❝He can't even say his name without stuttering and shying away. He just sounds stupid all the time.❞

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

AS HE TRAVELED through the halls of school he stared at the floor rather then ahead.

Don't look anyone in the eyes.

He stared and listened to the taps of his shoes as they clicked lightly across the tile floor. His heart was beating fast as he then began to travel down the stairs. He was so close. So close to reaching his next class. His heart began to beat furiously as he knocked shoulders with people who were standing in his way or too close.

Don't touch me.

He continued down another narrow hall. He could hear students chattering away loudly near him.

Don't look anyone in the eyes.

He would rather be in his bedroom. Locked away forever.

Oomph!

He felt the impact of his lean body crash into a more buff and meaty body. The sound of his back pack skidding against the floor made him panic.

Don't look anyone in the eyes.

"Watch where you're going dumb ass!" A very deep and angry toned voice sounded out through the halls.

Don't look anyone in the eyes.

His body shrunk in nervousness.

"Stupid idiot can't even talk!" The voice shrieked.

He ignored the voice and walked over to grab his book bag from the floor.

"I want a damn apology!"

He stared at the floor still, his book bag now wrapped back around his shoulders. In fear, he raised his eyes to look at the stranger.

"I−I...u−u−um...I−I'm sor—I−"

"Idiot!" The stranger blasted and then turned around, stalking away.

He stood there dumbfounded. He needed to get out of there. Too many people. Way too many. They're watching. Stop watching. He felt small suddenly. His airway began to block up. He began to wheeze. Everyones watching. Stop watching. Stop watching.

Don't look anyone in the eyes.

It was too late for that.
