Tia Pov
I've been out of Stephen's house for three weeks now. Almost a month. I still see Riley. Sonya will bring her to my condo or I'll meet them at the park. Stephen let me have his Audi so I can get around. Sometimes me and her will go out and I'll drop her off at Sonya and Dell's house and Steph gets her from there. I don't see him. I barely watch his games now. But I'm working at UnderArmour now. It's an ok job I guess. I don't party that much and I don't drink that much either. I'm actually proud of myself.
I'm at work now helping this mom and her little son.
Me- This shoe looks amazing on your feet. I will definitely recommend it for you. *Smiles*
Little Kid- Mommy do you like it?
Mom- I don't have to wear it baby.
The kid nodded.
Me- So what do you say? *Smiles*
The little boy gave me a thumbs up. I giggled.
Me- Ok. The cashier will check you guys out.
Mom- Thank You for your help Tia.
Me- No problem ma'am. Have a nice day guys. *Smiles*
I started replacing things. Making it look good for our customers.
??- Ok guys. Pick out anything. I'll be here.
I looked at the door and the Warriors coach was walking through with the whole team. Oh lord. I turned my head and kept it low. I glanced up and I saw Stephen talking to one of the workers, Ashlin, about a shirt.
Just kept low and stay calm Tia.
Ashlin-*Yells* Tia!
Damn you Ashlin! Pretend like you don't hear her.
Ashlin- Tia I know you hear me.
I cursed under my breathe before turning around slowly. Stephen looked shocked. Good. Now he knows where I work. I walked over to them. I didn't speak to Stephen at all.
Ashlin- Do we have this shirt in stock?
Me- I'll go check.
I walked away to the back. I was looking through boxes for that stupid shirt.
??- Hello to you too.
I sighed and looked at steph.
Me- You aren't suppose to be back here. Employees only.
I rolled my eyes and continued looking for his shirt.
Stephen- I sponsor for them. I'm welcomed.
Me- Can you just hush. I'm trying to find the shirt.
Stephen- Here let me help you.
Me- I don't need your help.
Somehow Stephen hand ended up on mines. I moved mines quick.
Stephen- *Clears throat* Found it...
I nodded.
Me- Thanks...
Stephen-.. Uh.. You've been avoiding me?
Me- No.
Stephen- Last time I seen you, you were leaving the stadium that day.
Me- Hm.
Stephen- I'm sorry.
Me- It doesn't matter.... It's too late anyway.
Stephen- Too late? You seeing somebody?
Me- Does not matter. Even if I was I wouldn't tell you.
Stephen- Then what do you mean by too late?
Me- I lost all feelings for you Stephen..... This is exactly what I meant by I don't have relations with clients.
Stephen- You still doing that?
Me- Look around you Stephen. If I was would I be here? I don't do none of it.
Stephen- If I was to kiss you right now would you kiss me back?
Me- No. I would not.
I faked smirked and walked away from him. You did good Tia.
When I walked out I released a deep breathe I've been holding. The sight of him takes my breathe away.
