I searched for Naruto desperately, making sure to look around every corner to see what that ninja could have possibly done with him. Naruto; I anxiously bit my lip; please be okay!
"MMPH!"
I jumped slightly at the muffled voice and hesitantly walked towards it with my Kunai out; I was relieved to see Naruto tied to a tree with a gag in his mouth. His eyes turned in my direction and the anger in them melted into happiness as he struggled against the rope.
"MM!" He yelled as I shushed him "MMPH! MMPH! MMPH!"
"Naruto" I whispered standing next to him "you have to be quiet! There are other people in this forest!"
Naruto stared at me for a long time then nodded and stopped shouting. I sighed in relief and took the gag out of his mouth as I started to cut the rope. Once he was completely free, he rubbed his red wrist and smiled at me.
"Thanks Ruka" he said huffing angrily "geez! What does a guy have to do to take a piss in peace in this place?!"
I blinked. My mind was working rapidly to interpret the sentence he just said.

I rubbed my temples confused. To many p's.
"Come on" I said firmly holding my Kunai "we have to get back to Sasuke and Sakura."
Naruto nodded, and we jumped into the treetops to meet back up with our teammates. Once there we saw Sasuke and Sakura searching their surroundings so we landed beside them.
"Good" Sakura said smiling "you found the baka!"
Naruto sweat dropped and Sasuke gave his signature 'hn' before turning towards me.
"Do you still have the scroll" he asked.
I reached into my weapons pouch and touched the scroll next to my Shuriken. I nodded and Sasuke sighed in relief; I couldn't help but frown. He didn't even ask if I was ok....he just cared about the scroll. I quickly made the frown disappear from my face when I noticed Sasuke was staring at me. As Sakura was busying fussing at Naruto for getting caught, Sasuke came over to me and whispered in my ear.
"I'm glad you're ok too" he said in my ear "I don't want anything to happen to you."
My heart leapt in my chest and I blushed a deep red as Sasuke smirked and walked back towards where he had been originally standing. Sasuke....
"Ok" he said causing me to snap from my daze and Sakura to stop fussing "we obviously need a password so something like this won't happen again."
We all nodded and sat in a circle as Sasuke thought for a moment.
"So" he said slowly "if we get seperated I'll ask you this question:
'When is the best time for a ninja to strike?'
You'll then respond with:
'A ninja strikes in the dark of night. When the water is calm and the rooster won't crow. That is when a ninja will strike.'
Got that?"
We all nodded but I noticed Naruto was sweating nervously. Did he not get that? I shook my head, oh Naruto.
"Can you repeat that" Naruto asked, frowning slightly.
"No."
Naruto gulped nervously then smiled and tried to play it off.
"I was just yanking your chain" he said chuckling "I remember all of that!"
Sasuke nodded and we all stood up as he dusted off his shirt and looked around for a bit.
"Now let's get going" he declared.
Before we could get far, I heard a crashing sound from afar and stopped in my tracks. What is that; I peered into the trees looking for the source of the noise as Sakura turned towards me.
"What's wrong Ruka" she asked, standing next to me.
"N-Nothing" I said slowly "I just thought I hea-"
BAM!!
I giant gust of wind appeared out of nowhere and blew us all in different directions. Naruto flew up into the air and out of sight. Sasuke and Sakura flew into each other and landed in a puddle of water, and I slammed hard into a tree. I groaned in pain and coughed up blood as I slumped against the base of the tree.
My back....
'Ruka!' Kinase yelled alarmed.
"RUKA!" Sakura yelled running towards me.
She knelt by my side and slung one of my arms over her shoulders as she helped me stand up.
"I-I'm fine Sakura" I said wiping the blood from my mouth "I just hurt my back is all."
Sakura nodded and reluctantly let go of me as Sasuke came over to us, ringing the water out of his shirt.
"Are you guys ok" he asked, taking out a Kunai and standing in front of us.
"Yeah" I said "we're fine."
There was a rustling sound and we all raised our Kunai's to see Naruto come out from behind a tree.
"Naruto!" Sakura said in relief.
Naruto smiled and started to walk closer but stopped when Sasuke yelled at him.
"Wait! First repeat the password!"
Naruto smiled, "easy! A ninja strikes in the dark of night. When the water is calm and the rooster won't crow. That is when a ninja will strike."
W-What, another imposter?! I growled angrily and gripped my Kunai tightly. Why do they keep imposing as Naruto?! Sasuke smirked and threw the Kunai at the imposter who dodged it gracefully.
"Sasuke-kun" Sakura said "he got it right!"
"I know" Sasuke said "I picked that password because I knew the three of us would remember it but Naruto wouldn't. You have to think ahead."
The imposter smirked and revealed himself to be the same ninja that had returned Anko's Kunai with her tongue. Now that I think about it, that was the same ninja that sat on the other side of me during the exams! Why do I keep seeing her?! I glared at the ninja angrily as she smirked.
"Good job Sasuke" she teased "how clever you are."
"What do you want?!" Sasuke asked angrily.
"Oh....not much" the ninja said simply "just a fight if you don't mind."
Sasuke shook his head angrily and started to back up, making sure we were behind him. The ninja noticed this and laughed deeply.
"Don't you want this Sasuke?"
The ninja held up an Earth scroll, causing Sasuke to stop in his tracks and exhal deeply. He got a look in his eyes that I knew all to well. He wanted that scroll....badly.
"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura whimpered, gripping his arm "Ruka is hurt and to top that off we don't even know where Naruto is! We should go!"
Sasuke ignored her and contiuned staring at the ninja. The ninja smiled, knowing she had already succeeded.
"Well then" she said slowly, her voice chilling and cold "come and get it....Sasuke-kun."
A large tongue, similar to that of a snakes, shot out from the women's mouth and wrapped around the scroll. Very slowly, she began to swallow the scroll whole as we watched, horrified. Once she had finished she smiled evilly and began making hand signs.
"Ninja Art: Death Paralysis Jutsu!"
A feeling of nauseous overcome me as I slowly watched a vision of the ninja pulling out Kunai, I watched, with wide eyes, as the ninja threw the Kunai and it lodged itself deep in my skull. I screamed and dropped to my knees as the vision ended and I saw Sakura had done the same.
Sasuke however had remained standing even though he had seen the same vision. I....I can't move! I watched as the ninja really did pull out three Kunai and smirk. Why can't I move?! I willed my hand to start moving towards my weapons pouch and it slowly did so.
"Now that you know how you will die" the ninja said slowly "I can guarantee you, that Uzamaki boy will meet a more bloody death."
The ninja began to laugh and my eyes widened. Anger bubbled in my chest and my hand dug into my pouch as I pulled out a Kunai.
"Don't....you....dare....touch....him!"
The ninja stared at the Kunai in my hand and smirked and licked at her lips; a hungry gleam in her eyes.
"You're paralyzed" she said "what will you do with that?!"
I smiled, then without hesitation plunged the Kunai into my arm. Pain engulfed me as I felt the paralyzed state leave me. The ninjas eyes widened and she threw the Kunai towards us. I gasped and I felt somebody grab me before hopping off. We landed on a branch a good distance away and I saw Sasuke panting heavily as he put Sakura and I down then leaned against the tree. I looked at him and noticed he had a bloody Kunai in his hand and his leg was bleeding heavily. He must have done the same thing I did.
"Sasuke!" I said, pulling ointment and a bandage from my pouch "you stabbed yourself to hard!"
I dressed his wounds as Sakura slowly recovered from her paralyzed state and sat up, panting heavily. After I was done healing Sasuke, I healed myself and applied the bandage before putting my resources away. There, that should do for now. Sakura's eyes widened and she stared at something behind Sasuke.
"SASUKE-Mmph!" Sakura began to scream, but Sasuke covered her mouth with his hand and told her to shut up.
I looked behind Sasuke and saw a giant snake glaring down at us. I screamed and Sasuke covered my mouth as well.
"What is wrong with you two?!" He said angrily "do you want that ninja to find us again?!"
I contiuned screaming behind his hand as the snake flicked it's tongue and got closer. Sasuke, turn around! Deciding to take matters in my own hands, I bit Sasuke's hand as hard as I could.
"Ow" he said removing his hand from my mouth and glaring at me.
"SNAKE!"
Sasuke turned around and his eyes widened as it lunged at us. We all hurriedly stood up and jumped to a different branch as we took out Kunai's. How are we going to fight that thing?! The ninja appeared on top of the snake and smirked down at us with her arms crossed.
"Did you think it would be that easy" she said "THINK AGAIN!"
She began making hand signs as the bottom half of her body transformed into a snake and she began slithering towards us, laughing evilly. My eyes widened as she took out Shuriken and threw them at us. The Shuriken were suddenly deflected out of the air and we turned towards the person who had saved us. I couldn't help but sigh in relief and felt my eyes start to water.
That knuckle head ninja finally showed up!
"Don't cry Ruka!" Naruto said smiling "I'll protect you! Oh, and Sasuke about that password....I forgot it!"

Me: *Smiles* I know
Ruka: HA! UZAMAKI! GOT YOU!
Naruto: *Yelps* W-What did I do?!
Ruka: I KNOW WHAT JE T'AIME MEANS!
Naruto: Crap! *Runs*
Ruka: *Chases him* HOW DARE YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME! THAT PLAYS WITH MY EMOTIONS DAMN IT!
