*Present Day*
The girls sent the boy back to the camp to give Henry the message. The Lost Boy walked up to Henry, who was drawing something with his sword on the ground. It was a house with marks on the ground for his family. Emma, Regina, the Charmings, Dream, and Neal. He missed his family a lot. He looked up, turning when the Lost Boy poked him to get his attention.
"I don't want to fight again, okay?" Henry sighed, standing up when he was really freaked out that the boy would do something to him to get back for the cut on his face.
"I didn't come to fight. I came to deliver a message." The boy said, moving to the side with Henry. "Your family is here." The boy whispered, so no one else could hear them.
"What?" Henry asked him.
"They're on the island. Trying to find you."
"You're making this up. Because I cut your cheek. You're trying to get back at me." Henry sighed, thinking the boy was just messing with him. "I'm not making it up. Look." The boy said, taking out the mirror as Henry saw both of his mothers, his sister, and his grandmother.
"Henry, are you okay?" Regina asked as the boy walked away. "Henry, can you hear me?" Emma asked him.
"Mom?" Henry asked, shocked to see them.
"I'm here too, Henry." Mary Margaret added as Dream just smiled, seeing her brother.
"No. This is a trick." Henry sighed, looking over to the boy who was watching him. "No. It's not a trick. Henry, I promise you, this is real." Dream smiled at him.
"Kid, it's Operation Cobra Rescue. It's us." Emma said, using the name that Dream and Regina were calling the mission. "You're here?" Henry asked, still not wanting to believe that they were in Neverland with him.
"Yes. We're coming to get you." Dream smiled at her brother.
"There's someone coming. It's Pan. I gotta go." Henry said, looking away from the mirror. "Henry--" The four of them tried to speak to him. "I gotta go," Henry said, sounding worried.
"We love you," Regina added before Henry gave them a smile before he threw the mirror to the ground, causing it to break. The four watched as Henry wasn't in the mirror anymore. They all smiled, knowing that Henry knew they were coming, before walking back to camp.
*Many, Many Years Ago*
The Jones brothers got back to their ship when they ship started to fly out of Neverland. "How are you feeling?" Killian asked Liam while they were in his quarters. "Shipshape," Liam said, looking in the mirror as he adjusted his uniform. "Killian..." Liam sighed when he felt his brother continuing to look at him since Killian was just happy to get his brother back. "I should have listened to you," Liam said when he turned to his brother.
"I'm just glad you survived. What now, brother?"
"We reveal our King's cowardice," Liam said, moving to the other side of Killian, around from the table. "Well, let's hope the realm sides with us." Killian sighed, still looking at his brother.
"They will," Liam said, grabbing his jacket and putting it on. "To fight battles using unholy weapons is, as you say, bad form." He continued when Killian smiled, moving to straighten his jacket.
"Aye," Killian said, agreeing with his brother. "I will follow you to the ends of the Earth, brother," Killian said, smiling at his brother.
"All hands, brace for landing!" One of the crew announced from above deck.
The ship came back down to the seas with a rough landing, making all of the crew holds on tight. Killian and Liam were still in the Captain's Quarters, smiling as they held on as well.
"Land ho!"
Killian rushed over to the window, smiling when he saw the land near. He chuckled before turning to look at his brother. "What do you say, Liam? Do you want some company when you report to the admiralty?" He asked, but stopped when he turned to see his brother gasping as he moved to the ground. "Liam? No. No. Liam! Liam." Killian rushed to hold onto his brother, who was dying all over again. "Liam! No, no, no... Help! Help!" Killian yelled out, but he watched his brother die in his arms before crying before anyone could come down.
*Present Day*
Hook sighed when he moved his canteen, looking at the thorns, then at David, who was knocked out on the ground. He cursed to himself before moving a scarf up to his mouth and nose when he took his sword, cutting the vines in his path before he found the stream. He paused for a moment, seeing something scratched into the wall that he did not see the first time he grabbed the water.
"Slowly fall to the tray; the more it grows, the more thorns come out to play..." Hook read aloud when he furrowed his brows, running his hook over the words. "Dream, dream, dream... The light of the glow will gleam." He read off before seeing more of it fade towards the last lines. "Dream, dream, dream... Soon there will be none to redeem." Hook continued to read when he looked back at David. This must have been a warning for the water since he learned what the price of it was when his brother died. Dreamshade. That's what it had to be. Right?
Hook went back to David, moving the scarf from his mouth to wake David up. "Mate, wake up..." Hook said when David started to stir awake, coughing. "Get off me." David scoffed, trying to get up. "Whoa, whoa. Whoa, look." Hook said, moving David to sit up and leaning him against one of the rocks nearby. "In this canteen is the water that will stop the Dreamshade. That will save your life." Hook said, holding the canteen up to David.
"That's why you brought me up here?" David asked him, still coughing.
"Yes." Hook said when he saw the black veins moving up to David's cheek. "You knew I wouldn't come on my own. That I wouldn't leave my family." David sighed when Hook nodded. "That you are stubborn. Yes, I gathered that rather quickly." Hook said when the two paused while David coughed again.
"Well, give it to me."
"There's something you need to know first. Because its power comes from the island, once you drink this water, you can never leave Neverland." Hook explained, warning David of the cost when he sighed. "It's a small price to pay for what I get in return. The chance to save my grandson... and to help my family get home." David sighed when Hook stood up, handing him the canteen.
David took the canteen, drinking the water when he watched the veins go away. He felt good as new. He chuckled, looking at his hands before looking at Hook, who smiled at him. Hook moved to help him up when David looked at him. "One question. Why risk your life for me when there wasn't anything for you in return?" David asked the pirate, who was selfless for once. "I didn't do it for you, mate..." Hook smirked, winking at David. "You may not be the girl's father, but I saw how important you are to her. She cannot lose the closest thing to a father she has after losing her brother." Hook confessed when David smiled, patting Hook's shoulder.
*Meanwhile*
"You think he's okay?" Mary Margaret asked the other three.
"He's fine," Emma said, leading the way back to the camp.
"You know this how?" Regina asked, walking behind Dream. "Because he's our son. And he's a survivor. And now he has something to survive for. He knows we're coming. And we're not going to let him down." Emma said, making Mary Margaret sigh to herself.
"I'm sorry I doubted you." She said to her daughter, making Emma turn around. "I'm just... I know how easy it is to give in to the darkness. I didn't want you to--"
"She didn't. I did. That's what I'm here for. One happy family." Regina sighed, interrupting the two while she walked up to the mother-daughter duo while Dream sighed. The four stopped when they heard rustling behind them. Emma pulled out her sword. Mary Margaret took her bow out while Regina held her daughter behind her, creating a fireball in her hand.
"You can stand down. It's us." David said, moving the bushes out of his way.
The girls lowered their defenses when David hurried over, pulling his wife into a passionate kiss. "Where's the sextant?" Regina asked Hook, looking disgusted at the display of PDA. "I'm afraid Pan got to it first." Hook sighed as Emma looked away from her parents, while Dream found it sweet.
"I'm not complaining, but what was that--" Mary Margaret tried to say, but David pulled her back into another passionate kiss.
"Okay, I'm complaining." Emma sighed, making Dream chuckle at her. "It's romantic." Dream smiled, making Regina scoff aloud.
"What I wouldn't give for another sleeping curse." Regina sighed when David and Mary Margaret finally pulled apart.
"Hook. He saved my life." David spoke up, making the girls raise a brow.
"You sure you want to tell them that, mate?" Hook asked him when Dream furrowed her brows at him.
"On our trek, we were ambushed by Lost Boys, pinned down, outnumbered. But Hook, he risked his life to stop me from getting hit by a poisoned arrow." David said, walking away from his wife to walk over to Hook. "If it wasn't for Hook, I wouldn't be alive. Your flask, please?" David asked as Hook took his flask out, handing it to David. "I thought he deserved a little credit." David smiled at Hook.
"Thank you." Hook smiled as David took a drink from the flask before passing it to Mary Margaret.
"To Hook." She smiled before taking a drink from the flask. Then she offered it to Regina. "I don't do rum. And she's underage." Regina said, making Hook look up at Dream, who was just smiling. Regina started to walk back to the fire as Emma grabbed the flask. "To Hook." She smiled, taking a drink from the flask. David and Mary Margaret followed behind Regina as Emma walked to the side, watching Dream walk over to Hook.
"Sounds like someone's becoming a hero, whether you like it or not." She smirked, giggling, as he raised his brow. "A hero?" He asked when she nodded, smiling at him. "You risked your life for David's... That's more than half of the quote-on-quote heroes can say." Dream smiled when he smirked, watching her turn around and walk over to her mother, leaving him and Emma.
