Viaanshi's Pov:-

"Viaanshi, Viaanshi,"

someone called, breaking my trance. I lifted my gaze to find everyone seated around me.

Embarrassed, I immediately looked away, wondering what they were thinking of me. I noticed all the elders were already seated on their places.

While their children were still at their work places like my brothers. Tanya and Mrs. Raichand seemed particularly displeased, throwing daggers with their eyes. As I glanced around, Anaya aunt caught my attention, asking,

"How are you, beta?" With a soft smile, I replied,

"I'm good, Aunt. How about you?" She smiled warmly, saying,

"Absolutely fine after seeing you."

I smiled back, and she suddenly moved to sit beside me. Surprised, I looked at her, and she remarked,

"I remember holding you when you were just a baby. Look at you now, like a fairy princess." Heat rushed to my cheeks, flushing them with embarrassment.

Tanya's piercing stare made me squirm uncomfortably, but I tried to focus on Anaya aunt instead.

After sometimes I found myself relaxing, forgetting momentarily about the piercing stares from Tanya and Mrs. Raichand. Anaya aunt's presence beside me seemed to shield me from the judgmental gazes of the others.

Her genuine affection and kind words enveloped me like a protective cloak, easing my discomfort.

Suddenly the house helper approached with a tray of starters and drinks, I eagerly reached out to take one, my mouth watering at the thought of the delicious treats.

But just as I extended my hand, a sudden jolt caused me to lose my grip, and the glass slipped from the tray, spilling its contents all over me.

As the liquid drenched my dress, staining the fabric and leaving me feeling utterly mortified. I could feel the eyes of everyone in the room on me, their expressions a mixture of shock and confusion.

Tanya's smirk was unmistakable, and Mrs. Raichand's disapproving frown only added to my embarrassment.

Third person's Pov:-

"Oh no, Viaanshi! Let me help you," Adheer, Shreyansh's cousin who just came exclaimed, his voice filled with concern as he hurried to her side.

Viaanshi looked at him in confusion, her brows furrowing slightly as she realized she didn't know who he was.

Sensing her puzzled expression, he quickly introduced himself.

"I'm Adheer Oberoi, son of Akshara and Abhiraj Oberoi," he said, gesturing towards his parents.

With a nod and a smile, Viaanshi replied,

"Nice to meet you, Adheer. I'm Viaanshi Raichand."

Adheer's gaze shifted to her stained dress, his expression sympathetic.

"I can see your dress is completely ruined. You should clean it up as soon as possible."

Viaanshi glanced down at her dress, a sigh escaping her lips as she realized the extent of the damage.

"It's okay, Adheer. I'll just go clean up," Viaanshi replied, trying to mask her disappointment.

With a reassuring smile, Adheer offered his arm.

"Come, I'll show you to the bathroom."

Gratefully, Viaanshi linked her arm with his as they navigated through the crowd.

But just as they reached the staircase, Adheer's phone rang, interrupting their progress.

"Sorry, Viaanshi. I need to take this call. Go ahead to the bathroom on the second floor, first one on the left. I'll catch up with you shortly," Adheer said apologetically, already engrossed in his conversation.

Alone now, Viaanshi ascended the staircase, her heart pounding with nerves. She found herself in a dimly lit hallway, the soft glow of the chandeliers casting shadows on the ornate wallpaper.

Following Adheer's directions she made her way to the first bathroom on the left.

As she entered the lavishly decorated room, Viaanshi couldn't help but marvel at its opulence.

Marble countertops gleamed under the soft lighting, and a large, ornate mirror adorned the wall.

She quickly set to work, dabbing at the stain on her dress with a damp cloth.

But as she scrubbed at the stubborn mark, a sense of unease crept over her. The silence of the empty hallway seemed to press in on her, and she couldn't shake the feeling of being watched.

Just as she was about to abandon her efforts and return to the hall, a soft voice broke the silence.

"Need any help?"

Startled, Viaanshi turned to see the same man whom she accidentally met yesterday, standing in the doorway, a concerned look on his face.

Viaanshi glanced at him, struck by his devilish charm as he stood there in his smart office attire, exuding an aura of sophistication .

Viaanshi's gaze swept over Shreyansh, taking in every detail with a mix of fascination and intrigue. His dark, impeccably tailored suit hugged his frame perfectly, accentuating his broad shoulders and trim waist.

A crisp white shirt peeked out from beneath the jacket, complemented by a sleek tie knotted with precision.

His hair was neatly styled, a touch of tousled perfection adding an air of casual elegance to his overall appearance. A subtle hint of cologne lingered in the air around him, a tantalizing blend of musk and spice that drew her in closer.

But it wasn't just his appearance that captivated her; it was the way he carried himself with effortless confidence, his posture exuding a sense of poise and self-assurance.

There was a magnetic quality to him, a charisma that seemed to command attention without him even trying.

As Viaanshi stood there, momentarily transfixed by Shreyansh's presence, she felt a flutter of excitement mingled with a hint of apprehension.

It was as if she had stumbled upon a mystery waiting to be unraveled, and she couldn't wait to see where it would lead.

Suddenly, memories from the previous day flashed before her eyes, igniting a spark of anger within her.

"What are you doing here? Who let you in? And who even are you, mister?" Viaanshi exclaimed angrily, her voice laced with frustration.

Shreyansh took slow steps towards her and placed his index finger on her lips, his blue eyes captivating her completely.

"Shhh!" he whispered softly, his gaze holding hers with an intensity that stole her breath away.

As Shreyansh placed a finger over Viaanshi's lips, her anger dissipated, replaced by confusion and a strange allure emanating from his piercing blue eyes. She found herself unable to speak, mesmerized by his gaze.

"Just be quiet," Shreyansh whispered, his voice soft yet commanding, sending a shiver down her spine.

Viaanshi's heart raced as she struggled to comprehend the situation.

Who was this mysterious man, and why did he seem to hold such power over her emotions?

Before she could react, Shreyansh swiftly pressed her against the nearby wall, his hands firmly but not painfully gripping hers.

"Quiet," he commanded softly.

"Consider it a request, not an order."

Viaanshi was beyond shocked by his sudden action. She couldn't understand why her body responded to his touch in such a surprising way.

Instead of feeling repulsed, she felt an unexpected attraction, a magnetism that drew her closer to him.

Shreyansh took a moment to observe her appearance. She wore a simple black one-piece dress with minimal jewelry and makeup, yet she looked utterly captivating, her beauty radiating from within.

As Shreyansh took in Viaanshi's appearance, he couldn't help but feel captivated by her presence.

Her eyes held a hint of defiance, yet there was something vulnerable beneath the surface, a fragility that called out to be treasured.

Feeling a pang of guilt for his abruptness, Shreyansh released her hands and took a step back, allowing Viaanshi some space.

"I apologize for my actions," he said, his voice softer now. "I didn't mean to startle you."

Viaanshi took a moment to compose herself, still trying to make sense of the whirlwind of emotions coursing through her.

"It's... it's okay," she managed to say, her voice slightly shaky, betraying the turmoil within.

There was a brief silence between them, filled with tension and uncertainty. Shreyansh broke the silence first, his expression earnest and tender.

"Come," he beckoned her over, gently taking her hands as they stood before the mirror. With tender care, he began to delicately clean her dress, while Viaanshi watched him in admiration, her heart swelling with affection.

As Viaanshi stood before the mirror, her heart raced with anticipation. She watched as he gently took her hands in his, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

The reflection in the mirror captured their intimate moment, a tableau of affection and tenderness that took her breath away.

With each delicate stroke, he cleaned her dress, his movements filled with care and devotion.

Viaanshi couldn't help but admire him, her gaze fixed on his mesmerizing eyes reflected in the mirror. In that moment, time seemed to stand still, as if the universe itself was holding its breath, savoring the beauty of their connection.

As he finished cleaning her dress, he looked up at her with a soft smile, his eyes filled with unspoken love and adoration.

Viaanshi's heart swelled with emotion, overwhelmed by the depth of feeling between them. In that simple gesture of cleaning her dress, she felt cherished and adored in a way she had never known before.

Silently, they stood together, lost in each other's gaze, the mirror bearing witness to their love.

And in that reflection, they saw not just themselves, but the promise of a future filled with endless moments of love and devotion.

Suddenly, Viaanshi's phone pierced the moment with its ringtone, shattering the spell that had fallen over them.

Hastily answering, she found Aradhana on the line, urgently summoning her. With a murmured agreement, Viaanshi moved to leave, but Shreyansh grasped her arm, halting her.

Turning to face him, she met his gaze, puzzled by the emotions she saw there a mixture of longing and reluctance to let her go.

"I have to go," Viaanshi managed to say, her voice strained with the weight of their shared emotions.

Shreyansh released her hand, turning away as she cast one last look before departing from there, her heart heavy with the depart.

As Viaanshi descended the stairs, she spotted her brothers waiting for her. Excitement bubbled up inside her, and she rushed towards them, enveloping them in a tight hug, eliciting laughter from both of them.

"Dinner's ready, let's go!" Anaya announced, her voice warm and inviting.

With unanimous agreement, they all proceeded towards the dining area, Viaanshi walking alongside her brothers, their laughter and banter filling the air with a sense of familiarity and comfort.

As they entered the dining area, the aroma of freshly cooked food wafted through the air, tantalizing their senses.

Viaanshi's stomach rumbled in anticipation as she took her seat beside her brothers, her mouth watering at the prospect of the delicious meal to come.

Anaya, the gracious host, began serving dishes onto each plate with practiced ease, her movements fluid and assured.

The table soon filled with an array of delicious dishes, from savory curries to fragrant rice and crispy naan bread, each item beckoning to be savored.

Suddenly, Adhiraj's voice cut through the comfortable silence,

"Where's Ansh?"

"He's already had dinner at the office. He won't be joining us now. I'll have his coffee sent over with a helper," Anaya replied, her tone matter-of-fact, prompting a nod from Adhiraj before he continued his meal.

Just at the mention of Shreyansh's name, Viaanshi felt her heartbeat quicken, a flutter of anticipation and nervousness stirring within her.

As the conversation shifted to other topics, Viaanshi found herself lost in her thoughts, her mind wandering to memories of Shreyansh.

Despite the cheerful atmosphere around the dining table, a sense of longing crept into her heart, a bittersweet ache that she couldn't quite shake.

She tried to focus on the meal before her, savoring each bite, but every mention of Shreyansh reignited a flurry of emotions within her, a heady mix of excitement and apprehension that threatened to overwhelm her.

"Did you call for me, ma'am?" the house helper's voice broke through her reverie, drawing Viaanshi's attention back to the present moment.

Anaya nodded at the helper and instructed,

"Please go to the second floor, ring the bell, and set this coffee on the side for Shreyansh. He can't function without his coffee."

As she spoke, Viaanshi was stunned, realization dawning on her like a bolt of lightning. The person she had encountered earlier was none other than Shreyansh himself.

A flood of embarrassment washed over her as she recalled their previous encounters, her cheeks flushing crimson with the weight of her newfound knowledge.

Immediately after dinner concluded, Viaanshi hastily made her way to the car, barely managing to mutter a quick goodbye to everyone.

She was overwhelmed by a sense of embarrassment and a desire to avoid facing Shreyansh in that moment, desperate to escape the torrent of emotions that threatened to engulf her.
