It was the same routine, patrolling the skies of their nation. Like a bird they sore through the cloud with an aircrafts. More than 4 squadron is patrolling the skies it was such a large numbers that it isn't even for patrol but rather a full scales bombing run. On the ground is a total mobolization of the army, this is going to be a big war.
And all over there in the south at Rodenius continent, F-4 Phantom II is taking off of the runways. Flying the flags of Rodenius and head straight toward Philade continent.
"Off to Civilized area, conducting flying test. Weapon prepared"
"Roger, weapon free"
America and her allies have everything to win the wars instantly by assassinating Emperor Ludius or firebombing Esthirant, but that would prolonged it further as the noble and citizen will not give up so easily, it like operation downfall which include invasion of Japanese mainland that estimated to result in millions of death. But it was swept down as President Harry S. Truman called for the usage of nuclear bomb.
It gonna be the quickest and greatest strategical victory but it would not goes in a favor of America in a long term and most importantly the hostage in Esthirant that is in need of rescue. By far Parpaldia empire have nothing to counter American weaponry except those Ancient tools in their arsenals. 7 F-4 Phantom II is now over Philade airspace and land at American airbase for a refuel. While at the airbase they heard something about an operation in which to completely take control over airspace of Parpaldia though the steps was not told.
While Rodenian pilot is still skeptical about it, knowing American capabilities then they could make it possible in some ways or another. Parpaldian airforce literally outnumbered them 300:1, that's an impossible odds even with technological superiority.
"Parpy aircraft in our air space! They heading from Bilshix hills!"
Everyone in the air base scramble and begin an intercepting operation, along side Rodenian pilots in F-4 Phantom II among all the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Falcon.
"Follow us new guys, we'll show you how to fly this thing correctly"
"Roger!" Rodenius squadron leader, an elf replied.
They take off from the runways and toward the targets. The enemies is a Bi-plane, doesn't seem hard to take down but in fact it was pain in the ass for the fighter jet as they have to worry about the speed plus the missile will also have trouble locking on a plane made of wood and clothes. Their goal is only to drive them off.
"Got visual on the bogeys" F-16 pilots said
"I don't see anything.." Rodenian pilot replies
"Look at your radar new guys, we don't even need eyes to eyes contact with them"
"Gallop-2, squadron sized bogeys on your 9. They're rapidly closing in"
"Understood"
Gallop-2 then lead his unit toward the enemies.
"That's left another 3 squadron for us"
"Let's see who can score the most here" one of the F-15 pilots said before letting of a laugh.
"Even though we are just intercepting, i felt like doing an airstrike on their base. Less problem for us"
"That wasn't in the order, man. Better not get it too far"
"Alright Ping-5 get the squadron on your one. We will take the rest"
6 F-16 and break from the formation and head toward north east.
"Not fun my guys, you get to fight two squadron at once" Ping-5 said before cutting off.
And now it just left them all alone with 5 F-15, 2 F-16 and 7 F-4. They head straight over to the north to meet up with 2 squadrons of enemies. This was supposed to be flying test for Rodenian pilots but live fires exercise is a bonus then. This should be easy given disparity in technology between them and Parpaldia. Rodenian F-4 begin firing their AIM-7 once they got Parpaldian aircraft on their eyes.
The missiles exploded near the wings of lead plane, the shrapnel shredded their wings to pieces but no direct hit though. The lead plane start violently spinning toward the ground and their entire squadron fall into disarray.
"Jesus chill out, you didn't even lock onto target properly"
2 F-16 then speed up, their afterburner started roaring and went ahead of the rest.
"Fox three!" Them pilot shouted as they speed race for those enemies with their M61 Vulcans.
20mm rounds effectively obliterate the fragile body of Parpaldia plane, American interceptor forces them retreat without any lost on their sides.
Location: West Berlin, Germany, Europe (outside of Civilized area)

The Berlin walls is swarmed by the locals, East guard is trying contain the chaos while the west is still confused after such transportation. Moreover the standoff between them and the Soviet was intense, even more intense than the one in 1960's
They got no support of West Germany and other Western country, it just them alone in middle of the Warsaw pact. British and French troops counted only little over a ten thousand and added with the Bundeswehr and American army which would make them all number in a hundred thousands at least but compared to the Eastern troops which could be over millions if they want to goes on full offensive. Western nation no longer have power over neither Germany or Berlin. Yet the Soviet have not attack them when they got a chance to do so, instead they sent an ambassador to explain the current situation.
Fearing Nuclear Armageddon, Western embassy is happy for Soviet ambassador and follow up a meeting include representative from countries in Warsaw pact and western nation. The meeting is then take place in west Berlin.
"As you may know we were unknowingly and unexpectedly transported to a completely different planet, the native of this planet have no features different than that of a human except some ethnic scattered around the land. Moreover their technology is considerably advance with some of them having a hi-tech equipment already" Soviet ambassador read out.
"Transported to entirely different planet.. sound too much for a fantasy i supposed it should be true, if warsaw pact is here other nations in Europe should be here too but may you explain the reason why i can't contact Paris at all during the past few days?"
"Unfortunately, Serge. France was not transported, that also said with the entirety of western blocs"
French ambassador was skeptical with the event, it seem too absurd to be true yet the Russian ambassador stay to his words
"Do you mean.. France and UK is left out?
"Correct"
Soviet ambassador clear his throat before picking up another papers and read it out loud.
"This is a request from comrade Gorbachev, 'Western power will not seize their control over West Berlin but rather demilitarized the industrial zone and sign a mutual defense pact with USSR' This, and Western power are no longer relevant in Europe"
"What!?" French ambassador stood up from his chair in a surprised manners.
"Excuse me? Demilitarized industrial zone? You know how much strains this could causes right? Sure may Warsaw pact be the great power over this region but it will still be disaster with rebellious citizen" British ambassador objected.
"While in terms I agreed with the idea of mutual defense pact but I stand firm that American forces will not withdraw from industrial zone"
"Then we shall have a tank infront of your doorstep and what would you say? We will tore down the Berlin wall and take it by forces"
Situation then tense up again, at first this would look like a peace talk with no real threatening situation, but this damned Russian try to exploit their lack of military forces to Communist party's advantage. Even in another world the cold war didn't cool down at all.
"Well i-" French ambassador is cut off.
"Of course, we will not attack right away decision whether giving it up or not"
"Just as he said, Polish and Romanian army has already begin mobolizing on order of USSR. It your choices to decide to run away or take a fight to yourself"
Shit, this is extremely dangerous. Too god damn dangerous. They thought. American ambassador still keep his composure and replies.
"On behalf of Mr.President, if Warsaw pact decided to attack we will respond greatly. We don't want to have problem with neither USSR or Warsaw pact but you know how will this goes if West Berlin fall into the likes of you"
Warsaw pact ambassador step down by the threat given by American ambassador, knowing that they were here with them too. If they start a war now it would be brutal, long and possibly spell doom for both of them and the entirety of new world.
"If you got tank infront of our doorstep then we'll also get submarine under your feets. What difference should it shown?"
"Fighting on unfamiliar terrains and in such distance would give off a hard time for American military isn't it? The threat that this new world possessed is still unknown by all of us, fortunately we get to get our hand on one of the superpower and signing an alliance with them" Soviet ambassador countered.
American ambassador gulped, before the situation get out of hand other ambassador from Warsaw pact intervene.
"United Kingdom and France may keep their sovereignity"
The ambassador from both nation take a sigh of relief, knowing Western blocs is no more and they have nowhere to go it was a relief for them to know that they will keep their sovereignity.
"In exchange, you both will withdraw your troops out of Berlin. That would leave only you alone, America"
"As i said, we have no problem with signing mutual defense pact as long as member of Warsaw pact stay docile"
"That's a deal"
The meeting concluded in peaceful manners with what was left of major Western power sign the pact with USSR. United Kingdom was given some land to start over in 2nd Civilized area, same with France and completely established a completely new nation later on known as Anglo-France Replublic. The trade route is still on negotiation, Poland is the first one to accept.
Berlin is now and always the hottest spot and with the new major power that might roses, which is (surprisingly) Poland. Without Western blocs, Poland is now able to do a trade outside Europe. Slowly stepping ahead of other nation in Warsaw pact with their economic growth and military prowess, while Germany is still the most militaristic area in the entire world. There's no major threat.. atleast for now.

The foreign affairs is more busy than ever, people signing in left and right and some hallways got so crowded that the guard has to blocked it off, funny that it sound like a traffic problem but no. It's not. There were too many people in foreign affairs that it sound like a wet dream, the matter regarding the American were no joke.
Army HQ were no difference either, direct order from Remille about an attack on US mainland put them into disarray and not because they can't do it, they just don't have enough resources to do so. You can't just suddenly tell the army to do something especially when it an operation as large as this, it simply not possible. In the hallways young woman carry a stack of paper, the person around greet her with respected.
"Good morning Major, you're still busy as always"
"Good morning, thank for your concerns" she replies.
Unlike most of the nation in the new world, Parpaldia allowed woman into their ranks with little to no restraint mostly because of their need of human resources since the vast territories they possessed required it. Same with people with little wealth.
"Oh, Major have you heard about the operation?" A man asked.
"What operation..?" She stopped in her track before turning around.
"Huh? The general staff did not told you this? This operation is a direct order from Ms.Remille herself, those first department are onto something"
Direct order from Remille? That Remille? It caught her attention of what could it possibly be.
"Fortunately i got a briefing of it, wait let me check" he then grab a paper from his bags.
"Here" he handed it to her.
She put down the paper in hands and take the briefing of the operation, slowly opening it only to face a surprise.
"Invasion of United States..?" She take a good read again and no, her eyes did not deceived her.
"Yes Major, that what they called themselves"
The landmasses, the shape and everything. It can't be wrong, this is the goddamn fucking literally United States of America! How the hell did they get here!? She thought while intensely looking at it. Sure in this world there's a nation with similar names, which is United States of Nigrat but this is the real thing. Although she is not so sure, but it looked like an actual US.
Reincarnated into another world is one thing but an entire country transported to another world!? Fucked fantasy because this is beyond that!
"Major? You alright?"
"Oh sorry, i was pretty surprised" she handed him back the paper.
"I will wait to see the time your armored cavalry company get a chance to shine, Major Celiné" He said, putting the paper in his bag and salute.
"Thank you for your kind word, Captain" she saluted back.
She may never doubt ability of Parpaldia empire but still, this is United States they're going up against here especially the thought of invading their mainland! Worst possible outcome for them would to have nuclear bomb drop in middle of Esthirant but it a low chances that would happen.
She got a lot of questions to ask the general staff and many more questions for USA. Is this the same America she know? The fact that only 19 years ago she found herself reincarnated into this new world is unbelievable enough and now this, during her time in old world she was a normal police officer in Canada even though she is originally borned in Japan but was forced to moved to Canada and was caught in a car accident in 2013.
Knowing she is borned into one of the world's superpower it does make her relieved a bit mostly because of decent safety and mostly easy life. She was also pretty patriotic for Parpaldia after all these years. When she heard that there are stronger nation than Parpaldia in this new world make her unease, with thought coming up 'What if they attack us?', 'What if global conflict were to happen? What would we do?'. Yes this world does not experienced something like World war and yet they advance far beyond industrial revolution era.
"For god sake.. can I even rest? How long has it been..? It should be 2032 for them by now" She mumbled and walk to her room.
Little does she know that this America is not the same as the one she knew, this is United States from 1987 in a peak of late cold wars they found themselves in a new world with their rivals. May be it less advance than 21st centuries America but they were just as strong and would show no mercy for Parpaldia empire.
