Yayyyy finally updated after 6 months lol sorry guys

Katy's P.O.V

" oh I'm sorry Ma'am but every child thats been sent in the past 5 days are now at a camp since our adoption center is full but they will get sent to an adoption center tomorrow but they'll all be separated and I don't know how this could work cause if anyone wants to adopt them they could till you get to them since you are their birth mother, but I'm sorry theres not much I could do today" She says as she frowns at the end

"But I could still get them?" I ask in confusion

" Yes you may that's only if they don't send them some place else then in that case we'd have to be looking around the foster homes all around the country" she says as she weirdly furrows her eyebrows staring at me

" Okay" I sigh "Is it ok if I leave my contact information with you so you could maybe give a call when you know they've been sent to wherever it is they'd be sent to?" I ask

" I sure will" She says a she hands me a sticky note with a pen to write down my contact info.

" Excuse me" Grace says and the kind lady smiles at her " Will you help me find my sisters?" She asks

" I sure will do everything I could" she tells Grace as she squirms out of my arms and goes to the lady and gives her a hug then whispers something into her ear that I couldn't hear at all. Then she comes back to me and reaches her arms out, so I carry her back again on my hip.

" Now since you have my contact info and all this is all we could do, I guess so right?" I ask "yes just think of it as a waiting game, you're gonna get your kids back" she smiles as she holds my hand by both her hands. I smile and say 'thank you' then leave the building not knowing where to go since John is probably still at my parents.

Oh Starbucks! How could I possibly forget? oh my poor babies they're probably starving right now, I hope not.

"Grace honey you wanna go to Starbucks or stay at Grandma's and Grandpa's till I'm back?" Well that was a random thought but I really do need some time alone
"I'll go to Starbucks with you mommy" She says while resting her head on the car seat and closing her eyes

Just as we get closer to Starbucks my phone begins to ring and I answer it on the cars Bluetooth speaker. The name shows up on the screen and it's Shannon...

K: Hello?

S: Hey Katy... Could you come over? I just wanna explain everything I promise you it wasn't supposed to happen and I don't know how she got taken away!

K: Don't worry Shan... It's alright

S: Katy are you crying? Are you alright??

K: I'm fine it's just the girls... They're gone

S: WHAT?! Katy come to my place right now!

K: Well Grace is with me so I guess I'll come over some other time. I gotta go now I'll talk to you later

She hangs up as I park into the Starbucks parking lot. After parking I walk to the back seat where Grace is still sleeping and try to slowly wake her up.

"Grace mommy's too tired to carry, wake up so we could get some snacks honey" She slowly begins to rub her eyes as I unbuckle her car seats seat belt as she hops out of the car.

Once we were in I got Grace a donut which she said she wanted with some strawberry juice as I got myself a coffee

"Name please?"

"Grace" I look down at Grace as she smiles back at me. The place was empty so I didn't really mind wherever we sat so we sat by a window that was next to the entrance door.

~ A while later ~

Before leaving Starbucks I decide we should head back to my parents to sort all of his shit with John and if I'm gonna have to call it quits for the both of us then I will but maybe just for a while...

The car ride home remained silent not till...
