"How's your head this morning Hemmo?" I ask in amusement as I enter the kitchen to find Luke with his head in his hands as he sits at the kitchen table.
"Fantastic." Luke mutters full of sarcasm.
"How much did you even drink last night?"
"Obviously too much." Luke lightly chuckles lifting his head up to look at me. His eyes seem to do a complete once over on me which after last night I find just a little unsettling.
I didn't quite understand what Luke was getting at when he said that its's a shame I'm with his best friend? What the hell did that even mean?
"Why exactly did you drink last night?" I ask in curiosity before pouring myself a cup of coffee.
"Uh well Katie and I kind of got in a fight and I just wanted to forget about it." Luke admits taking me by surprise.
"A fight about what?" I raise my eyebrows at him.
"Stupid shit." Luke shakes his head in annoyance. "This is gonna sound odd but you're wearing something underneath that right?" Luke asks motioning to Calum's t-shirt that I was wearing.
"Well yeah." I mumble feeling myself flush. I was kinda regretting not putting any shorts or pants on right now.
"Right." Luke grins looking nervous. "I don't really remember much from last night so I just wanna apologise for anything stupid I might of said or done."
"Don't worry, you were fine." I tell him before joining him at the kitchen table.
"Okay good." Luke nods looking relieved. "Genie can I ask you something?"
"Sure." I shrug giving him a smile.
"You and Cal have obviously had a...complicated relationship at times right?"
"You could say that." I lightly laugh because Calum and I had most definitely had a complicated relationship at times.
"Okay so my question is for you is has it been worth it?" Luke asks and I blink at him in confusion. What kind of a question was that? "Like after everything that's happened between you two, you're happy with him?"
"Well of course." I smile. "Where is this coming from exactly?"
"I just....things between Katie and I have changed a lot lately and I'm just trying to figure out if it's going to be worth continuing you know? I don't want to give something my all and then regret it." Luke explains looking very conflicted. I had absolutely no idea that him and Katie were having problems.
"I know what you mean."
"I guess after everything that happened with Claudia I'm really unsure about giving my all to someone which really isn't fair on Katie but it's just how I am now." Luke sighs and my heart breaks just a little for him.
I could only imagine how horrible it would be feeling like you could never really give your heart to someone because it would just get broken.
I also felt extremely bad for Katie because I know she has such strong feelings for Luke.
It honestly must just be so difficult for the both of them and I understood where Luke was coming from when he was asking if it was even worth it.
"My advice would be to just give yourself some time and give your relationship with Katie some more time because she's honestly a great person Luke and I know you care about her." I tell him and he nods though I can't help but notice how doubtful he looks.
"I'm afraid that I'm only just going to care about her though and I don't want to just string her along."
"Oh Luke." I sigh reaching over to give his hand a reassuring squeeze. I really wished that I could go back in time and stop him and Claudia from ever happening, Not just for Luke but for Claudia too.
Luke's eyes meet mine and he stares at me intently before he looks down at our hands. "Uh I need a shower." Luke says suddenly standing up from his seat. "If I'm not out in twenty minutes, then my hangover may of killed me." Luke tells me making me laugh.
"I'll check on you later okay?"
"Okay." Luke gives me a small smile before exiting the kitchen.

"Hello." I greet happily answering Aria's call.
"Genie. I need you to come over, it's urgent." Aria says sounding very frantic which worries me.
"What's going on? Is everything okay?" I question.
"Just hurry please." Aria mutters before the line goes dead. Well that was odd.
I decide that now was the perfect time to go check on Luke and also tell him that I'm going out. I had heard him get out off the shower about fifteen minutes ago so his hangover hadn't quite killed him yet.
"Hey Luke." I call before knocking on the spare room door then entering. "I'm gonna go-"
"Genie!" Luke's panicked voice cuts me off.
My eyes widen at the sight of Luke who was standing there in all of his glory.
"Oh my god." I gasp. "Cover yourself!" I tell him as he looks around the room for something.
"Turn around." Luke instructs but I don't, instead I stand stupidly staring at my fiancée's best friend who was completely butt naked, I didn't know why but my eyes just wouldn't look away.
Luke frantically grabs a random towel and wraps it around himself before looking at me strangely, I couldn't quite read his expression and I'm sure he couldn't quite read mine.
"I'm uh I'm... gonna to the Clifford's." I mumble taking a step back. "Yeah. I'm Gonna go."
"Genie." Luke calls looking rather awkward which was hilarious to me because there was nothing awkward about his body from what I had just seen.
"I'll be back later." I say before rushing out.
That did not just happen.

"Hey Genie." Michael beams as soon as he sees me on his front door step.
"Hey Mikey, what's going on?" I ask concern filling my features. "Aria didn't say much on the phone."
"Well then I know just as much as you do." Michael says and I shoot him a frown. How did he not even know what was going on? "She's locked me out of the bedroom."
"Really?" I lightly laugh though it wasn't exactly funny. "And you have no idea what might be going on?"
"Do I look like I have an idea?" Michael grins and I shake my head at him in amusement.
"I'm sure everything is fine." I reassure him before making my way to their bedroom.
"Aria. It's me." I say knocking on the door. It opens only seconds later and I'm pulled in.
"Thank god you're here!" Aria says looking frantic.
"Yes now can you tell me what's going on?" I question.
"Come here." Aria grabs my hand and leads me to the bathroom. "All of them are positive and I don't know what to do."
"What do you mean?" I frown at Aria. My eyes dart to the three positive pregnancy tests sitting in the sink. "Aria you're pregnant! That's what you and Michael want isn't it?"
"Well yeah but Genie what if I'm a terrible mother?! And what if Michael and I start to hate each other because you know that happens right? Genie I'm just really freaking out right now." Aria splutters and I can't help but smile.
"I noticed." I lightly laugh shaking my head at her. "Aria you and Michael are going to be the best parents okay? Plus we both know this baby is only going to bring the two of you closer, you're freaking out for no reason." I reassure her being one hundred percent honest.
"You really think so?" Aria questions still looking doubtful which was completely understandable, being pregnant came with a whole new world of insecurities.
"I know so."
"Thank you." Aria gives me a small smile. "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure." I nod giving her a shrug.
"It's okay that I'm like pregnant right? I just don't want to hurt you or anything you know? A month may of passed but I know that doesn't matter because what you've had to go through will stay with you forever and I just really wanna make sure that you're okay."
"I love you for that Aria but I'm fine. I'm so happy for you and Michael and you really don't need to worry." I tell her truthfully because that was how I felt. I wasn't upset or angry, I was genuinely happy for them.
"Genie I'm pregnant." Aria gushes and I can't help but grin at her.
"You're pregnant."
"Oh my god." Aria squeals looking a lot less worried then she was before.
"I hate to bring this up right but I just really need to tell someone."
"Oooh tell me then!" Aria claps looking curious.
"I kind of walked in on Luke naked." I blurt and Aria looks shocked before she starts laughing. "I'm so embarrassed!" I groan.. It had to be one of the most embarrassing moments of my life and I was sure Luke felt the same way.
"How did that even happen?" Aria asks looking beyond amused.
"I went to check on him and when I walked in he was just standing there!" I explain and Aria giggles.
"So the real question here is what Claudia said about him true?" Aria wiggles her eyebrows and I snort.
"Very true." I nod. "He's very well endowed."
"Oh my god." Aria laughs. "Maybe not mention that to Calum."
"Yeah maybe." I nervously laugh.

A knock at the front door startles me and I'm so confused as to who it could be.
I had been home for a little while now and thankfully I hadn't seen or heard from Luke yet, I think he was actually sleeping his hangover off or at least I hope he was doing that and not just ignoring me.
We both knew we had to face it each other soon and although it would be awkward I hope it didn't change thugs between us but I really valued Luke's friendship.
"Genie Scott?" The man enquires after I've opened the front door.
"Uh yes."
"Sign here please." The man says passing me a small machine and random little pen. I sign it carefully then hand it back to him.
"Great, enjoy the rest of your day!" He gives me a smile before handing me a package.
"Thanks. You too." I tell him then shut the door. I didn't remember ordering anything recently?
I look over the stickers on the package and it feels like my heart drops in to my stomach when I realise what it is that I'm holding.
