Chapter 4

Katy's P.O.V

* knock knock*

" I'll get it" I say as I get up and open the door for officer Tate

" hello" he smiles

" hi" I reply

I go to where John is sitting on the couch and John follows.

" have a seat" John says as officer Tate sits in front of us

I sit down on the couch next to John as Grace lays her head on my thigh and sleeps as we talk to officer Tate

" so you said he's in this area Taima right" John says

" yeah and I've actually rented a car to take you there to where Russell is"

" then what are you two waiting for come on let's go"

I carry grace on one hip as she rests her head on my shoulder sleeping.

We walk to officer Tate's car and get buckled in. John in the front next to officer Tate and Grace and I in the back.

" how far is it till Taima" John asks

" about a hour away but I think it'll be safer to put Grace in a daycare just for some hours till we get things done"

John turns around and looks at me and I nod

We get to the daycare and drop Grace off but of course she had to throw s tantrum before leaving her but she calmed down 10 minutes later

We get back in the car and a hour later we get to Taima

" this place is awful" John comments

" yeah and really freaky, look at that house at the corner with broken windows"

" Ms.Mayer Russell is actually there"

I do not say another word till we get there

Officer Tate parks in front of the broken house and we get down from the car and walk to the entrance

I got closer to open the door and before I could knock the door opens and Russell is standing right In front of me with a scary look on his face

I freak out and jump back to John

" oh Katy you'll never change always too scared and week" Russell laughs

" how dare you say that about my wife" John walks towards him and punches him as office Tate cuffs Russells hands before he could do any other move

" get in" officer Tate tell Russell with a stern voice as we all get in and sit on the floor couches

Officer Tate makes John and I sit next to them but Russell in front of him so he could ask him questions

" now before anything you do know what we're here for" the officer asks Russell

" no"

" ok now where's their daughter"

" who"

" where's Hope. The Mayers daughter" he says as he pull a gun out aiming it to Russell

" Okok he's with my friend and his wife in Qadsiya"

" this country has the weirdest city names I swear " I whisper to Johns ear

" should we go" John asks officer Tate

" just wait till the other cops get here, he'll be arrested for 8 months for kidnapping"
