Teasers:
This game only had one teaser, showing Freddy with endoskeleton, with the name of the game next to him.
Trailer:
The trailer for the game shows Freddy's being opened during the day and then cuts to the night, where the animatronics are alive. Mostly Bonnie. The changes from the trailer is that Bonnie does not run down the hallway, and the endoskeleton looks different. Also, Bonnie cannot take his face off, and the animatronics don't look at the camera.
Quotes (NOTE: Not every quote is in here):
"During the day it's a place of joy"
"But you're not here during the day."
"You have the nightwatch"
"Limited Power"
"Limited Visibility"
"Limited Time"
Plot:
You are the night guard, and have been hired to work at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza for 5 nights, where you must guard the place, but there's something unfortunate about this job. You won't see much burglaries, what you will see is the animatronic characters coming to life and trying to get inside your office. Survive five nights and you win.
Gameplay (MAIN):
Every night takes place in an office where all you have to protect yourself are the doors, but the doors are electronic, so they drain the building's power, so you have to be careful on when to use them.
Night 1:
On Night 1, the animatronics won't start moving until 2AM, likely it will be Bonnie to move first, then Chica. You have to make sure neither of them get to your doors, and if they are there, you close them.
Night 2:
Night 2 is the same but with a new enemy, Foxy, where you must check his curtain often so he doesn't move.
Night 3:
By this night, all animatronics should be moving, and likely before 2AM now.
Night 4:
The game gets more difficult as the animatronics start to move faster and earlier.
Night 5:
The final night, beat it, and you win.
Night 6:
Night 6 is a bonus night. Where the animatronics are even harder to deal with.
Night 7:
There is a custom night where you choose the difficulty level for the animatronics.
Gameplay (Minigames):
FNAF 1 has no mini-games.
Story (Spoilers):
The restaurant is a small building, which was made in hopes of making a better Freddy's for families. The week before gameplay takes place, another guy, only called Phone Guy, worked there and he was killed, as shown in his night calls. Mike works the night shift at Freddy's and soon finds out that the place is haunted, and the animatronics are possessed by the spirits of restless children who were murdered back in the 80's. The kid's names are Gabriel (Freddy), Jeremy (Bonnie), Susie (Chica), Fritz (Foxy) and an un-named kid (Golden Freddy).
Story (Non-Canon, Game Over)
If Mike gets caught, he gets stuffed into a Freddy suit and dies and is left in the backroom.
Connection to the other Games:
FNAF 2: None
FNAF 3: The game takes place 30 years after this one, and the animatronics appear in the hallways destroyed.
FNAF 4: It is theorized the FNAF 4 gameplay is a nightmare by Mike after working at the FNAF 1 location.
Sister Location: Hand-Unit mentions after Freddy's closed, that Baby's rentals opened. The office is also a reference to FNAF 1.
Pizzeria Simulator: The FNAF 1 hallway is in this game, and so is Freddy's Toredor March in minigames.
Ultimate Custom Night: The doors from FNAF 1 return and so does the power. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy also return and Golden Freddy is the main antagonist.
Help Wanted: There is a FNAF 1 mode in this game where you can play FNAF 1 in VR.
Special Delivery: FNAF 1 Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy return.
Security Breach: There are references everywhere to the first game, including posers, plushies, and even some offices with two doors and a power supply. A Princess Quest minigame also shows an office that looks like the FNAF 1 office.

Easter Eggs:
1. If you click on Freddy's nose on the poster in the office, it will make a honk noise.
2. On random occasions, the screen will flash with either "ITS ME," Bonnie with black eyes, or Freddy with big humanoid eyes.
3. Sometimes when Freddy is alone on stage, he will stare at the camera.
4. Sometimes Foxy's out of order sign will say "ITS ME" when he's gone.
5. Sometimes the Freddy poser in the west hallway corner will show Freddy trying to take his head off. Theorized to represent Gabriel trying to escape.
6. Golden Freddy will appear on the west poster followed by a child's laugh, when this happens, he appears in your office.
7. In the east hallway, sometimes it will say "ITS ME" on the walls, other times it'll show pictures of crying children.
8. Sometimes, newspapers will appear in the east hallway. One poster says two kids went missing and that a suspect was arrested. Another poster says that five kids are now connected to the murders. Another poster says customers complained about smells coming from the animatronics, and the final poster says Freddy's will close by years end.
9. Sometimes, Endo-01 and the masks in the backstage will stare at the camera.
10. When Bonnie goes to the backstage, he might stand directly in front of the camera with black eyes and white pupils.
11. To this day, for some unknown reason, a door pounding can be heard randomly in the night.
12. Sometimes, circus music will be played in the background. This is the most common easter egg.
13. Foxy will sing a song sometimes. Also very common.
14. Sometimes in a game over, Golden Freddy will jumpscare you, instead of going back to the title screen.
15. If you set the animatronics to 1, 9, 8, and 7, Golden Freddy will jumpscare you. Which led to theories that he did the bite of 87. But in reality, Scott Cawthon put that there so people would stop thinking you'd get some secret cutscene if you did that.
16. Sometimes in a game over from Bonnie, a death screen will appear, showing Bonnie with no eyes.
17. In the newspaper for the game, surrounding the main one shows:
"Blah. Blah. Blah. Blah. Blah. This ad has nothing to do with anything relevant to the game. Blah. Blah. Blah. Blah. Blah. Chances are you won't make it past night three. Blah. Blah. Yackity smackity. Blah. Blah. This probably isn't the best choice of a summer job, since you most likely won't survive the week. I'd recommend being a cashier, sack boy, or work in a warehouse. Those are all very respectable jobs, and you probably won't be killed doing them. Well, you might, but it would be unlikely. Blah. Blah."
Endings:
Real Ending:
After completing the 5 nights, you are shown a paycheck, and you are now hired at Freddy's in the daytime. You are given 100 dollars for working there.
6th Night Ending:
Same thing.
Custom Night Ending:
In this ending, Mike is fired for tampering with the animatronics, and odor. Which is just a joke because you messed with the animatronic's AI and the odor is just a random joke.
