Shannon's P.O.V
* beep beep* my alarm goes on and I switch it off
I get up and go to the bathroom and wash up and head to Grace's room
I open the door and turn the lights on
" WAKEY WA- Katy?"
" yeah" she says as she rubs her eyes
" didn't know you were here"
She smiles and wakes Grace up then goes to her room and I help Grace get ready
I sit on her bed as she gets done and we go down
We walk down the stairs together
" auntie Shan?"
" yeah"
" Where's daddy"
" he went out for a walk" wow nice lie Shannon I think to myself
" can I have some cereal"
She points to the cupboard above
" sure" I put some cereal in a bowl and pour some milk in the bowl for her and hear footsteps coming from the stairs
" oh Grace look who decided to wake up "
She looks back to Katy with Hope in her arms
" MOMMYY"
Katy walks over to Grace and gives her a kiss on the forehead
Katy walks over to the living room and puts Hope on a couch
" well you're all dressed up"
" yeah I'm coming with you guys, I can't miss this day. um Shan did you let her do her hair?"
" yeah it's cute"
" oh my gosh Shan" I role me eyes
Katy had a comb in her bag so she starts combing Grace's hair and put her bangs on a side
Katy calls the nanny and in no time she gets here
7:15 am
" seven fifteen let's get going"
Katy gets up and Grace holds my hand as we walk to the car
Grace buckles in and Katy gets in front and so do I
I start the car and drive off to Graces school
" so Grace are you excited? You're gonna have so much fun and you'll have a lot of friends" Katy's tells her
" I dunno. mommy"
" mhm"
" where's daddy"
" he's sleeping over at his fri-" I cut her off
" he'll be back"
Minutes later we get to Graces school and
the paps were already there
" ugh"
" it's ok Kate we'll make our way in"
I get Graces bag and hold her hand tightly as I push our way through and Katy does the same in front of us
We get in and find our way to Graces class
" Katy stand next to her let me take a picture of you two"
Grace stands next to Katy and doesn't smile but it isn't a frown
I take a picture of the two of them and Katy starts talking to Grace
" ok Grace I'm gonna leave for now and pick you up in just a couple of hours you're gonna have fun ok?"
She shakes her head
I kinda got bored of waiting and I didn't want to see her cry cause I know that would just make Katy feel worse
" Grace" I go down to her level " if you stay I'll take you out to wherever you want after school ok and we'll have fun"
She smiles
" ok now go to the group of girls over there and play with them" I say as I point to a group of girls
She runs up to the girls and as soon as she starts playing with them Katy and I leave
" thanks for that"
" my pleasure and now we just gotta make our way out"
We make our way to my car and I drive off
" where are we off to" Katy asks
" my place then I'll call Johnny and Tamra to come over to your place are you fine with that"
" sounds like a plan"
We get to my place and I pack some clothes and get some snacks cause Katy wants me at her place till things get better and I understand her
We leave my place and head to hers and once we get there Katy heads up to her room and I unpack my things and I call Johnny and Tamra to come over.
I head to Katy's room and knock the door
" come in"
" hey"'
" hey are they coming"
" yeah and they'll be here any minute now"
She nods
Katy's P.O.V
The doorbell rings
" I'll go get it" Shannon says and I walk down after her
I get down and say hi and everything then we sit in the living room
" how've things been lately Katy?"
" don't even ask about it"
" Katy have you decided about tour"
" yeah I'll be going in May"
" you sure?"
"Yeah"
" ok just text us your ideas, oh and when are you due"
" sure will and I've already written down my ideas. I'm due in a couple of weeks, October"
" oh where's John" Johnny asks
" I don't know " I get up and go to the kitchen and I could hear Shannon whispering things to them
I get back and throw the water bottles to each of them
2 pm
Tamra and Johnny left earlier
" Shan I think we should get going"
" yeah just a second"
I make sure Hope is fine with the nanny then we get in her car and drive off to Graces room and it's weird that there weren't any paps around so we both get down and get to Graces class
" oh hello Mrs.Perry if you're looking for Grace she has left with her father"
" are you sure it was her father?" I ask worried
" yes I assume it was"
I walk back to the car not caring where Shannon was and lay my back on the car
" how dare him take her" I sob
" Katy I'll try and call him"
Shannon calls John
5 minutes later she hangs up and I could tell something is wrong
" where is he and where's Grace"
" he's been in Montana since last night and Grace I don't know"
I get my phone out and call John and make sure Shannon is away
Please answer I think to myself
" Katy?"
" John?" I sob
" Katy what's wrong and where's Grace"
" I don't know I came with Shan to pick her up but she isn't here and isn't nowhere around the school"
" Kate just stay calm I'll come back to L.A as soon as possible I'll catch the closest flight just stay calm, I love you"
He hung up before I could say another word and Shannon come running up to me
" Katy I see her!"
" what where"
She ran as I get up and Shannon points to a corner in the school
I walk as fast I can and Shannon runs up to Grace
" Grace?"
" mommy?" She cries
Her clothes were ripped and she had scars on her face and her face was red probably from being slapped
" get up bee let's get out of here"
Shannon carries her and we walk to the car
" hospital?" She asks me
" yeah"
Shannon drives to the hospital and Grace is on my lap
We get to the hospital and get Grace checked and she has bandages almost everywhere and they give her a iv which made her calm and also made her sleep
1 hour later
4pm
My phone rings and I answer it
" hello John"
" yeah Kate where are you guys I'm home"
" we're at the hospital the usual one "
" you found her"
" yeah I'll tell you everything when you're here"
" ok see you babe"
He hangs up
Wait he called me babe.
Now I know he won't be mad and all I have to do is to try and control my mood swings and I hope that he understands.
