Third person's pov

Mrs. Jeon and Jimin were standing outside Jungkook's room, their concern increasing as they knocked incessantly on the door, urging Jungkook to let them in.

But Jungkook remained resolute, refusing to open the door,

"Jungkook, please open the door," Mrs. Jeon pleaded, "Let's have a talk hmm."

But Jungkook's only response was a muffled sob as he buried his face in his hands, not wanting to talk with anyone at the moment.

"Jungkook, we're not leaving until you talk to us," Jimin insisted, genuine concern could be heard in his voice.

Inside the room, Jungkook's heart ached with every beat, his mind filled by memories of happier times with Taehyung. He remembered their wedding day, the way he and Taehyung were so happy made his heart shatter.

But now, those vows felt like distant echoes of a past long gone,

As Mrs. Jeon and Jimin continued to plead from outside, Jungkook finally found the strength to speak, "Eomma, I... I need some space, please." His voice was so low that jimin had to place his ear on the door to understand.

Mrs. Jeon exchanged a worried glance with Jimin as jimin told her what Jungkook was saying. "Alright, Jungkook-ah, take deep breaths and try to stay calm hmm, if you need me just call me, I will come instantly."

Saying this Mrs. Jeon and jimin made their way to the living room.

In Jungkook's room........

Alone in his room, Jungkook's tears flowed freely, his mind replaying the arguments, the disagreements he had with Taehyung.

"Why did it have to come to this?" Jungkook thought aloud,

Then Jungkook grabbed his phone from the table and scrolled down in his gallery untill he saw his and Taehyung's wedding pictures.

"Is it reall-ly going to end like this ?" He said looking at their wedding picture.

And as if by looking at the picture, his mind travelled 26 years back.

The wedding ceremony was a beautiful and elegant affair, with Jungkook dressed in a black suit and Taehyung in a white one. They stood at the altar with their closest friends and family watching,

As they exchanged their vows, Taehyung couldn't wait for the priest to finish before pulling Jungkook in for a passionate kiss, causing their guests to erupt into cheers and applause.

With their foreheads pressed together, Taehyung whispered, 'Now we are together till eternity.' The love and commitment in his words brought tears to Jungkook's eyes, and he knew that this was where he belonged – in Taehyung's arms for the rest of his life, at least it was what he thought.

As Jungkook thought back on their wedding day, he couldn't help but smile at all the beautiful moments they shared. From their first dance as husband and husband, to Taehyung twirling and dipping Jungkook as they laughed and sang along to the music.

He thought that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always find a way back to each other.

One year later, when Jungkook found out he was pregnant with Hye-joon, thier happiness knew no boundaries.

The moment Jungkook told Taehyung the exciting news, they both couldn't contain their joy. They hugged and kissed and danced around the room, their happiness overflowing. Taehyung picked Jungkook up in his arms and spun him around, laughing and shouting, 'We're going to be parents!'

Taehyung threw a grand party and even took Jungkook out on a Luxurious cruise trip.

As months passed, Tehyung would often place his hand over Jungkook's growing belly, feeling their child's kicks and movements.

Flashback end...

Jungkook didn't even realised when did he start crying. He genuinely missed everything, everything which he and Taehyung had created together.

Meanwhile with Taehyung and Yoongi....

Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Mrs. Jeon was scolding Yoongi and Taehyung.

"You both are grown-up married men with children," she began, "Can you not cause a drama every time you talk to each other? Do you have any idea how stressed Jungkook is?"

Yoongi and Taehyung exchanged glances, and then shifted their gaze downwards, towards the floor.

Before they could even try to respond, Mrs. Jeon continued, her tone was becoming increasingly anger and scary, "Go and have a talk, but outside the house. I don't want any unnecessary drama here."

With that, Mrs. Jeon turned and began to make her way to her room, leaving Yoongi and Taehyung standing alone in the living room.

Yoongi broke the silence first, "Follow me," he said, gesturing towards the door before heading outside.

Taehyung couldn't help but roll his eyes at Yoongi's tone. "Follow me," he muttered sarcastically under his breath. "Who does he think he is?"

Shaking his head, Taehyung begrudgingly followed Yoongi outside. As they made their way towards Yoongi's car, neither of them spoke,

Once inside the car, Yoongi started the engine, the sound breaking the silence. The car ride was tense,

Occasionally, Yoongi would cast Taehyung a deadly glare in the rearview mirror, his frustration evident. Taehyung, rolled his eyes in response,

After a few minutes, Yoongi parked the car beside a restaurant and made his way to the outdoor table. He sat down and gestured Taehyung to come. As Taehyung sat down, Yoongi wasted no time in getting to the point.

"Two soju bottles," Yoongi ordered, his eyes fixed on Taehyung. "Go on, speak."

Taehyung hesitated for a moment,  "Um... where should I start?" he mumbled, unsure of how to begin.

"From the beginning, you jerk," Yoongi replied bluntly, his patience wearing thin at Taehyung's response.

Taehyung closed his eyes and took a deep breath, silently willing himself to keep his control. Soon the waiter arrived with the soju bottles, and Yoongi wasted no time in pouring them each a shot.

"Listen to what I'm about to say while keeping your mouth shut," Taehyung instructed, his tone firm. He downed the shot of soju in one swift motion before continuing. "I admit it, I am at fault."

"As you should be," Yoongi said,

"I told you to keep your mouth shut, Yoongi," Taehyung snapped, he took two deep breaths before saying, "Can I continue?"

Yoongi sighed, "Go on," he muttered reluctantly.

Taking another deep breath, Taehyung began to speak, "I know I made a huge mistake. I shouldn't have ignored Jungkook or let the kids disrespect him. But if my fa-ault is 99.9%, then that 0.1% is his fault."

Taehyung took another shot of soju before continuing, his words becoming more loud with each passing moment. "He always prioritized that Eunwoo over me. I'm his husband – shouldn't he be with me rather than celebrating Eunwoo's birthday?"

"It w-was our wedding anniversary," Taehyung continued, his voice cracked a little in the starting, but he managed to keep it steady,

"I decorated the entire house and even baked a cake. I waited for him, but he didn't come. He just texted me that he would be staying at Eunwoo's. It felt like my efforts meant nothing to him."

Yoongi listened in silence as Taehyung poured out his frustrations, "But he did try everything to make it up to you later," Yoongi said, his tone was still plain.

Taehyung's eyes narrowed at Yoongi's words, his frustration bubbling. "That's not the point," he said, his voice rising in volume. "He shouldn't have prioritized someone else over me in the first place."

"I know, I'm stupid, an idiot, and the worst husband," Taehyung continued bitterly, "But it's his fault too!"

"Do you know how miserable I felt when I was waiting for him to go to my friend's wedding, but he said he was going shopping with his friends?" Taehyung said, "And yes, he did try to make it up later, but he was the one who started everything."

Taehyung drained another shot of soju, the alcohol burning his throat. He looked up at Yoongi, his eyes were getting filled with tears.

Yoongi spoke up, his voice was still plain but softer than before"Was your love for him this weak that you just fell out of love because of this?"

Taehyung chuckled bitterly at Yoongi's words, "Can't you understand me a bit more, hyung?" he replied, his voice trembling.

"Does n-nobody see m-my efforts?" Taehyung's voice cracked as he spoke, "You kno-ow how much I had to leave to marry him. I le-eft my par-rents t-to marry hi-im – my mo-mm die-ed, and I wasn't the-ere to bury he-er because my ap-ppa didn't w-wanted m-me near her body! I left m-my world to marry him......I couldn't ev-ven see my mother's face for the last time."

As the tears streamed down Taehyung's cheeks, he downed another shot of soju, his voice was really wobbly now.

"I also fucking tried to make it up to him," Taehyung spat out, "But every time, he prioritized someone else over me. And yes, I did fucking make a mistake – not just one, but many!"

"Do you remember when it was our 17th wedding anniversary and we held a grand party? Jungkook joked about how Eunwoo was a better husband than me. Do you know how... how I felt?"

Taehyung's hands clenched into fists as he struggled to stop his tears, "I wanted to bury my-yself," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I felt so little and low, but I laughed it off."

"If it was me, then you all would have blamed me," he continued,  " I don't hav-ve my pa-aren-nts to defe-end me." Taehyung said looking at Yoongi with teary eyes that were now also red.

"It's not fair," Taehyung whispered, "I tried so hard to be a good h-husband a-and to make him happy. But no matter what I do, it's never enough. And now... now it feels like I'm drowning, and I don't know h-how to swim anymore."

Then for a moment, Yoongi and Taehyung were completely silent.

"Yes, I was an asshole to him, but now I tru-uly a-am g-guilty," Taehyung started speaking again,

"But you don't love him anymore," Yoongi said, looking at another direction to avoid making an eye contact with Taehyung.

"I do, I fucking do!" Taehyung exclaimed, "What should I do to prove that I still love him? Sho-ould I hang myself from the tree or something? I'm trying to apologize so th-hat I can show him my love, but w-when he doesn't want to see my face, ho-ow should I tell him?"

Yoongi reached for the soju bottle and poured Taehyung and himself another shot,

Taehyung snatched the bottle from Yoongi and downed it in one gulp, Yoongi's eyes widened in shock as he watched Taehyung's reckless behavior.

"Are you crazy?" Yoongi said more like shouted at Taehyung and snatched the empty bottle from him.

Ignoring Yoongi's question, Taehyung turned to the waiter. "Two more bottles, please," he ordered, his voice was already getting wobbly.

Waiter immediately nodded and served them the soju.

Once the waiter left, Taehyung turned back to Yoongi, "I fel-lt so lo-ow ev-very time he joked abo-out how Eunwoo is better than me," Taehyung admitted,

Yoongi was just listening to him, silently and drinking soju.

After 10 minutes........

Now Taehyung and Yoongi were totally drunk. Their words became slurred, their movements unsteady as they leaned on each other for support.

Taehyung pointed a shaking finger at Yoongi, "But how can you be such an asshole, huh?" he slurred, his words barely understandable.

Yoongi's drunken facade cracked, tears welling up in his eyes, "I thought you were my best friend," Yoongi choked out,

Yoongi then threw himself into Taehyung's arms, his sobs echoing in the night air. "But it was your fault, you bastard," he cried out,

" I am sorry, " Taehyung said burying his head in Yoongi's shoulder.

"I'm so-orr-ry," Taehyung repeated, as he looked at Yoongi with half closed eyes.

"No, I'm so-or-ory," Yoongi said loudly.

They both were saying stuff which they would definitely regret after they come back to their senses.
