Collette's POV

Weeks have passed since I saw Zara at Valentina's front door. I'll admit, seeing Zara angered me, I had no interest in shouting or making a scene because the last time I did I pissed a lot of people off and risked losing the girl I love.

So instead I made Valentina scream for me.

It worked and I felt good that I was the one who made her sound like that, more over it made me extremely happy to know Zara was listening to every last sound I made her make.

I haven't spoke to Val in the last five weeks. Which means it mid May so the weathers warming up and I'm less than two weeks away from graduating. Val and I haven't spoken mainly because I wanted to focus on finals since the last time I had a test, I practically failed.

So I've decided to be clear of major distractions. It's been hard but pottery is really coming in hand.

On the other hand, Zoë and Quinn are back together, or somewhat back together.

Most important thing is Zoë's happy, and that's what really matters.

I have one two last finals to write, all today. Chemistry and Maths. I hate Maths.

It makes no sense to me. I'm only realistically doing it all for my future. I guess I want to be a criminologist that badly.

Chemistry is first. I'm scared but I know I'll be okay, I've studied and haven't had many distractions honestly.

But I miss Valentina terribly. Somedays I even question if I made the right call by going almost low contact with her. We have the everyday good morning, goodnight and I love you texts and they fill my heart so much each day. And we have our bond touch bracelets which honestly I use more than I should.

But I haven't seen her in a long while. And i miss her.

"We can do this." Zoë said as she sat next to me and Birdie.

"We can, it's just a couple questions." Birdie shrugged.

"That determine if we graduate or not, but yeah just a few questions." I said feeling a little nervous.

"Letty, we literally all got into our dream school, we're graduating babes." Birdie said.

"Exactly, we're graduating." Zoë said.

"Right, we are." I said more confidently as Zoë and I faced forward, and Birdie went back to her seat at the back before Mr Bale came in and handed out the papers.

We had two and a half hours to do this paper and I actually remembered to think this time.

The paper was hard I'll admit but i managed to get through it. Everything I went over was in the paper and I'm hopeful I came out with a good grade.

Maths was next and it was easier than expected. We only had an hour and a half to do this maths paper and I know I'm coming out with a somewhat good grade.

The one downside of all of finals was that the seating was set out according to your last name, I had the person I hated most in this moment, sitting directly behind me.

Alison Johnson.

I didn't want anything to do with her, she almost fucked up my relationship and if she thought this would get help her get her chance with me.

She's sorely mistaken.

Doing these papers were the last of our day. The girls and I made plans to go out for dinner tonight to celebrate the end of finals week but like always we were going to go over to Zoë's house to sunbathe.

Once I finished I handed in my paper and went out. I stood outside anxiously waiting for either birdie or Zoë to come out but instead, Ally walked out.

I didn't spare her a glance.

"Letty, how are you?" She asked but I didn't bother looking at her or answering.

She stayed silent for a minute. "You're still pissed huh? It's been like two months Letty c'mon." She said.

"So just because it's been two months doesn't mean I can't be pissed at you." I said angrily to her.

"What, you're angry because I exposed your relationship? It wasn't healthy and you know it." She said.

"Thanks to you, I don't have a relationship." I lied and scoffed. "I guess it's what you wanted right." I said sarcastically.

"You'll be okay Letty, plus half the school thinks I'm a liar so..." she said calmly and I rolled my eyes. "I really think we could've worked Letty. If you ever get over this and take some time to actually know me, I would love to take you out." She said with a smile.

I didn't even know how to react to what she was saying I stood there dumbfounded at her for a moment until Zoë came out. Ally still facing me.

"Alison, why are you still here?" Zoë asked as she walked closer to us.

"Calm down Zoë. We were just talking." She said calmly with an edge of sarcasm in her voice.

"I don't know what it is but every time I see you, you make me want to shit in my shoes and run." Zoë said and I held back a laugh.

Ally was visibly growing annoyed, her eyes starting darting like she was looking for an appropriate response.

"On Letty, I'm so glad I've found you." Ms Griffiths said from behind us.

I turned on my heel to look at her and she held a bright smile on her face.

"Come with me." She said all smiley.

"Okay." I followed behind her towards the office.

The whole way there Ms Griffiths was talking about how this news would make my day and all but I couldn't think of anything that could've.

"It's with miss Fairbourne so just be a little weary. I don't think she's in a very good mood." She said softly as we approached the office halls.

"Okay." I nodded.

"I don't think she has been for the last few weeks, but you'll be fine." She said with a smile which I returned.

I sat in the white plastic chair next to Ms Griffiths desk just as she went past to Valentina's office.

She walked back and sat in her seat before she spoke. "She'll come grab you in a second." She said excitedly.

"Okay." I sat in the chair playing with my thumbs.

Being in the office with her would be the first time I'm alone with her in the last few weeks. It made my heart race but also knew it would most likely only be a school related meeting.

Her door swung open and the pointed a finger at me."You. Come." She said harshly.

It was one of the times I felt like i was just a student to her.

Ms Griffiths gave me a thumbs up as I walked past her desk.

I walked into her office and she ran her finger through her hair. She had an eyebrow arched and she cracked her knuckles, she was frustrated.

She closed the door behind her and turned to face me properly for a minute before she turned to walk and start closing every blind in her office. She looked so beautifully she was wearing a pencil skirt and a blouse, it was the first time I'd seen her in a skirt ever since knowing her.

It left her legs exposed and it hugged her curves perfectly. I couldn't help but look for a moment as she walked away.

"Hi." I said to her as she continued.

"Hi my love." She said. My eyes finally met hers

"You wanted to see me?"

"Yes," she stood in front of me. "Finals are finished and schools over in two weeks." She said calmly.

"I know." I had a smile on my lips.

"It's time to come home darling." She said wrapping her arms around me.

I felt butterflies fill me as I slid my arms around her neck. "What do you mean?" I asked her nonchalantly.

"Come home love." She said with a small smile.

"You missed me." I smirked.

"Don't I always." She said sarcastically.

I placed a kiss to her lips. Soft and slow like always. It was welcoming. I missed her soft kisses and how I'd always get so lost in the way she's knead my sides as she tugged me closed as our lips moved together.

She pulled away first.

"Okay, now actual school stuff." She let go of me. And walked to her chair.

I sighed and did the same sitting in the chair across from her.

"You're first in the grade this year alongside Birdie." She said clicking through her laptop.

I was surprised, I've never been first, there's always been someone just a little better than me. This was such a surprise.

"Really?" I asked her.

"Yes." She said confidently.

"That's exciting, it's never happened to me before. Does this mean I'm valedictorian?" I asked her.

"If you want it, yes. If not then Birdie gets it." She explained.

"Okay, do I get time to decide?" I asked knowing I wasn't sure how I felt about this all. I was happy I was first but so was Birdie, what if she wanted valedictorian too?

"Of course." She held a small smile.

I smiled back just as her hands ran through her hair.

I stood up from my chair and walked over to hers. I took a seat in her lap and her arms went around me perfectly like always.

"I'll see you Saturday yeah?" I asked her placing my fingers in her hair scratching at her scalp lightly.

"Of course darling." She said and I placed a kiss to her lips, deepening it but sucking on her bottom lip ever so slightly.

It was soft and slow. I missed this all but at least now it's done.

Knock appeared at her door and I panicked and pulled away.

"Under. Go under." She said softly as and I slid underneath her desk.
