Based on Tay Swift and Ed Sheeran's song Everything has changed ♥ Another Jack Harries imagine...Hope you enjoy it!

I remember the day I met him as if it was eighteen hours ago. However, it has now been 12 years. A lot has changed in these twelve years but he hasn’t. July 25th was the day that I had decided to check out the new café around the corner of the building that I was living in. I noticed every single detail of the beautiful café but something stood out from all of it- a boy. His gorgeous green eyes starred in mine as I walked in the café. He held the door for me and we exchanged hellos. He had given me a smile that made my heart melt. I had barely noticed his name tag; Jack was his name. I didn’t think that a name would change everything. I ordered my coffee and went home. However, his green eyes and his smile never left the back of mind. I thought about him for eighteen hours before heading back to the same café. I wanted to know more about this mysterious boy who seemed so kind. I was disappointed to arrive at the café and not be greeted by him. Nevertheless, there was a boy drinking tea that looked similar to him. My hopes suddenly had gotten higher.  As I had gotten closer, I noticed that the boy’s eyes were different and his name tag was written Finn. In a mere second, my hopes were crashed.

“Could I help you?” Finn asked in a similar voice to Jack

“Sorry, I thought you were someone else that I met this morning. Sorry for disturbing you.”

“Do you mean Jack?” he asked

“I think so.”

“I’ll go get him, he’s in the kitchen.”

“Actually, this is a pretty stupid idea. I shouldn’t have come here to make a fool of myself. He doesn’t even know me.”

“Don’t tell Jack that I told you this but he noticed you this morning. He didn’t stop talking about your eyes during lunch break.”

I had felt my cheeks blush when Finn had said that comment. I couldn’t help but think that maybe I had a chance with him.

“Take a seat and I’ll get you guys some tea.”

“But-”I was going to tell him that I was too shy and scared to meet him but he had left before I had the chance to tell him. While Finn was gone to get Jack, I asked myself how I would talk to him. All he had said was hello. I didn’t even know him. I started to play with the napkin that Finn had left on the table; this was something that I always used to do when I got nervous. I was too busy paying attention to the fine carving of the table that I hadn’t notice Jack walk up to the table.

“Hello,” he said shyly

I looked up to meet the same beautiful green eyes. I tried to speak but I was speechless.

“Hi” I finally breathed out

Jack sat down in front of me and began to talk about his family’s business and the new café that they opened. The way he spoke was so fluent that it made me get lost in his words. He spoke with so much passion and love. After speaking with him, I knew that we would be great friends.

“My name is Y/N by the way.” I told him before leaving the door

I got home and went straight to bed. As I lay in my bed surrounded by blue painted walls, I thought how I would take them down and open the door for him whenever he would want someone to talk to. I only knew him for a day but it felt like ages. As I lay in my bed, I felt butterflies in my stomach. The kind that made me wants to know you better. For the next week, I went back to the coffee shop as a regular customer. However, he wasn’t there, nor was his brother. I asked other workers if they knew where he went but they didn’t have a clue. I stopped going for a while but my love for him grew stronger. One night at the beginning of September when the cool nights happened sooner, I went back to the café in hope to see him again. I sat at the same spot that we had spoken last. I waited and waited until a figure stood in front of me. I looked up and saw his smile; the smile that made my stop speaking.

“Y/N,” he stated

“Jack,” I giggled

“You look lovely today.” He sat down in front of me.

“So do you,” I replied

“You’re lying, I smell like coffee threw up on me.”

“Well I wasn’t going to admit it.” I winked

I didn’t know where this new found confidence came from but when I was around him, I felt like a different person.

“Where did you go?” I asked him

“I was in America visiting friends.”

“For a whole month?”

“Well I had to do some work there, I didn’t tell you last time but I kind of make videos on YouTube.”

For the first time since I met him, I didn’t know what to say.

“Can I show you something?” he asked

“Sure,” he took my hand and dragged me upstairs to a rooftop. This rooftop had flowers and small trees in pots everywhere; it had a small fountain in the middle and benches that looked out to the beautiful city.

“Whoa.” I breathed out

I followed him towards a bench that looked out towards the London Eye. We sat there staring at the city for a long time until he finally spoke.

“Since the first time I saw you, I fell in love with your eyes. Your voice made my heart skip a beat. However, you left so quickly that I didn’t even have a chance to introduce myself. I couldn’t help but brag to Finn about this gorgeous girl that I had met that day. I was glad to hear that you had come back to see me because to be honest, you had been on my mind for the whole day. My friends say true love doesn’t exist but I always believe in it. Our conversations that we had made me believe even more in true love. I hadn’t planned to leave you so soon without any warning but as soon as I got home, my parents told me that YouTube was holding a press conference and they wanted me in LA for a month. I quickly packed my bags and left. Even though I left, the memories of you never did. I didn’t know you too well but I missed you more than my family. I can finally say that I did find my true love and it’s you.”

The next moment had happened so quickly, he leaned in and kissed me. I felt the rain pour down on us as I kissed him back.  Some people would say that this happened to quickly but all I know is that I found a new grace and everything has changed.
