AURORA
Tuesday, 11th January
~Nervous by the neighbourhood

"Get up." I woke up immediately as a pillow was thrown on my head. "Why?" it came from me in my morning voice, which was a little deep. "Because breakfast is about to start and Mom's hungry." Quinn twisted her hand on her stomach.

"Quinn." I admonished her, annoyed, and laid my head on the other side to continue sleeping. I really don't want to get up now. I can get something later.

"I knew you wouldn't get up." Then why is she asking me? I don't answer and just put the blanket over my arm, so I'm completely underneath.

"Then the hard way has to be pointed out." The next moment, I felt water running all over my face. Gasping, I took a quick breath as I sat up.

"Quinn!" I yelled at her and got up from my bed because it was wet. My hair was dripping wet over my shoulder. The water was also running down the white tank top which I always use to sleep on.

I immediately put my hands on my breasts, so she doesn't see everything. "Do you know how much I hate you right now?" Quinn walked up behind me and pushed me toward the bathroom.

"Soon you'll adore me with the large selection of food, now get ready before someone else sees your tits." I blushed. How embarrassing.

I stepped into the bathroom, Quinn put some clothes on the washing machine and closed the door. Am I five now that she puts clothes out for me?

I don't even want to know what it is. It's supposed to be 95°F degrees today. Well, by Boston standards, it's warm. I took off the wet shirt and took a quick shower to get warm and fresh.

---

"I'm not going to wear that." I walked out of the bathroom to Quinn, who was already waiting for me. "It looks great, I should style you more often."

"That's too short! You can see almost everything." I turned to the mirror and took a quick look at myself again. The dress is definitely Quinn's because I never saw it in my closet or suitcase.

The dress is halfway short up my thighs, it's tight, and when I say tight, I mean fucking tight. You can see every curve, including the slight belly fat that I have.

The straps are attached to the side so the shoulders are nicely exposed. "You look great. Maybe you'll get a hot surfer boy too." She winked at me, came in front of me, and tied the ribbons hanging in the front into a bow.

"God, I would do anything to get you boobs." She really has no other topic. Her hands went to the sides of the straps on the ruffles, to make them more beautiful.

"You don't have time to change, breakfast is just starting in two minutes." I rolled my eyes. I didn't change, but took a thin college jacket from my father and put my shoes on.

I took all the important things like money and phone, and Quinn is already forcing me out.

In the hallway on the way down, I felt someone staring. I took one end and the other of the jacket, to cover my breasts.

"Don't be ashamed of how you look." The person who is to blame for going out like this admonished me.

"You're can talk. Seriously, this is the last time you choose something for me." I rolled my eyes as the elevator came, and we walked in.

"If there aren't any pancakes with maple syrup and butter. I'll kill you." She put her hand around my shoulder and flipped her black sunglasses up.

"Trust me, if there aren't any, I'll go complain personally." the elevator stopped.

Immediately Quinn and I ran to the really small queue because we are this early. I grabbed a plate and walked through the rows to stand right in front of the well-made pancakes.

"Good morning." I was greeted by the woman standing there with a cooking apron and a pair of tongs. "Good morning. The pancakes, please." she nods. I handed her my plate, which she accepted with a smile.

"How many?" "Four, please." she put them on. Put a pre-cut piece of butter in the middle of the tower and maple syrup. Oh my god, My mouth is watering.

She hands me the plate and I thanked her. I grabbed myself a drink and a little snack to eat as Quinn and I sat down at the table right by the Big Window.

Without waiting long, I took the first bit and God blessed this fucking food. It melts like butter, is fluffy, and just wow.

"So Mr. Bennett said that we are going to take a tour of the city today. Then we'll have free time for ourselves." She ate a piece of her bagel. "What's so nice to see here except for the beaches?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "The main thing is we get some free time," Quinn argued. We continued talking until Zeth came to our table. "You need some company?" we nodded to him as he took the seat next to me.

I looked at his plate and immediately saw pancakes. "Are there some more?" he looks at me like I look in amazement, following my finger he sees that I'm pointing to his food.

"Yes, 10 more pieces, should I get some for you?" "No, I'll get them myself."

"It's okay, I want to get something to drink anyway." With a smile, I put my plate in his hand. "Do you want something, too, Quinn?" He asked. Quinn only asked for a small snack.

Then Zeth walks away. "This boy is too nice to describe him as real." "I think it suits him, most, when he's smiles, and you can see his dimples."

"You can't say that about him. Good morning." Dylan walked over to the table with his hair tousled and still wearing his pajamas. "Quinn, it's 7a.m." he sat down and briefly ran his hands over his face.

"What did you guys do yesterday?" "Neyla found out that Zack cheated on her. I kept talking to her all night because she was so done and because Zack asked me to." my eyes widen.

Zack cheated on Neyla? What's wrong with these guys? Everyone cheats on everyone or what? Have they never heard of honor or conscience?

"Do you know with who?" Dylan shook his head. "Zack doesn't tell me the name, and neither does Neyla, apparently a girl not from around here."

That Zack really cheated on Neyla shocks me. They had been together for three years, they seemed happy. What happened to Zack, who is actually one of the nicest and kindest people?

He's just bringing himself to the level of many who can easily be dismissed as contempt. Kirian or Ben. Contempt for these people. The level of them.

"What are you doing today?" "Nothing, I'll check on both of them again, then I'll go to a museum with my class." he shrugged his shoulders and drank the rest of the milk from the bowl.

"Well, see you then." I nodded to Dylan as he left. I looked at Quinn, who was staring at her plate. She didn't say a word. Not even a comment on how bad men are.

"Everything okay?" She nodded to me. "I'm just sick from the weather switch. Nothing more. But apart from me, let's talk about something else." she distracts from the topic. So I couldn't pick on her with it, Zeth came with the accompaniment of Mason and Ares.

"Here you go." I smiled at Zeth with a thank-you. Then he sat down in his seat. "My brother said you want that." Mason placed the donat in front of Quinn, which was on a plate.

"Thank you." She nodded and only smiled slightly. "Do you know about the exact information about this tour?"

"We'll meet at the entrance at 7:45 a.m," Mason told me. I nodded to him. That means that even if I stuff the pancakes into my mouth, I won't be able to change the dress.

"You look really pretty today." Zeth put the jacket that slipped off my shoulder back up to cover it again. My heart was beating against my chest.

Hearing these words from Zeth has a whole different meaning. I mean sure he's nice, and you expected a compliment from him but those smiles and those little things are all that makes it so beautiful.

"Thank you, actually, I didn't want to wear that, it's because of Quinn." "Nevertheless, the dress suits you very well." I smiled.

"How long should we wait?" I was standing at the fountain with Zeth and were waiting together for Mason, Ares, and Quinn, who walk into one store together.

"They should be right back, if not we'll walk ahead." I nodded. The tour through the city helped me a bit to get my bearings, but it didn't get that big, either.

If it weren't with Zeth and the others, I'd get lost and probably be gone by tomorrow. "Finally." I turned from the fountain we were standing we waited for the three.

Mason and Quinn had bags in their hand, Ares got nothing. "Shall we go?" I asked them when everyone finally agreed. We headed towards the hotel because it was getting dark.

When we walk past a store that I saw on the internet. It's that particular color of lipstick that I've wanted.

"I'll go into the store," I told the others. "Should one go with you?" asked Mason. It would be best for me as I'm not very knowledgeable, but I don't want to stop them and I still have my phone.

"It's alright, go ahead, won't belong." Zeth looked at me expectantly, as if he was just waiting for me to ask him to come with me, but then Ares came.

"I need something too, come." I didn't argue, but my eyes said more than I had to say.

Ares and I walked into the store. The others are on their way to the hotel. "Why are you lying?" I looked at the lipsticks in the aisles and searched for the color.

"Why should I lie?" "There are no men's products here, this is a make-up store." I took the brown one and looked at Ares.

"Why didn't you say anything." I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't like to waste your time from the other, but when you're here, I need a test person for this." he raised an eyebrow and saw the lipstick in my hand.

"No way, use it on yourself or the back of your hand." "Girls like to test it out in person, so they can see it visually, that's why you wanted to come with me."

"No."

"And what if I say I prepare you if it ever happens to you on one of your dates?"

"No."

"You're really boring, no wonder you haven't had a girlfriend for years." I rolled my eyes.

"Just like you had a boyfriend." "Where do you want to know when I had a boyfriend?" snapped at him lightly.

"Looking at you." I smiled slightly. "I can give this stupid compliment back. You're in a bad mood, no sex? When was the last time? A day ago?"

"Five." "Wow, a new record." I clapped and took a new color. It was a lip gloss that had no real color, but glitter.

"Go ahead." I turned to Ares. "What?" "Hurry up before anyone looks." He really allows me to make this on these lips. I smile and force him to go down slightly, so I can get a better view.

I tap with my fingertip over the lip gloss end and tapped over his lips. They're so soft and gentle, it's weird for a guy.

His lip color matches the sparkle so well. What would I do to have those lips! Kiss him. Would this voice inside me never stop? No, of course, I'm not going to kiss Ares.

"So done." He looked at himself in the small mirror. "And that is what Quinn always does with you and you with her?" "No, girls don't do that. It should suit you and not your girlfriend. But it looks great." I smile.

Angry, he wiped the lip gloss off with his sleeve. What an idiot. He falls for things so easily. Slightly sad.

"But I'll take it, so come on." Rolling his eyes, we walk to the cash register, to go back on our way to the hotel. "15 dollars for something like that is a rip-off." "It's called make-up to make you look better."

"You don't need that anyway." "What?" "I said get me some regular lip gloss and glitter, and I'd make you a better lip gloss." Did I just misunderstand it? I mean, he clearly said I didn't need any make-up.

I'm not crazy or hard of hearing. No, that's not me, is it? We arrived at the hotel, I quickly walk back to my room where Quinn was already in bed, so I got ready and lay down in the fresh-covered one.

So rather, I sat on the phone because I did not want to fall asleep. When I got a message.

Idiot:
Come out.

What does he want now at 11:01 p.m.?

Me:
Why?

Idiot:
just come
I'm outside the entrance

Me:
If you're not dying, and you get me to help you, pray Ares.

I turn off my phone and stand up again. I didn't change. I grabbed a jacket and went to the bathroom to do my hair. When I looked up the lip gloss.

Should I put it on? But why? I mean, nobody won't see me anyway and what Ares wants from me at midnight, is a question.

You don't need that anyway. Fuck, why do his words have to be in my head? I put down the lip gloss and picked up my phone after putting on my shoes.

Then I sneak out.
