Chapter 18

Katy's P.O.V

I wake up in the morning with Grace by my side using my phone

" what are you doing" I ask her .she tilts my phone so I could see and she's watching Toy Story.

" I posted a picture on your Twitter account "

" what? Let me see!" The moment I realize I shouldn't have told her my password.

She shows me what she posted and it was a selfie of her with half my face showing with the caption ' mommy's sleeping shh I love you mommy" and filled with heart emojis at the end

" awh it's cute but Grace never do something like that again till you show me ok?"

" I'm sorry mommy"

" it's ok" I say as I kiss her head

" you two should really wake me up when you do. What time is it anyways"

" it's 11" I say

" oh you'll be released in a bit!"

" yay! Yay! Mommy's coming home!" Grace starts jumping

A nurse later comes in with Faith

" hello, how are you doing" she asks as she puts Faith in my arms and I cradle her

" I'm great" I say with a smile

" then you're set to go home whenever you'd like!"

" thank you!" I say as she leaves

" John should be here by now" Shannon says

" Grace pause the movie for a bit and call daddy. ask him where he's at"

" okay!" She calls and I put it on speaker

J : hey babe!

G : Daddy! Where are you?

J : oh hey Grace. tell mommy I'll be there in just a bit

K : I hear you.

J : oh am I on speaker?

K : yeah haha

I grab the phone and put it near my ear

K : your aren't anymore. what took you long?

J : Hope wouldn't stop crying. I changed her diaper and fed her I did everything.

K : what's she doing now?

J : I just got in the parking lot . she's in her car seat sleeping finally.

K : hurry up!

J : we're coming! Bye

K : bye! I hang up

" where's daddy?" Grace asks

" he'll be here within seconds"

Minutes later he comes in with Hope still sleeping in his arms

" hey" he quickly pecks my lips " hey Shannon! So you ready to go home"

" daddy you forgot me!" Grace hugs him from his back

" now where were you hiding!"

" over there!" She points & he gets down and kisses her head

" what are you waiting for? let's go!"

With Faith in my arms we all walk out the hospital to Johns car

" Shan would you like us to drop you off at your place?"

" yeah"

" just don't forget about next week!"

We get home and I give Faith a tour around the house.

" mommy she's a baby why are you showing her everything!"

" I'm just giving her a tour around the house. where's Hope?"

" I dunno"

" can you please go see where she is"

" noo!" She screams and runs up the stairs slamming her rooms door.

Just great. I think to myself I walk up the stairs and put Faith in her crib in our room

" where you going?"

" Grace she just got mad and ran. I'm gonna check on her"

" oh ok"

I walk over to her room and knock the door then peek my head through

" can I come in" I ask and she nods her head

I walk over to her bed where she's curled up in a ball and tears roll down her face.

" tell me what's up with you. we were just fine a while ago" I tell her as I pull her to my lap

" everything is just about Hope and know also Faith" she says as she cries

" you wanna hang out with mommy more?" I ask her

" yeaah" she says still crying

" ok honey you've got nothing to worry about. I've got things planned"

A week later

" Katy wake up! We're leaving without you" a familiar voice wakes me up

" Sha-Shannon? What time is it"

" it's still early for the flight but girl you gotta wake up. johns already down making some coffee

" great where's Faith?"

" you've got nothing to worry about now just get your ass down or tell your daughter where we're going before I do "

" no no I'll do it" I say as I push her away and walk to the bathroom

I get ready then walk over to Graces room and knock the door then turn the lights on.

" good morning Grace. time to wake up sunshine" I say in the most motherly way possible but she turns over and covers her face with her blanket

" aw Grace I'm sure you don't wanna miss your flight to DisneyLand" I say which makes her jump out of bed

" we're going to DisneyLand?"

" yeah! Now go brush your teeth so you could get ready"

I take out a pair of comfy jeans and shirt just when Faith starts crying.

" Katy? Katy?" Tamra comes up to me with Faith in her arms

" oh hey Tam!"

" hey Katy this little one's adorable" I out Faith in my arms and start nursing her.

" Mommy! Mommy help me put this on!"

" oh come on you could do this yourself" Tamra then slightly pushes me " come here let me help you" I say as I sit on her bed and help her

We all get done and finally get in my car and my driver gets us to the airport and an hour later we board the plane.

" mommy how long are we gonna stay here"

" um it's gonna be long"

I was by the window with Faith on my lap and grace was in the middle and John was on her right with Hope on his lap. Tamra and Shannon were just behind us.

The plane takes off and since they were all asleep I decided to sleep so I rest my head on the window and close my eyes.
