Chapter 22

Katy's P.O.V

She refused to wake up so I quickly changed into some clothes and got a bag that was a bit big so I could put the things I need and with everything done I carried Grace and we got a cab

I couldn't do this I don't even know what I'm doing.

" Wait! Stop!" I stop the cabs driver " Grace honey stay here I'll be back in 5 minutes" I walk as fast as I can to the room and thankfully had a key in my pocket. Once I opened the door John was in a deep sleep. I carried Hope in one arm and Faith in the other and walked back down looking like a mess with two blankets almost covering my view. Once I got back in the can we started heading to the airport as I arranged a private jet on the way.

The fanfic actually starts now

My phone buzzes in my pocket, I sigh before slipping my phone out my pocket with two kids heads on me.

Who would possibly text me at this time of the day, it's late in L.A so is it here.

I unlock my phone realizing that they were 2 texts not just 1

The first one was from John... Really not in the mood for him. The second text was from...Russell?!

I decide to see John's text first and it's probably what I think it is, yep it is.

KATY WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE ARE THE KIDS?!

I reply with one simple word not really caring about the world really right now but these 3 kids with me

Katy: airport

I hit send and he almost directly read it.

We get to the airport I get assisted to the private jet and the jets doors for some reason remained open...?

" mommy are we going without daddy?" She says almost in the verge of tears so I have to do something before a tantrum goes on!

" Grace. Come here" I call her from wandering around in the jet "no matter what happens between daddy & I you'll always get to see him and we'll always have time for you" she kisses my cheek and I kiss hers then wanders off again " Grace! Come back here this instant" I yell/whisper

Looks like she's going out the jet & she does run out! I get up as fast as I can as I almost exit the jet but John?! How did he get here

" Grace get back in! You scared me to death" I sigh in relief as the two trade whispers which only they will know as they start laughing

Once again I sigh in relief as I walk back into the jet and sit with the girls

I think back again. What's John doing here & how did he even get here! This isn't going the way it's supposed to be.

Well Tamra & Shannon... They could find their ways back.

Seconds later John and Grace come into the jet, and I just keep my focus out the window. He sets Grace down and walks over to me but stands with one knee bent and starts to look at me for a bit but all my focus what out the window.

" Katy...Katy" still looking out the window
"Katy I know you don't want to listen to anything I say but just hear me out." He sighs
"All I want to do is fix things, change things, but you need to help me do this you can't keep everything to yourself all you're doing is adding a shitload of stress which I may not feel but know about! Katheryn, we have a family which changed a lot of things I remember our life before, but there's nothing we could do all we could do is make things better ourselves. We'll make things change to better, and no harm will come to our family. Remember you go on tour in a couple months , just days that will pass by quick! Do what you do, whatever makes you smile just don't change for me, for us!" He sighs and gets up then sits in front of me. I get lost with words and tears start forming in my eyes and I can't hold them back

I turn my head so we face each other after wiping my tears. " I love you" I slowly say even though those 3 words I just said can't express what I feel

5 minutes later we took off and landed just s couple hours later we finally land back home in L.A. As soon as we got home I placed Faith in her crib and Hope in her bed & Grace is with John.

John's actually reminded me that I go on tour in a couple weeks just 3 months which will all just be rehearsals! Rehearsals start in a week and I need this break to go well. Might as well just go stay at my parents to get the rest I need. It takes me minutes to decide what to do till I agree on staying at my parents for this week then coming back here once rehearsals start.

I start packing some clothes till I have everything I need. With everything done I walk down the stairs and see John in the kitchen. Just as I was about to unlock the door and leave...

" where are you going?" He comes up from behind me

" my parents I'll be back in a week " I say knowing he'll have a lot to say

He walks up to me and quickly gives me a kiss on my forehead then backs up "you need this break and this is all you could get, it's hard for me maybe not as it is for you, but I understand. Be careful it's around a 2 hour drive from here" I just smile and leave avoiding the tears that were forming in my eyes from starting thinking that I'm ready for a new fresh beginning and forgetting all the worry and everything that's happened in the past

10 minutes later

My phone rings and it's a call from John so I answer.

Me: hey John

John: hey Katy, is Grace with you...

A/N: I knowwww its been taking me forever to update but now I'm kinda debating on keeping this fanfic our replacing it with a new one that's better but has a total different story which I'll post later it's called Double Lost Stars!!! Thank you all for reading!
