Our group decided that it was time to hang out and visit the arcade the following day. Thankfully, Henry was cool with it and agreed to watch the kids.
I gazed at the mirror making sure I looked decent. The door bell rang and it echoed through the house. "Y/n! Michael!" I heard Henry called from downstairs. I couldn't help but feel excitement.
I rushed down the stairs not wasting any second longer. Victoria, Jeremy, Mari and Mark stood there with a smirk on their faces.
"Hey guys" I smiled "Damn Y/n.. didn't know you wanted-" Mari commented but was quickly shut up by Victoria. I furrowed my eyebrows "What?" I responded.
I felt an arm wrap around my waist and pulling me in close to someone. That someone was Michael.
"I do love when my girlfriend shows off who she belongs to.." Michael smirked, kissing my forehead. That's when it hit me. I rubbed my neck lightly and laughed awkwardly. "Don't get shy on me now" Michael whispered in my ear caressing the side of my waist.
"ANYWAYS- Let's get going! See ya Hen!" Mark quickly said before it got any more awkward. "Byeeee Hen!!!" we all said together before closing the door behind us. "Kids" Henry shook his head, taking a sip of his coffee. "Yup" Sammy copied Henry taking a sip of his hot chocolate.
"I call shotgun!" Mari shouted as we got into Victoria's car. "You always do!" Mark shouted back as he got in from the other side of the vehicle. "Just get in the damn car" Victoria rolled her eyes.
Finally we were all sitting in the car, I was sitting in the middle getting squished. I knew I should've called for shotgun first. "So where exactly are we going?" Michael spoke. "Some pizza place" Victoria answered. "We aren't going to my father's right?" Michael asked, a worried expression formed over his face. I instantly placed my hand on top of his reassuring him.
"Ew no way- that son of a bitch doesn't deserve we visit his god damn murder house-" Victoria began to babble. "Victoria" I snapped. I glanced at her. She knew if she continued she would be passing the line. "Sorry" she muttered. She sighed before answering again "It's just new area me and the girls went before. It's called Bonnie's Bowling" a soft smile formed over her face.
I squeezed Michael's hand a bit, hopefully giving him a sense of reassurance. He did it back which left me with a bit of relief. Mari turned the volume up and began switching between stations.
"Can't believe Senior year is already around the corner" Victoria began. "Yeah.. what are y'all doing after highschool?" I asked "Stripper" Mari responded quickly with a proud look on her face. Everyone laughed "No way! Your mom would freak out!" Mark laughed "Who gives a fuck? As long as i'm rich it's what should matter!" she snickered.
"Nah but really what are you guys doing?" I continued but the car stayed silent. Michael grew worried. "Whatever the future has for us" Victoria sighed.
We arrived shortly at Bonnie's Bowling. "I didn't know they had an arcade" Mark furrowed his eyebrows as we entered. The sound of pins being knocked down and Cyndi Lauper playing through the speakers rang through the place.
"You boys go on and play your video games or whatever while us girls we'll go get some drinks and head out shopping!" Victoria wrapped her arm around me and Mari and dragged us to the bar. The boys looked at each other and shrugged.
"Shopping?! I thought we were here to-" Mari spoke. "Oh hush, there's a mall around the corner we can go there while the boys do their own thing!" Victoria giggled and dragged us over to a bar.
It wasn't a bar exactly for just beer, it was to order anything really.
Me and the girls arrived at the bar to order I couldn't help but have a bad feeling in my chest. Fear it felt like. But it was hard to tell the difference between being nervous and fear for me. I told myself there wasn't anything to be worried about.
"So how's Michael's sister party coming along?" Victoria looked over at me. I was relieved that she broke the silence. I'm hoping I could forget about the feeling for now. "Oh it's going fine. Unfortunately she wants to have it at circus baby's" I sighed. I didn't want to step anywhere near that motherfucker's resturaunt.
Despite Henry running both restaurants to keep us financially stable, it still gave me goosebumps knowing that William was still the one who designed the animatronics. The thought of knowing what he did with the kids..with the animatronics I knew there was a chance there was one in the animatronics. Especially Ballora.
Henry reassured me that the police checked all animatronics and made sure they were all in the clear before going back on business but there was still something that didn't sit right with me. Especially those damn dreams i've been having since William got put into prison.
"Fuck. I don't want to even step into that place." Victoria shook her head. "Me neither but I don't have much of a choice.. Michael is suppose to take his sister to go see William tomorrow before the party on Sunday" I rolled my eyes. I wasn't fond of them visiting him. He didn't even deserve it. He didn't care for his family.. but Lizzy doesn't see it that way..
There was no way I could tell her the truth. The only thing I had to say was he was a villain in our story. He was the monster under our bed all along and we didn't even realize it.
"Really? Did Michael not learn anything?!" she grunted. "It's not his fault. Elizabeth is still a child and I can't tell her what that man has done. She doesn't know anything her father has done..." my voice trailed off.
It went silent for a moment before the bartender arrived. "What can I get you ladies?" he spoke with a french accent. "i'll take a coke"
"I'll have a d/n" (drink name) I quickly said before Mari said hers. The bartender nodded and wrote down everything on the notebook he carried.
3rd POV
Michael and Jeremy were in the arcade room, roaming around to find something good enough to waste their bucket of tokens on.
The arcade room had the perfect ambient, as it was dark and only the bright blue and pink neon lights were bright enough to shine the room. Kids yelled and screamed either from frustration or just the sound of victory.
Michael spotted a machine and went towards it, while Jeremy was following closely behind him. "So how are you and vic?" Michael grabbed a town and inserted it into the machine.
"Oh well you know we are good- great actually" Jeremy stuttered. He scratched behind his neck, his cheeks turning pink.
Michael did an eyebrow flash before sighing "That's good" he smiled. "And you with your girl?" Jeremy leaned against one of the machines. "Perfect.." Michael sighed happily.
Jeremy chuckled "I could tell lover boy" Michael scrunched his nose "It's what she does to me..." Michael's voice trailed off
"I don't know how someone like me is worthy of her affection. Each kiss I give her is a promise. I'll love her today. Tomorrow. Forever." Michael smiled.
"Forever?" Jeremy tilted his head "Forever" Michael responded. "That's a long time.. and till death?" Jeremy responded.
"No never till death. I'll search for her in every lifetime. In a different dimension, place... Hell even if I was a worm." Michael laughed.
"You really love her don't you?" Jeremy smiled
"I do. I truly do."
"Do we really have to go shopping?"
Mari Had been mopping throughout the walk to a small mall. You didn't mind, it was time to find a cute new outfit either way for another date with your boyfriend, Michael.
"Come on it's not that bad" You patted her back "Maybe you can find another one of your band shirts" You smiled. You hoped it would help bring her mood up. "Maybe" you noticed a small smile curl up on her lips. "That's the spirit!" you smiled brightly.
"See there it is!" Victoria pointed over to a small outlet. "Sure won't take us long.. Let's go!" Mari smiled. "Wooo!!" Victoria shouted.
You all giggled and rushed over to the mall before the boys complained how long ya'll we're taking.
The three of you entered astonished with how cute everything looked. There was a store for each one of you. "Let's go here first!" Victoria squealed and dragged you and Mari to one of the stores.
A lady at the front greeted the three of you. "Hi! Welcome to Sally's! Let me know if you need any help finding anything!" she smiled "Thank you!" Victoria replied and you nodded and smiled in response.
You began exploring the store for a dress or a new shirt. Maybe a new pair of jeans. You went over to a floral dress that caught your attention. It was a pretty sweetheart dress with puff sleeves. Perfect for a picnic date you thought to yourself.
You heard a couple of girls laughing across the shop. You turned around seeing three girls wearing hot pink skirts and cropped shirts.
You ignored them and grabbed the dress and looked for more but as you got closer to the girls you realized they were laughing at you.
"Can you believe Michael is dating her...like look at her" one of them eyed you up and down.
You took deep breathes, attempting to ignore them. Just ignore them. They aren't worth your time.
"Gross, disgusting, like.. ewww!" they all giggled.
"Can you believe those girls think they look good with that skirt? You can see their tan lines!" Mari came behind you starring intensely at them. You knew that she was keeping her cool from killing them.
"Geez.. no wonder they're single" You eyed her the same way she did to you.
"Excuse me, who do you think you are?" one of them furrowed their eyebrows and placed their hands on their hips "Michael's hot girlfriend!" you blowed a kiss at them "Make sure to catch it. My lips have Michael's on them all the time" you winked and waved at them.
Mari smirked and linked her arm with yours. You both strolled away to go look for Victoria. "Hell yeah!" you and her high fived each other.
