"Finn, I think it's better if we take a break" those words replay in my head. It's not the words that affected me but the way she said it. She had told me so suddenly. She said it with pain in her eyes, she said it while crying. When she announced it, my world crashed in pieces. We were so in love that I had never expected to hear those words-not from her at least. She used to be the type of girl that was quiet, shy, didn't speak of what's on her mind because she was afraid of people judging her. But after I met her, she changed. She become this outgoing, fun girl. Even though she changed, I still loved the two sides of her. However, I will never be able to see her two sides anymore because she left. She left without a reason. She left me without even letting me know of my mistakes. I wondered for days the reason that she had left me until I finally gave up. I had to realize that the girl that I had learned to love left. I will never be able to wake up beside her anymore or hug her from behind when she makes our tea. I will never hear those three words that melted my heart or have my heart broken when she tells me she is leaving on a business trip. None of those events will ever feel the same way with anyone else because Y/N won't be there to share it with me. My love for Y/N will never change. I will not be able to love anyone the same way that I loved her because there was only one Y/N. Days and no phone calls later, I realized that she wasn't coming back anytime soon. I decided to be social, I went out and did stuff that I rarely did in Y/N presence. I went out to the pub and drank until I was drunk. I went to clubs and dance with random strangers. I started drinking as a hobby. I wasn't in my twin's videos anymore.I was ruining myself. Without Y/N, there wasn't a Finn. Two months later, I went out to the mall because I really needed to get new clothes. I walked around the mall but nothing pleased me. I wished that Y/N would have been there to help me pick out my clothes because she always knew what looked good on me. She was the one who had bought my mufFinn shirt. By chance I spotted Y/N sitting alone on the bench. I took my chance and walked towards her.
"Y/N" I asked
"Finn!" She looked shock, "I...I have to go."
She started to get up but I grabbed her wrist and spun her around.
"Let go of me Finn." she demanded
"Or what?" I asked with anger
"Or I will call the cops." A male voice came from behind me.
The guy who I recognized as one of Y/N friend came around her and put his arm around her waist.
"Is this the bloke that your dad made you break up with for?" he asked
"Your- your dad?" I asked her
"yes." I saw the same pain in her eyes. The same pain that she had in them when she told me about the break up.
"I-I have to go." I ran away, towards my car. As I ran, I heard her scream that she was sorry but I couldn't register it. I knew her dad hated me but I didn't know he would hate me so much to make her break up with me for her guy friend.
It was at the moment that I sat in the car that I realized if Y/N had moved on then I should as well.
