The drunk tired girl sat in the passenger side of her car with her head resting on the seat belt. Her brown hair is scattered on her face as her left hand was intertwined with the girl next to her. Her heels were off her feet and thrown into the seat behind her. Her knees pressed against her chest as she slept peacefully. Bada held onto her hand tightly as her eyes focused on the road in front of her. Her thumb rubbed circles on the back of Leah's hand as she heard her small breaths. Stopping at a red light she turned her head to the right seeing the girl sleeping. She didn't hesitate to reach over brushing a few hair strands behind her ear. "Ivy wasn't lying at all." She chuckled, to herself. Remembering how Ivy referred to Leah as a toddler. A toddler that once she used all her energy would pass out falling into a deep slumber. The red light turned green, making her focus on landing on the road once again. Arriving at the brunette apartment she parked in the garage parking lot. Her brows furrowed as Leah's phone started ringing. Unintentionally she picked up pressing the phone against her ear.

"Yah! Where are you?! I've been outside your door for an hour, you ungrateful brat!" Bada pulled the phone away from her ear. She glanced at the caller ID, seeing a no caller id. Her eyes slightly widened, recognizing the voice at the other end of the line. Her eyes glanced at Leah seeing her deep in slumber without a trace of worry on her face. She gulped down, hanging up the call and thinking of what to do. After the late night talk they had on the rooftop she remembered how the younger girl spoke of her parents. A hit on anger mixed with love for what they had done to her. Letting out a shaky breath she pulled out of the parking lot and decided to take the girl to her apartment. She shared it with Tatter but the blonde girl had already warned her she would be crashing at Lusher's place tonight.

Shutting the door carefully she ran to the other side of the car. She opened the passenger side door, her chocolate eyes landing on the sleeping girl. She reached over to remove the seat belt from her body. She wrapped her left arm around her small back while her other arm made its way underneath her knees. Even if Leah was asleep her body instantly cuddles onto Bada's. Her arms made their way around her neck as she laid her head on her shoulder. The tall girl bit her lower lip smiling as her heart melted. She shut the door with her foot and pressed the lock button on the key. She carried the girl's bridal style through the lobby, in the elevator until she made it to her apartment. She made sure to carefully lay down her body onto her bed. Her head resting on her pillow as she draped the blanket over her body. Before she exited the room she kissed the girl on the head.

The sleeping brunette girl let out a small moan feeling a small pounding in her head. Her eyes fluttered and opened landing in a dark quiet room. The only thing she could hear was the sound of running water along with it shutting off. She squinted her eyes trying to adjust to the only lighting coming from outside through a window. She lifted herself up into a seating potion, her eyes roaming around the room. Her brows furrowed as she smelled a familiar lavender floral scent. Her eyes landed on a picture frame on top of a dresser next to the door. The girl pushed the covers off her body as she made her way around the room. She glanced down at a few piles of dirty clothes laying around. Pushing her hair behind her shoulders she made her way across the room. She stood in front of the picture frame, lifting her right hand up and she hesitated to grab it. By the outline of the people in the picture she could already tell who they were. Her heart felt heavy as her hand slowly inch closer to the frame until her fingers brush upon it. Her hand shook as she picked up the frame bringing it closer.

She maneuver her way around the dirty clothes laying around heading to the only source of light in the room. Standing by the window her eyes widened as tears started to form in her eyes. It was the picture she had been searching for years. She thought she had lost it a long time ago. A tear rolled down her face as the corner of her lips turned upwards. She wiped the tear from her face, chuckling to herself. She pulled the frame into her chest, hugging it tightly. She was glad that Bada had it this whole time. She had kept it safe. Although it's just a picture of both Bada and Leah, it meant the world to her. It was taken on Bada's birthday. Two months before the brunette girl disappeared, cupcakes disbanded and ended for good. Leah bit her lower lip containing her tears in. Her fingers caressed over the picture feeling extremely happy she gotta see it again. The picture was of both girls at the time Leah would always style her hair up and away from her face. She had her hair in dutch braids with bangs covering her forehead. The smallest amount of mascara on her lashes and pink lip gloss. A wide grin on her face as she wore a white red striped tank top with blue jeans. She held her right hand up creating a half heart as she stared at Bada.

The older girl sat next to her with her right hand wrapped around her small waist. Her left hand finished the heart that Leah had created. She also had a huge wide smile across her face. Her skin glowed as she stared at the camera. At that time Bada didn't know much about fashion. She just wore a white shirt tucked into her dark blue jeans. Her black long hair was being held up by a silver butterfly hair clip. Not one ounce of makeup on her face and she still didn't have bangs at the time. She scrunch her nose smiling at the camera. This was one of the last times she had seen her truly smile. Leah wiped her tears hearing footsteps outside the door. She placed the picture frame back as she twisted the door knob. Upon opening the door she's met with a beautiful white living room. Shutting the door behind her, her eyes averted to the kitchen on the left side of her. "You're awake? I thought you would sleep through the night." Her eyes met her warm chocolate brown eyes. The girl stood in front of the aisle with her hair wet from the shower she had just taken. A pair of glasses on the bridge of her nose while she wore a baggy white shirt and a pair of light gray sweatpants. She held a mug between her hands blowing softly on the steam coming out of it. "I'm not a heavy sleeper. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night." The girl walked across the beautiful clean light brown wood flooring. Her warm feet touch the cold floor causing goosebumps to appear on her arms. Bada nodded her head taking a sip from the hot chocolate she had just made herself.

The brunette girl approached the kitchen, she took a seat on one of the bar stools. "Here, it should help with the headache." She pulled the cupboard behind her open grabbing a bottle of pills. She handed the tired girl one and poured her a glass of water. Leah took the pill throwing her head back as she drank the water. She drank the whole thing feeling her throat dry all of the sudden. Setting the glass down she wiped her lips with the back of her hand. She let out a small groan feeling the small pond in her head. She wasn't much of a drinker but whenever she did drink. She tends to go all out to enjoy her night with her friends. Her friends always told her not to go crazy when drinking but she never listened to them. "Was there a reason why you didn't take me to my place? I mean you know the passcode and everything." Leah asked, lifting her head up. Her eyes landed on the girl who carefully drank her drink. She licked her licks removing any whip cream from them.

"Oh, your mother was outside waiting. I thought it would be best to bring you here than allow her to see you in such a state." Her eyes watched how the girl puffed out her chubby cheeks. She blew air out allowing her head to drop onto her arms. The brunette girl didn't think she would be seeing her mother again. After everything that had happened, she had made it pretty clear she wanted nothing to do with them. Plus her mother did kick her out of the home and threatened her to never come back. So times like these she knew she wanted something from her. Most of the time it was money but she would never cave in. She would never give her money so instead she would go bother her brothers who always said yes. They didn't have much of a strong heart to deny their mother. "Thank you, I don't know what would have happened if she did see me. We can never seem to have a normal conversation; it always leads to arguing." She listed her head from her arms, placing her chin on her right arm. She played with the empty glass in front of her. A small sigh leaving her lips as she stared down at the glass. A small droplet of water is still in it. Anytime she thought of her mother or heard her name she couldn't help but feel this wave of sadness take over her. I mean how could a mother despite her own child above everything else.

The older girl leaned forwards onto the aisle and her hand landed on the girl's head. She patted her head softly. "You don't need to thank me. At least you still have your brothers right?" Lifting her head slightly, her eyes met hers. A small pout of her lips as she nodded her head. Yeah, at least she still had them. But it wasn't the same. No one could fit in the shoes of her parents. Even if she didn't get along with her mother most of the time. They always somehow find themselves joking around and clinging onto each other. There were times where Maria would kiss the girl on the forehead without realizing it. She would hug her whenever she was going through a hard time. The hug didn't last very long but it still meant something to the young girl. "I guess. You think I can borrow some clothes? I'm in need of a bath." Bada nodded her head. She placed the mug down and went into her room grabbing some clothes. She handed them to the girl along with a black towel. She guided the brunette girl into the bathroom she currently shared with Tatter. "There should be some makeup wipes on the right side drawer next to the sink." The girl nodded as she closed the door.

Meanwhile Leah took a shower. Bada couldn't help but worry about her. She knew her mother has always been such a tough topic for her. She just hoped that whatever her mother needed wouldn't affect her so much. Leah stood underneath the shower head with her eyes closed feeling the water roll down her body. Tears in her eyes that she fought back not wanting to cry because of her mother. The woman wasn't worth crying for but that didn't mean that the girl didn't have a heart. She did have one, a very kind one that forgave people too easily. As scrubbed her scalp she took a deep inhale of the coconut shampoo to enjoy the delicious rich smell. She smiled realizing it's the same brand that Bada used back then when they were teenagers. She always wondered how the girl tended to smell good. Even when they spent hours practicing and sweating in a how stuffy dance studio. The tall girl let out a huff as she poured milk into a mug and mixed it in chocolate. She placed the mug into the microwave hoping that the girl would be out soon. Leah came out of the shower quickly changing into the clothes her old best friend had given her. She stared at herself through the mirror noting how Bada had given her one of her blue jerseys that had her group name on it.

Running the towel through her wet hair, her eyes flickered to the side seeing a silver necklace next to the sink. She tilted her head to the side trying to get a better look at it. Her hands continued to dry her hair as she squinted her eyes at the necklace. She brushed it aside, not focusing on it. Her eyes focused back on her hair as she dried it. This wasn't her house and she didn't want to stick her nose in other people's business. Upon unlocking the door she's met with Bada who had her hand into a fist ready to know on the door. She raised a brow in surprise and started to see her. "Sorry, I.. I left something in here." Bada had completely forgotten she had taken the necklace off. It was a habit of hers to take it off before showering and putting it back on afterwards. Part of her hoped that Leah didn't see it but part of her hoped she did. The short girl didn't question her and took a seat on one of the stools again. She threw the towel over her shoulders and pulled her hair out from underneath. "The red mug on the counter is for you." The girl yelled from the bathroom as she wrapped the silver necklace around her neck. Her eyes fixed on the necklace through the mirror. She smiled softly, hiding it behind her shirt.

Turning off the light she headed back into the kitchen seeing the short girl taking small sips from the hot chocolate. The short girl let out a small moan enjoying the warmth sweet taste of the chocolate. Her body instantly relaxed to the feeling. For a moment she felt like a child again, whenever she had trouble sleeping her older brother would heat up hot chocolate or milk. Leading with a long deep conversation of life. Normally they would talk about his girlfriend or if Leah found anyone attractive at the time. Those were the memories she cherished the most. Her brother never teased her once nor judged her for being herself around him. Instead he cherished her and supported her no matter what. She really missed him the most right now. Dealing with everything on her own could be challenging. She missed having him around and sharing an apartment with him. "I'm glad you like it. By the way, who was the girl that came in at the last minute? You know the one with brown curly hair and bangs over her forehead?" She took a seat next to the girl who licked her top lip. She ran her thumb over her top lip getting rid of any whip cream.

"You mean Yoon Ah? She's Soo Ah's younger sister." Bada's lips parted softly as she answered with a small 'ah.' Her eyes flickered to the girl, noticing how the corner of her lips form into a small frown. By the look in her eyes earlier. She could tell something had happened between them. Both girls refused to speak to each other let alone say hi. Leah completely ignored the girl, she stayed by Bada's and Tatter's side the entire night. The brunette girl finished her hot chocolate getting up from her seat. She made her way to the sink to wash her mug. Her brown eyes stared at the girls back seeing her own name written across the jersey. "Did something happen between you? I noticed how some people were excited to see her again while others kept their distance." Leah dried the mug with a towel. Her green blue eyes focus on the red mug in front of her. She had completely forgotten that Bada wasn't by her side the entire time.

They had grown apart over the years and grew up without one another. A life they never imagined that they would live without one another. Teenage Leah had always summed that Bada would be in her life forever. That their friendship would overcome any challenge along the way. She was wrong. The biggest challenge for her was living with a heart break. A heart break that she put herself through. The biggest heartbreak she could ever go through. "She's.. She was my first." She spoke softly, it almost sounded like a whisper. Bada nodded her head watching how her shoulders tense. As she folded the small towel again, placing it where she found it. The brunette girl opened a cupboard placing the now clean mug inside. She turned around to face the older girl with a small smile on her face. She didn't want her to think too much about what she had said. There wasn't anything between them anymore. Whatever happened is now in the past and truthful she didn't want to go through that again. "Yeah.. we don't talk anymore. I mean the whole reason Yujin knows Soo Ah is because of me. We kept in touch even after me and her sister ended things."

The older girl nodded her head, she didn't have to ask her anything. Leah has always just ranted around her feeling comfortable. She knew Bada would never judge her and if anything she would just give her opinion on the matter. Leah let out a sigh as she stared down at her hands. Now that Yoon Ah was back she didn't know if things would change. The sole reason that she became close to Soo Ah is because the younger girl had left Korea to study abroad. Now that she's back she feels unsure of things. She didn't know if things with her and Soo Ah would change. She hoped it wouldn't because she didn't want to lose a friend. Someone who she considers as a best friend who picked her up when she was down. Bada stood up from her seat walking around the isle. She wrapped her arms around the short girl. Leah leaned her head against her chest as she placed her arms around the girl's waist. "It's okay, I'm here now. Your best friend is here and I'm not going anywhere." The short girl nodded her head, closing her eyes feeling tears forming in her eyes once again. Bada rubbed her small back as she leaned down kissing the top of her head.

Leah had been the first to fall asleep, her head resting on Bada's chest as she played with her hair. To them it didn't feel uncomfortable or awkward to be sharing the same bed. They had done it multiple times in the past. In some way it felt right to share the bed again. Although they did spend five minutes arguing about who would take the bed. Leah insisted she slept on the couch in the living room not wanting to take the bed. She didn't like kicking people out of their own rooms and didn't mind sleeping on the couch or let alone the cold floor. Bada insisted she take the bed, then decided to just share it. Especially since neither of them wanted to invade Tatter's privacy. At first both girls laid fully wide awake on the bed staring up at the ceiling. And it wasn't until they started to hear the pouring rain hitting the window seal that the brunette's eyes started to flutter close. She actually had been the first to make the move. Without thinking twice she shuffled her body closer to the tall girl.

She wrapped her arms around her waist as her forehead leaned against her back. This caused her brown eyes to flutter open in surprise. She lifted her left arm up tilting her head to the side catching a glimpse of the sleeping girl. The corner of her lips turned upwards as she turned her body laying on her back. She moved her arm over her head watching her place her head onto her chest. This caused her heart to race seeing how close she had gotten to her. Even her legs tangled with hers and all she could hear were her small breaths. She could feel her chest rising and falling as she slept peacefully. Bada's fingers ran through her soft brown hair as she listened to her small breaths mixed with the sound of rain. At some point through the night she also fell into deep slumber. Leah's eyes fluttered open around four in the morning. She shut her eyes, flinching at the sound of roaring thunder echoing in the sky. She hated thunder with everything within her. It wasn't because she feared it. It's because everytime she argued with her mother the blue sky would vanish in a matter of seconds. Being clouded by gray dark clouds and roaring thunder. That's how she knew when bad things would happen or maybe it was the way of the world telling her it was also against her.

She allowed her eyes to flutter open as lightning struck causing the room to lit up. Her blue green eyes landed on Bada who snuggled her face into the crook of her neck. Somehow they had ended switching positions. This time the tall girl had her arms around the girl's lower waist as her right leg was over hers. The corner of Leah's lips turned upwards at the sight of the girl. Her entire hair scattered across her face including her bangs. She raised hand up pushing the hair strands to the side. She pushes herself back a little, getting a better view of her face. She rubbed her thumb over her soft cheek hearing her hum in response. She bit her lower lip staring at the girl in front of her. Leah had always been the one to stay awake at night. She would spend most of the night staring at the sleeping girl. Her heart melts each time she gotta see her sleeping resting face. At night was the only time she would confess to the girl without her knowing. She would whisper to her about multiple things receiving hums in response. She knew the girl wasn't listening just by how quiet she would remain. There's also the fact that she paid attention to how her eyelids moved. She knew when the girl was faking it by how her lashes would flutter ever so often.

As the younger girl stayed in a trance watching the girl sleep. Bada snuggled closer into the crook of her neck. "Stop staring and go to sleep." She could hear the raspiness in her soft voice. Causing her to nod in response. She wrapped her arms tightly around the girl's body. Her left hand landed on the back of her head as she held her tightly.

Driving to a restaurant to meet up for lunch with Soo Ah and Yujin, the brunette girl hummed to Best Part by Daniel Caeser playing on the radio. She didn't have much planned today and wanted nothing more than to just sleep. Of course, Soo Ah wanted to have lunch with her and thanked her for yesterday. It was extremely difficult for the girl to get out of bed, especially on a rainy Sunday. She wanted nothing more than to lay in bed watching movies while drinking coffee. She had to borrow clothes from Bada to even look somewhat presentable. She wore her black crop top with the black sweatpants from last night. They were a big baggy on her but she didn't mind it all. After all she didn't have anyone to look good for. She always just dressed up for herself. Bada was sweet enough to take her down to her car. She even proceeds to hug her and kiss the top of her head saying goodbye to her. Something that made Leah's heart flutter, she couldn't hide the lingering smile on her face. Arriving at the location she parked her car and grabbed her bag. She headed inside telling the waitress the name of the reservation. She guided her to the table only for her smile to face at the sight of Yoon Ah.

She took a sharp inhale in thanking the waitress as she sat next to Yujin. The short haired girl gave her an apologetic look. This wasn't her idea at all, she didn't even know what her girlfriend had been planning until she arrived. "You're finally here, Leah." The blonde girl smiled brightly, extending her hands out to grab Leah's hands. This caused the girl to giggle as she held her hands watching how excited she had gotten. The lunch had been awkward at least for the brunette girl. She didn't think she would have to sit in silence listening to Soo Ah make conversation with her girlfriend and sister. Although she knew they weren't trying to make her feel excluded. That's exactly how she felt. She also didn't try to but in conversations knowing it would make things more weird. Instead she remained silent picking at her food and minding her own business. She didn't finish her spaghetti, not when had already had breakfast with Bada. She would nod, smile or even fake laugh whenever they turned their attention to her. Anytime she did speak she would keep it short and simple. Not wanting to elongate the conversation about herself or her life. She's comfortable with Soo Ah and Yujin but that didn't mean that nothing had changed between her and Yoon Ah.

At one point the couple got up to use the restroom, more like Soo Ah dragged her girlfriend away from the table. She wanted the two girls to converse with one another without her being there. I mean she had planned this whole lunch for them to get into some kind of agreement. She didn't want to choose between her sister and best friend. Instead she wanted them to try to get along around her. It broke her heart seeing them like this. Leah bit her lower lip as she pulled her phone out checking on her messages. She had two from Bada causing the corner of her lips to twitch upwards.

Mar💙🌊

You left your jacket here.... I think I'll keep it. It looks quite nice on me.

Mar💙🌊

How's the lunch going?

The girl didn't hesitate to reply back knowing how impatient Bada could be at times. She was definitely the person to double text. Sometimes she would even go out of her way to spam you with messages just for you to answer. "How have you been, Le?" Her smile faded as she locked her phone. She set it down next to her plate as she lifted her head. Her green blue eyes landed on the curly haired girl who sat across from her. A bright smile on her face as she leaned her arms on the wooden table. She awaited her answer wanting to hear her sweet calming voice. When Yoon Ah heard that the brunette girl would be at her sister's birthday party. She couldn't help but feel excited to see her again. It has been years since the last time they spoke to each other let alone seen each other. Yoon had kept tabs on the girl, she would constantly stalk her social media. She would make sure to watch the dance competitions just to see her group perform. "I'm fine. What about you?" Leah reaches for her glass of water. Brining the glass to her lips she took a sip of it. Allowing the cold freezing water to roll down her throat.

"I'm happy now that I get to see you again. It's been years since the last time we saw each other. I didn't think you would keep in touch with unnie." The uncomfortable girl nodded her head. A straight smile on her face as she stared at the girl in front of her. She had changed seats to get a better view of Leah, noticing how she didn't wear one ounce of makeup across her face. The girl also happened to smell different then when she did last night. She had a huge strong scent of coconut mixed with floral. She knew this wasn't her signature smell. Leah was the type of person to love sweeter subtle smells mixed with fruity. She always smelled like a mixture of vanilla, chocolate and cucumbers. They were all weird different smells that you would never think would go together. Yet, Leah always managed to make them smell even better together. "Are you seeing anyone?" Yoon tilted her head to the side, batting her eyelashes at the girl. She raised a brow up in pure curiosity wanting to know. She knew she wasn't seeing anyone or dating at all. But that didn't mean she hadn't seen how the tall with blonde highlights stayed attached to her the entire night or how they both left tougher. She hadn't missed how Bada had wrapped an arm around Leah's small waist as she guided her outside the club.

Leah stared at the girl with a blank face, she didn't understand where all these questions were coming from? A moment ago she didn't dare glance her way or give her the time of day. Now that her sister was gone she wanted to talk. Her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned back onto the chair. "Look Yoon Ah, the only reason I agreed to come was because Soo Ah asked me to. I had no idea you would be here nor does it affect me. I'm sure that Soo Ah wants us to come to some sorta of agreement. Let's just stay acquaintances and out of each other's lives. I'll play along like we get along just to make your sister happy but that's it." She spoke with a straight face. Her eyes hardened as she stared at the happy girl across from her. Yoon nodded her head with a hurtful look across her face, her smile dropping. She picked up the fork in front of her playing with her sister's leftovers. They didn't say anything else and stayed quiet for the time being. Nothing was said but everything was said through the silence between them. Her eyes landed on the bracelet around her wrist. The same bracelet that Leah had made for her when they were seventeen years old. She couldn't afford anything at the time and relied on crafting things.

A small smile formed on her lips as she raised her wrist up wanting to show the girl. Her eyes landed on the phone that buzzed and lit up across from her.  Leah followed her gaze landing on the new message from Bada. Unfortunately Yoon Ah couldn't read the text message because the girl had it in private. The message could only be read once the device has been unlocked. All she could read was the name of whoever sent the message. She tilted her head to the side reading Mar..? The name didn't sound familiar to her at all. The Korean Mexican girl glanced down at the table seeing a message from Bada. She reached over for her phone watching the phone unlock with her face. The corner of her lips twitched upwards seeing a picture of Bada and Tatter together. "You're not even going to apologize for what happened?" Hearing her ask that question caused her to take a sharp inhale in. Her fingers pinching the bridge of her nose as she contained her anger in. Letting out a small breath she shoved her phone into her front pocket. Her eyes hardened as she stared at the unrecognizable girl in front of her.

Although she looked almost the same as when they met, she didn't recognize her. She wasn't the same nor did she want to get to know her. She wanted nothing to do with her. Shaking her head in disbelief she grabbed her purse not wanting to be in the same room as her. Her eyes landed on the couple who approached them making kissy faces at one another. "I have nothing to say to you. I'm off, unnie." Leah made her way around the table embracing the blonde girl. She kissed her cheek before she left the restaurant. Yujin let out a sigh as her eyes followed the older girl knowing this lunch didn't go as planned. She allowed her body to drop onto the chair.

Ivy removed her shoes by the door hearing the door close behind her. Her dark brown eyes searched around the apartment for Leah. She had received a text message from Yujin and she couldn't help but worry about the girl. She knew how much Yoon Ah's appearance would affect her. The raven haired girl let out a huge sigh crossing her arms over her chest. Her brown eyes landed on the younger girl who threw her head back taking a shot of tequila. "Your drinking again?" The brunette girl didn't answer, instead she poured herself another shot. Ivy took a seat on the soft couch, her eyes wandering to the table seeing an empty bottle of soju. An empty glass that had a single droplet of red wine in it next to the bottle. The older girl furrowed her brows as she watched the girl take another shot. She didn't think her return would affect her so much. God not even seeing Bada for the first time again had this much effect on her. Both situations and girls were different, which is why Leah reacted differently upon seeing them again.
