I was sitting at the pool area on the cruise ship that my parents had brought my sister and
I on a vacation. Barcelona was beautiful and hot but I was going to discover new cities in a couple of days. This cruise ship was amazing; it had so many pools and hot tubs to
choose from. I decided to go in the hot tub where the really cute British guy was in. I had bumped into him earlier when I was getting lunch so it's not like were complete strangers.
Yikes, the hot tub was burning. Maybe, I shouldn't have gone in this one. Now that I'm sitting down, how should I start the convo.
"Hello." The guy greeted first
"Hi, I'm (Y/N)" I replied
"I'm Finn." he answered
"Have you ever been on a cruise before?" I asked
"Nope, you?"
"Tons of times. I love travelling."
"We have something in common, I love to travel.".
Finn and I continued to talk for a while in the hot tub. You know how they have warnings to stay in hot tubs for 15 minutes max? Well lets say that we stayed A LOT longer than that.
"I probably should go and get ready for dinner." I sadly told him
"Same here, do you want to hang out later tonight?"
"Sure, lets meet here around 8:00?"
"See you then."
I was walking back to my room to go get ready when I noticed that there was a guy that looked exactly like Finn in the room in front of me. He should really shut the door to his room.
"Finn?" I asked
"I think you mean Jack. I'm his twin brother. Are you the girl he was hanging out in the hot tub with?"
"He never mentioned that he had a twin... I guess I'm lucky to have two good looking guys living in front of me. "Well I should probably get going. It's nice to meet you (Y/N)."
***Two days later***
Finn and I were really hitting it off. We hunged out ever since I met him two days go. He was one of the sweetest, caring guys I have ever met in my life. At the moment, I was waiting for Finn on the deck since we are supposed to watch a movie by the pool.
"Hello love," I heard the now familiar british voice say behind me. He took me by the waist and turned me around so that I would be facing him.
"Hello Finn." I said blushing madly at his actions.
"Are you excited to watch the NoteBook?" he asked
"The NoteBook? I absolutely love that movie." I said
Finn and I were sitting on our own lounge chairs watching the movie. We were about half way in the movie when I started to get cold from the constant wind. I think Finn noticed because he said :
" Come here (Y/N)," he said patting the spot beside him.
I didn't hesitate, I was freezing. When I went to sit beside him, he put his arms around my waist and nuzzled his head in my shoulder. I could feel his heart beathing against my body. This moment couldn't get any better.
"This feels perfect," he stated
I didn't know what to say, I was shocked at his remark. Was he implying that he liked me or was he just being nice? We stayed like this until the movie was over; when it finished, Finn and I walked back to our rooms. When we were at our doors, Finn turned around.
"(Y/N), can we speak before you go to sleep?"
"Let me take my shower and put my PJ's and i'll meet you at the cafe."
After I took my shower, I went to the cafe where Finn and I were supposed to meet. Finn was sitting at the corner table, his hair was wet from a shower he probably took. He was drinking hot chocolat; he looked so hot like that. Did I like him? I was asking myself this question since the movie.
"Hey Finn."
"(Y/N), I need to tell you something."
" Go for it."
"I erm...like you. It's okay if you don't like me back ; I just didn't want to spend the whole cruise just being friends. I wanted to be more than friends. If thats alright with you? I know it's kind of quick but we have two more weeks to get to know each other more. What do you say?"
I knew my answer but was I a 100% sure that I wanted to do this. What if my answer ruined the friendship we established.
"Hey Guys." Jack showed up to ruin the moment.
"Erm...we were kind of busy bro."
"Oh I'm sorry but I never see you anymore since (Y/N) keeps taking you away from me."
" Hey, I'm right here Jack." I teased
"Well I better go before my brother kills me."
"Bye Jack," I shouted as he ran awy
"Well, I'll walk you back to your room." Finn said
Finn hadn't spoke about him asking me to be his girlfriend. I was about to go in the hallway to our rooms when I turned around to be face to face with Finn
"I'll be your girlfriend, Finn"I said smirking
I could see that Finn was hesitating to do something but then he did something that I least expected. He kissed me. It was sweet, pationate and smooth. It was my first kiss and I was glad I waited for it.
"Get a room guys." Jack showed up from nowhere
"Maybe you should find yourself Jack." I teased
"Can I have one last kiss before I go to bed?"
" Mhm, let me think about it. Sure."
I kissed him one more time before skipping off to my room. I had the biggest smile on my face.
* Onr week and a half later *
Tomorrow is the day that the cruise journey is coming to an end. Would this mean that Finn and mines relashionship will come to an end as well? Tonight was the formal dinner, Finn and I were going together. Our parents had gotten to know each other during these past few days and Jack still has been bugging us each second of the day. Finn was still his charming self and in these past days, there have been a lot of kissing.
" Hello Beautiful." he said while putting his arm around my waist.
"Hey Handsome," I gave him a peck on he cheek.
Finn was in a tuxedo while I was in a white gown. He looked incredible tonight.
"You really do look beautiful." he wispered in my ear.
"Thanks," I said while blushing madly.
The dinner was amazing, I never thought that I would have so much fun on this trip. I felt bad for my parents since I hadn't even spent time with them. Oh well, we were going to drive somewhere to spend the next week at.
"Are you ready to go dancing (Y/N)?" Finn asked
"Where?"
"I got us tickets to the under the moonlight dance."
"Shall we go?"
"Yes we shall" he replied
It was aboslutely beautiful outside. Finn and I were currently dancing to Hero.

If i asked you to dance?

Would you cry
If you saw me crying?
And would you save my soul, tonight?
"Let me be your hero" Finn wispered at the end of the song.
"Finn what's going to happen to us after the cruise?" I asked eager to know the answer all day
"Can we go sit somewhere and talk about this?"
"Sure," I said as we sat down on a bench
"Listen (Y/N)," he said while holding my hand " We can make this work, even if we will have a five hour difference. I will stay up late at night to be able to skype with you or call you. I'll never forget about you because these two weeks have been incredible and i'll never forget them. Please stay with me. I love you." he said with tears forming in his eyes
"I love you too," this was the first time we confess our love for each other. Love was a big word, it meant a promise that you will love the person for anything. I knew that I was willing to love Finn.
"And you are starting grade 12 in the fall which means that you are finishing high school this year and if you do apply for Oxford University and you do get in than we could see each other more often. And maybe later on then we could share a flat."
" I promise to skype you every night and call you as often as I can."
"Well we don't have to skype every night but every so often to see each other. I'll try to fly to you if I can."
"Just don't forget about me" I said
"How could I forget avout the most gorgeous or the most beautiful, nicest and sweetest girl I have ever met.
"I really do love you Finn." I told Finn
"Now let's have one more dance before the night comes to an end."
***The next morning***
I was waiting to leave the boat with my parents and sister. Jack and Finn weren't in their rooms when I passed by so my only hope was that they were waiting to leave as I was. I waited impatiently to get out, my only fear was that I would leave without seeing Finn's face one last time. It was then that I felt the familiar hands wrap around my waist and turned me around. I was face with the beautiful creature I called my boyfriend.
"I had to say one last goodbye." he said while kissing my nose and giving me a hug.
"I'll miss you." I kissed his lips
"Miss you too, I love you" he replied
"(Y/N), hurry up!" your parents screamed
"I love you Finn. Skype me when you get to Algeria."
"I will." He waved
"Can I have a hug?" Jack teased
"Bye Jack, i'll see you when I skype Finn." I gave him a hug
I waved goodbye to my new bestfriend and my boyfriend that I will miss despretly and won't see for a long time.
*In the car*
"Where are we going Dad?" I asked
"We are going to Algeria." mom replied
"Wait, what?" Omg I was going to see Finn again
"Your mom and I decided that we would go for a week to Algeria instead of Spain since we've already been to Spain and we wanted to catch up with the Harries. I'm sure you're happy to know this."
" I love you so much." I said overly excited
I was going to see my boyfriend and bestfriend again.
