Chapter 19

Katy's P.O.V

Since we'd be in the plane for a couple of hours I knew it would be a great time for me to have some alone time and just think about what to do with my career and basically everything but when you've got a 5 year old and 2 year old around then there's definitely no silence till Grace finally fell asleep after waking up.

I've planned the next 5 years to just be with my family and to spend more time with them and to just set my career aside and that'll all happen just once I'm done touring in May

After 30 minutes of calmness Faith starts to cry for no reason I guess but probably cause we were all either zoned out or asleep, John thankfully took care of it and made her quite down.

I look down at each one of my girls not believing my eyes, these are actually my kids. I smile at them and realize that Grace is looking at me in a weird way obviously because I'm smiling.

" mommy you okay?" She asks

" mommy's perfectly fine baby " I smile at her

" mommy can you color with me? I'm bored" she innocently asks. Saying no to her would be the hardest thing right now cause I'm definitely  not in the mood of tantrums

As I start to get Graces things out of her back pack Shannon comes up to us and stops by our row

" Grace how about you let mommy rest and come color with me ?" She asks Grace

" no! I wanna color with mommy!" She says as her voice gets louder

" Shannon please stop" I murmur

" Ok! Ok!"

She ends up taking Hope and Faith with her as I got to spend time with Grace which doesn't usually happen

" mommy you look tired"

" aw I'm just sleepy, now which color should I use for this flower that I drew?" I say as I lift the paper up for her to see it

" blue!"

" ok blue it is then " I say as she hands me the colored pencil

John was still sleeping which was quite weird.

" Grace honey why don't you wake daddy up"

" no mommy! Daddy will scream"

" no he won't, if daddy screams then I'll scream back at him" I say in a childish tone as she smiles and I help her unbuckle so she could jump on John which was quite funny

" are we there yet?" He asks as he rubs his eyes

" just an hour left" I say and Shannon walks up to us with Faith crying in her arms

" Katy I think someone's hungry" she says as she places her in my arms as I start to nurse her

" mommy can you finish the drawing with me? Please!"

" oh honey I would but would you like it if daddy would color with you?"

"No"
she starts to throw a fit and just as she was  about to set a hand on Faith John luckily held her hand back

Now she wouldn't stop crying and she was basically throwing a fit which was the last thing I needed right now

Shannon and Tamra have literally just been saving my life with Graces tantrums

Shannon took Grace to sit in the back which was great since John and I could have some alone time for the next 15 minutes which might be short but it's great that we could have time for ourselves

He looks into my eyes and I do the same then he intertwines his fingers with mine

" so what's the first thing you wanna do when we get there?" He asks me

" walk around and do whatever till the day is over, just the two of us"

" we could maybe keep Faith with us for a while then let Shannon and Tamra take care of her till we get back so it could actually just be the two us"

" sounds like a plan to me" I say

" hey Katy remember about touring?"  He asks

" yeah why" I ask back

" are you still up to it?"

" yeah and I start in May remember we're all going together"

" what about Grace she's in Kindergarten"

I sigh

" let's just deal with everything later"

The plane finally lands and we all get off the Plane making our way to DisneyLand

25 minutes later

After a long quiet ride we finally make it to DisneyLand & get into the hotel

" what time is it" I ask John after I jump onto the comfortable bed

He comes in with Faith in his arms as he turns his phone on to check time

" it's 11a.m"

" oh great then I'm gonna take a shower and we could maybe go to the park at around 12:30" I change Faith's diaper then tuck her in bed before hoping in the shower "John you're staying with her right"

" yeah now don't take long"

" I won't!"

I hop into the shower & 10 minutes later I get out and dry myself up with a towel once I got done I lay next to Faith and wait till John gets done

20 minutes later

" let's get going!" John says waiting next to the door

I get up and carefully place Faith in my arms as we start making our way out to the park
