I stared at the board for a long time, wondering if the names would disappear the longer I stared at it....they didn't. I sighed deeply and started walking towards the stadium.
"Ruka!"
Someone grabbed my wrist and I gasped before stopping in my tracks. I turned around and saw Naruto staring at me, a worried look in his eyes.
"You don't have to do this you know" he pleaded "you can just stop right here."
I stared at him and didn't respond. Does he not think I can do this? I smiled and removed my wrist from his grip.
"Naruto, I...."
"Ruka of the Leaf!" Hayate called looking around "get down here!"
I frowned then gave Naruto one last smile before descending the staircase.
"YOU GOT THIS RUKA!" Ino yelled "GIVE THAT GUY A GOOD ASS KICKING!"
"GO RUKA!" Sakura yelled.
I exhaled deeply and stood in front of Kabuto, staring at him. He smirked and gave me a strange look I couldn't identify. Hayate stepped back and gave a small cough; I guess we start whenever. I looked over at Kabuto and realized he had disappeared. Great, I pulled out a Kunai and looked around, trying to see where he had disappeared to. I heard a small shuffling sound behind me and I leapt into the air as several Kunai flew past me and clattered to the ground.
I landed back on the ground and spun around as I kicked Kabuto hard in the stomach. He went flying back and landed on his feet as he glared at me. I glared back and noticed he was tightly holding a Kunai in his right hand as his left hand began to glow blue. I stared at the glowing blue hand, I don't know what that is, but I better not let it touch me. I charged towards Kabuto as he did the same. I began making hand signs.
"Ninja Style: Clone Jutsu!"
Two replicas of myself appeared and charged ahead of me as they engaged in battle with Kabuto. Kabuto stabbed one in the heart and hit the other one in the chest with his glowing blue palm. My clones eyes widened and it coughed up blood before disappearing.
What the....?
What did that Jutsu do? Kabuto raced towards me and threw his Kunai at me as I easily deflected it. He then thrust his glowing palm towards me, and remembering what happen to my clone, I dodged it and pulled a Shuriken from my pouch as I threw it towards him. He dodged it but grazed his arm in the process. He's quick. I bit my lip hard as I thought of a good strategy, in order to get a good and direct hit on him I would have to pin him down somehow.
I exhaled deeply and pulled out some Chakra string from my weapons pouch. I remember Kakashi Sensei gave us all a coil of this string, apparently it's really hard to break. I took ten Shuriken from my pouch and began tying the string to them tightly. Kabuto raced towards me and I put the string away as I made hand signs.
"Water Style: Water dragon Jutsu!"
A dragon made entirely of water appeared and sent a blast of boiling hot water at Kabuto who began to dodge it. As he did so, I ran around him and threw a Shuriken with the piece of string attached at him. He of course dodged it and the Shuriken stuck into the wal like I wanted. I then ran behind him and threw another Shuriken as it attached to the wall. As Kabuto tried to escape the Chakra strings prevented him from doing so. He turned and glared at me as I internally grinned. He's stuck.
"WAY TO GO RUKA!" Sakura yelled "FINISH HIM OFF!"
"YES RUKA" I heard Lee and Guy Sensei scream "SHOW HIM THE POWER OF YOUTH!"
Oh my goodness.....
I began making hand signs as Kabuto tried to find a way to free himself from the Chakra strings.
"Water Style: Rope imprisonment Jutsu!"
A long coil of rope, made entirely of water, appeared beside me and lunged forward before wrapping itself around Kabuto's neck. Kabuto gasped for air and tried to claw the rope away from his neck but it reminded firmly in place as the water began to get hotter and hotter, burning his skin. Kabuto swore angrily as his hands began glowing green and he held them up to his burned neck, healing it. So he's a medical ninja. I frowned, that complicated things. Kabuto began making hand signs as the rope around his neck tightened even more.
"Ninja Style: Scapel Jutsu!"
Kabuto's began glowing a insanely bright blue and he cut the rope off of his neck with ease. My eyes widened in surprise and I simply watched as Kabuto cut the Chakra strings with ease, freeing himself. Kabuto leapt from his imprisonment and charged towards me, making more hand signs.
"Ninja Style: Clone Jutsu!"
Another replica of Kabuto appeared and one had both of its hands glowing blue, as the other held Kunai in both hands. I cursed silently and spun to the side as the Kunai were thrown at me. However, Kabuto hit me hard in the chest with his glowing palm and I winced as I leapt away from him. He smirked and made his clone disappear as he stared at me.
What is he waiting for, what did that glowing thing do?
I winced again and then started coughing as I burning feeling appeared in my chest. I started gagging and dropped to my knees as I began coughing up blood. Everyone gasped and I winced again as I clutched my chest.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER TEME?!" Naruto said angrily as Sakura held him back to prevent him from jumping over the railing.
Kabuto smirked and adjusted his glasses as I slowly stood up, clutching my burning chest.
"Oh Ruka" Kabuto teased "you shouldn't have let that touch you. Now how will you defended yourself against my attacks?"
My eyes widened as his palm glowed blue again and he raced towards me. Before I could react, he hit me on the chest where my heart should be and I coughed up blood. He then punched me hard in the stomach as I slammed into the concrete wall and slumped to the ground.
Damn it....
I winced in pain and threw up blood as my breathing became difficult. I heard Naruto growl angrily and he began yelling but I couldn't hear what he was saying. Black dots began clouding my vision as my eyelids started to droop.
'No!' Kinase said angrily 'we will not lose to that white haired basterd! Get up!'
I nodded and began to slowly get up as Kabuto shook his head in disappointment.
"Are you kidding me" he said laughing "how foolish! Do you want me to kill you?!"
I glared at him and didn't respond. He threw a Kunai at me and using as much strength as I could I dodged it. Kabuto's lips curled up in a sinister smile and be began to laugh again.
"This is priceless" he exclaimed, his eyes looking slightly deranged "you actually believe you can beat me?!"
"LEAVE HER ALONE YOU BASTERD!!!" Naruto yelled, his eyes flashing red momentarily as Kakashi Sensei helped Sakura keep him at bay.
Kabuto disappeared then reappeared in front of me before grabbing me by my neck and flinging me into the wall. Everyone gasped and I winced in pain as I clutched my head which was now bleeding.
"What makes you think you can beat me?!" Kabuto said smirking "you're weak!"
I turned towards him and glared angrily. I stood up, ignoring the pain radiating throughout my entire body as I clenched my hands tightly into fist.
"You know Kabuto" I said as everyone fell silent to listen "I've been called weak all my life, that's nothing new."
I clenched my fist tighter as my nail dug into my palm and drew blood.
"However" I said my eyes glaring at him furiously "I swore to myself that I would never give up! That I would keep on fighting until the day I die so I can protect the people I love! Because...."
I stopped for a minute and looked up at Naruto who was staring at me with wide eyes. I grinned slightly and turned back towards Kabuto.
"That is my Ninja Way! So the only way you will win this match.....IS IF YOU SEND ME OUT IN A BODY BAG!"
Everyone gasped in surprise as Naruto continued to stare at me in shock and Kabuto smirked evilly.
"So be it" he said, his hands began glowing blue.
I exhaled deeply and glanced up at the ceiling, gulping nervously. I swore to myself I would never do this but....I have to break that rule, just this once.
'Kinase, please give me your Chakra.'
She was silent for a minute then she yelped in surprise.
'Seriously?!' She said in disbelief
'Seriously' I replied.
'ALL RIGHT! LETS FUCK THIS GUY UP!'
I smiled and Kabuto charged towards me. I felt a sharp tugging feeling in my gut and then everything went black.
~Third Person POV~
Naruto tightly gripped the railing as he watched Ruka stand there, not doing anything. What is she doing, why isn't she fighting?! Kabuto charged towards Ruka and Naruto's eyes widened.
"LOOK OUT!" Sakura yelled her eyes wide.
BAM!!
Everyone gasped as an invisible force hit Kabuto and sent him flying back. Everyone turned towards Ruka and watched in astonishment as golden Chakra began to swirl around her.
"Golden Chakra!" Lord Hokage said in disbelief "could that be....?"
"Her demon?" Kakashi Sensei muttered to himself.
The golden Chakra contiuned swirling around Ruka, getting faster and faster. The multiple cuts and bruises on Ruka's body began to heal themselves and she slowly looked up.
Her eyes!
They looked diffrent! Instead of the usual gold everyone was expected to see her eyes were now deep red.
"Finally!" Ruka said happily "about time she let me take over, it's so cramped in there!"
Confusion swirled around everyone and Naruto frowned slightly. What is she talking about, what's so cramped? Ruka's happiness suddenly disappeared and she glared at Kabuto angrily.
"I won't lose to you" she said furiously.
The golden Chakra swirling around Ruka shaped itself into a fist and Kabuto gasped. The fist raced towards him and slammed hard into the ground. The ground began to crack under the pressure as water gushed out from the cracks. The Chakra fist picked up a large chunk of the ground and flung it towards Kabuto. Kabuto dodged the cement and turned just as Ruka appeared in front of him and punched him hard in the face. Kabuto went flying into the wall and slammed into it as he coughed up blood. Ruka began making hand signs as Kabuto slowly stood back up.
"Water Style: Water Tsunami Jutsu!"
A giant wave of water appeared from nowhere as everyone stared at it transfixed.
"Impossible" Lord Hokage said to himself.
He hadn't seen anyone be able to conjure up that much water without a nearby source since the Second Hokage! The wave crashed hard into Kabuto as he began to choke and Ruka made more hand signs.
"Lightning Style: lightning wave Jutsu!"
A crackle of lightning struck the Tsunami as it electrified Kabuto who screamed in pain. Ruka smirked and snapped her fingers as the wave suddenly disappeared. Orochimaru stared down at the battle through his disguise and licked his lips.
"Mm" he said "it would seem I forgot to mark you little one. Maybe next time."
Orochimaru disappeared as Naruto stared down at the battle with wide eyes. Is she going to kill him?! Ruka began walking towards Kabuto who was lying on the ground twitching. She grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and held him close to her face as he gasped.
"I told you" she said simply "I wouldn't lose to you."
She infused her fist with the golden Chakra and started to swig it towards Kabuto's face when....
"STOP!"
~Ruka's POV~
"STOP!"
My eyes widened and I felt another sharp pain in my gut. The golden Chakra suddenly disappeared and my eyes turned back to their usual gold as I dropped Kabuto. I felt someone embrace me from behind and I gasped as I remained completely still.
"Don't kill him Ruka" Naruto said in my ear "that's not you! That's not who you are!"
His arms got tighter around my waist and I felt myself blush. I looked around at the damage I had made in disbelief. There were puddles of water everywhere, the ground was cracked with cement lying everywhere, and Kabuto was on the ground unconscious.
I felt tears start to brim my eyes and then a wave of emotions hit me. I began sobbing and I spun around in Naruto's arms as I cried into his shoulder. He held me tightly and stroked my hair as he whispered soothingly in my ear.
"The winner *cough* is Ruka of the Leaf" Hayate said quietly.
However no one was listening, they were all to busy staring at the damage that had been made. Eventually, I cried myself to sleep, still being tightly held in Naruto's arms.

Me: Whew! That was long! Hey guys, that's the end of a very long chapter.62 and I hope you enjoyed it!
Sakura: That was intense!
Me: Yeah it was, I enjoyed writing it too!
Naruto: .....
Me: Anyways this chapter like I said was longer than usual and I was confused while writing it so I hope it turned out ok.
