you. When Makarov spoke about you...I told him to tell me where you were."
"...My mother left this for me?" Lucifer looks at the tape recorder and slowly grabs it. His thumb was right on the play button and he accidently pressed it...
"H-Hello? Is this thing working? Hel-Oh, shit!" Lucifer recognized the voice...he couldn't forget THAT voice...it was his mother's voice. "Um...this is...well, my first recording before...um...This recording is for my son, Lucifer...Lucifer Creed. I wanted to leave this message before I...Lucifer...if you're listening to this. I want you to know that whatever happens to me...no matter how cruel I may have become. I want you to know that I love you. I needed to...um...protect you...I needed you safe but...your father and I. We have seen the horrors of a monster so powerful. A rare creature like your father and I are. Our magic is ancient. We hid from the world but the Chimera, as you might know by now, is a destructive force and I..."
"..." Lucifer could hear the sobbing of his mother through the recording.
"Your father knew we couldn't fight it and beat it...so he tried to drain its powers...it worked but it wouldn't put it down and he died and...and...oh, god...Michael, your father...my husband...I had to stop the creature before it attacked your sister and you. I put it down...got it moving to the lake...buried it into slumber but my powers were drain...and so is my emotions as I am...AHH! I can f-feel...I can't feel anymore...I can't feel sad...I barely feel anything now." There was a pause in her voice. "I know somewhere within me that I will protect you. I know I can protect my children...whether I feel love or pain or...Lucifer, I know that one day...you will hate me...or pity me. I want you to know that whatever burden I have placed you in. I just want you to know that I love you...I love Sateen...be a good brother...be a good man, have a family...all I want now...is for you and your sister to be happy-"
"Mom..." Lucifer could barely say her name...and when his mother spoke again. Her voice was different now...he could tell that all of her emotions were gone for what she said next.
"-I...I can't feel anymore...This is Mikasa Creed...signing off-"
"Mom! Mommy!" Lucifer could hear a little boy's voice in the background but then-
"Goodbye." It was the last thing he head from his mother and the tape stops. He feels tears pouring down his eyes and raised his hand and wipes it off.
"Your mother loved you, Lucifer. She would have wanted you to be happy with what you wanted most." Makarov spoke to him softly as Lucifer kneels down on the floor as he goes thinking about what he just heard.
"...I believed that I had to stay trapped with my guilt because I lost my mother because of the choices I made. I saw her crying in tears, begging me to not go. I thought I didn't deserve to be happy without protecting the town..." Lucifer grips his hands on his chest. "And my decision caused Lucy to leave..."
"Then stop worrying about that..." Makarov said. "What are you waiting for? Go to her...win back the woman you love again."
"...You're right..." Lucifer understood. But there is one thing he needed to do before going to Lucy. "Makarov...I wish to take your proposal you ask me 4 years ago."
"That a boy!" Makarov grins and takes out the stamp...
...Fairy Tail's guild mark was on the stamp...
