Peyton's POV
It's been 8 months since we lost the farm. Daddy says it's winter time.. That's why it's soooo cold. Daddy gives me his angel wing vest to sleep with because daddy doesn't get that cold.
Lori got fat! Daddy says she's not fat she's pregnant and there's a baby inside her. How did that even happen?! I asked daddy and he said he had to go for an "emergency".
Did Lori eat the baby? Me and Carl don't get it and no one will tell us. Apparently the baby is gonna come out any day now. Weird.
Carl gets to have a little brother or sister. Sucks for him. I would hate having to share my daddy. My daddy is my daddy.. And only my daddy.
Rick is our official leader now! He yelled at everyone the night we lost our farm. It was funny. Not for them though. People are funny when they're mad. I always laugh at daddy when he's mad... It just makes him even madder.
We haven't found uncle Merle yet. That still makes me sad. I miss him so much. Daddy never found him. I have dreams sometimes that he comes back! I also have nightmares that daddy and I find him as a walker. Daddy's always there though and holds me till I go back to sleep again. He says he gets the dreams too.
We just stopped after being chased by a herd of walkers when we stopped at a house. Daddy found a motorcycle and traded it for the truck. Daddy says it has something to do with gas.
I ride in front of daddy and when he holds the handle bars it makes a cage type thingy so I don't fall.
"C'mon.. Let's go huntin' while everyone else washes their panties" daddy says to Rick. I run up and grab daddy's hand "I wanna go"
Daddy nods and we walk towards the wood, Rick following. Rick doesn't know how to hunt. He walks very loudly. Daddy gives him a few glares but he doesn't notice.
"Rick you gotta walk quieter dummy!" I yell at him. He looks up at me in shock before laughing. Why does no one take me seriously?! I'm like 6 1/2! That's a serious age. I'm like almost a big kid.
"Daddy! Tell him!" I say. Daddy just smirks and shakes his head. I pull on daddy's hand and glare at him. He just ruffles my hair.
I huff and stomp behind daddy while he's still holding my hand. No point in being quiet.
"Thought you told me to walk quiet?" Rick says from behind me. He has a stupid smirk on his face.
"I'm being like you" I snap at him.
Rick laughs and comes up behind me, throwing me into the air causing me to squeal. He catches me and tickles my sides. "You're a lil rascal you know that?" Rick says.
"Daddy!" I squeal in between laughs. I hate it when people tickle me! I can't breathe! I hate it.
"Your daddy can't save you" Rick laughs and poked at my sides more.
"Rick stopppp" I groan.
"Hey look" I hear daddy say. Rick stops tickling me but doesn't put me down. He carries me over to where daddy is standing.
I look at what they're looking at. It was a prison with a bunch of monsters in the yard. "damn shame" daddy grumbles.
"No" Rick says adjusting me on his hip. "We can make it work".
Oh I forgot to mention that daddy and Rick are close now. Daddy doesn't hate him anymore. Which is good because I didn't like it when daddy would yell at Rick.
Daddy doesn't get jealous when I hang out with Rick anymore. But he does get mad when Beth or Carol try to take care of me. I dont know why but he doesn't want me to have a mommy figure I guess.
I have two daddy's. I told daddy that and he told me not to say that ever again.
I can't wait till I'm older because then I'll get all these jokes and things people keep laughing about. Daddy says I'll understand when I'm older so I'm ready. Like Lori eating her baby. And how I can't have two daddies.
Rick thinks this prison can be a home. That's scary! I dont know if I will like it! But it's better than nothing I guess.
