Everyone was laughing hard at the shocked faces of Anirudh and Bondita.
"Enough!" Somnath said, holding his stomach which ached by all the laughter.
"Now will you tell the real 'Good News'?" He laughed.
"Yeah, Please!" Batuk asked, innocently after all the chaos he had created.
"Y... Yeah," Bondita stammered.
"K.. Kaka Sasurji has asked me to show you these pictures, Batuk." She said, handing him the envelope.
"What are these?"
"Photographs of girls. You need to choose one for your marriage!" Kaka told proudly.
Anirudh instantly looked at Bondita and she just nodded.
Bondita had already slid Mallika's picture inside the envelope.
"Umm... Is it necessary?" Batuk asked, blushing now.
"Yes! Stop shying like a girl now!" Kaka hissed making Batuk pick out the pictures.
"Keep them down on the table, Batuk!" Bondita asked him, taking Rudhi in her arms and kneeling down beside the table.
"Rudhi will also choose a Chachi for herself."
"Hmm" Batuk replied, keeping the photographs on the table.
Rudhi excitedly looked with wide eyes at the pictures around the table. There were so many pretty girls.
Batuk didn't want to even look at any of these pictures. It was so weird! He couldn't look upon girls and just rate them according to their looks.
"Kaka, isn't it weird to judge someone just by their looks?" Anirudh asked, finding all this so wrong.
"Oh shut up! Let me do things my way!" Kaka shrugged at him.
"Still, I'd prefer...." Anirudh was speaking when they suddenly heard Rudhi yell happily.
"Makka.... Chaachiii!!" Rudhi had shouted happily, trying to reach a photograph.
Bondita instantly picked the photograph up. It was Mallika's polaroid. She smiled at her baby as her plan was getting successful.
"Puchki has chosen her Chachi now!" Bondita smiled at Trilochan Babu.
"I don't think anyone would question this!" She giggled.
"Ofcourse! How we question aur Duti's choice?" Trilochan Babu smiled, standing up happily.
"Show us too!"
Bondita handed him the picture and he smiled for a moment, before realising something.
"Mallika?" Trilochan Babu asked, looking shocked.
"This can't be, Bahu." He disagreed.
"But, Kaka Sasurji.." Bondita spoke
"No Bahu! This really can't happen! She isn't Bengali by birth!" Kaka refused to even listen and left the hall.
"Kaka...." Batuk murmured, worriedly as he saw Bondita follow Trilochan Babu to his room.
"Don't worry, let her handle this!" Anirudh held his brother's shoulder, his voice calm as he knew Bondita would definitely do what she had decided already.
Batuk just nodded as everyone else too sat their, worried.

"Kaka Sasurji!" Bondita called, her voice soft.
"No Bahu! I told you, right?" Kaka replied, sitting on his arm chair, not wanting to listen to her.
"Please, Kaka Sasurji! Just listen to me for once..." Bondita sat near him, on the floor.
"If you don't agree after this, I won't argue further!" She said and Trilochan Babu just nodded.
"Kaka Sasurji! Mallika is such a nice girl! And batuk likes her too!" Bondita said.
"I like her too, Bahu! But the only problem is, she's not a Bengali!"
"Will it affect how she forms relationships with every family member? Will it ever affect how she would love this family and Batuk? How does that matter, Kaka Sasurji?" She argued.
"Bahu, She won't be able to understand our culture, our religious beliefs! And what if she doesn't respect them?' Trilochan Babu asked.
"Kaka Sasurji!" Bondita smiled.
"Mallika is not like that! She would never disrespect any of your beliefs or customs. And even if you still doubt, I will take care that I guide her well!" She assured.
"But Bahu.... This is still not right..." Trilochan Babu replied.
"I don't see anything wrong in this! Please, Kaka Sasurji!" She pleaded.
"And you had even promised to grant me a wish, right? So this is what I want! Mallika as my Devraani, please!!!" She pouted.
"Oh Bahu!" He sighed, accepting his defeat.
"Fine! But I won't compromise with anything about this marriage, other than this!"
"Thankyou, Kaka Sasurjiii!!" Bondita squealed in happiness, hugging her Kaka Sasurji happily.
"You're the best!" She said clutching his hand lovingly.
"You're so sweet, my Bahu!" He smiled, touching her head lovingly.
"I'll just tell this to everyone!" She giggled.
"Thankyouu so muchh!" She said, running out of the room of happily.

"What would have happened?" Batuk was pacing inside the study worriedly.
Anirudh sat their, looking at his brother, not knowing what to say. He was so confident about his Bondita, that he found Batuk's nervousness irrelevant. But he needed to understand his brother too.
"Dada! What if Kaka doesn't agree? Will I have to marry some random unknown girl?" He almost cried.
"No Batuk." Anirudh frowned.
"So will I have to stay single for all my life? Just like Kaka!!" Batuk widened his eyes in fear.
"No Batuk!" Anirudh said, not even listening to his brother properly now.
"What if Boudi doesn't get to convince Kaka?!"
"No, Batuk!" Anirudh said, his eyes closed as he rested his head on the back rest of the sofa.
"But I think Boudi would be able to convince Kaka! She's so smart!" Batuk said, looking down thoughtfully.
"No Batuk!" Anirudh replied mindlessly, earning an irritated groan from his brother.
"Dada!" Batuk groaned.
"Oh, sorry!" Anirudh sat up straight.
"I mean.... Ofcourse! Bondita will convince Kaka!"
That was when Bondita ran into the study, excitedly.
"Batuk! Batuk! Batuk!!" She shouted happily, throwing her arms around Batuk.
Batuk instantly hugged her back and Anirudh just chuckled at them.
"Successful?" He asked his wife with a small smirk as she hugged his brother.
"What do you think, Barrister Babu?" Bondita broke the hug and looked at him with raised eyes.
"Is there anything, your Bondita can't do?!" She flaunted.
"Really, Boudi?!" Batuk widened his eyes at her happily.
"Yes, Really Devarji!" She giggled, nudging onto his shoulder as Anirudh smiled at his wife with proud.
"Oh Boudi! I love youuu!!" The lad almost screamed in excitement, picking up Bondita in his arms and twirling around happily.
"Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyouu soo much, My Sweet Boudii! You're the best!" He laughed as she giggled, holding onto his shoulders and looking down at his happy face.
He just was being a young boy who was happy beyond everything else.
Anirudh laughed happily, feeling happy for his little brother. But at the same time the protective Pati Babu within him was worried at this twirling around the room.
"Cool down, Mr. BRC! You'll drop my wife!" He chuckled.
"That's impossible, Dada!" Batuk laughed making Bondita stand on her feet finally.
"She's so precious that I can neber hurt my Boudi!" He said, pulling Bondita cheeks lovingly.
"Whatever!" Anirudh rolled his eyes at him, walking close to his wife and wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
"You should telephone Mallika and tell her the good news, I suppose."
"Telephone? No! You're so unromantic Dada!" Batuk rolled his eyes as Bondita giggled.
"I'll go to her home with a bouquet of flowers!" He said dreamily.
"Rush then!" Anirudh rolled his eyes at him, glaring at his giggling wife for once.
"Oh yes! Bye! And thankyou soo much, Boudi!" Batuk said, smiling at his Boudi and ran away to meet Mallika.
Bondita just looked at him happily, unaware of her husband's gaze on her beautiful smile.
She turned to look at him, his arm still wrapped loosely around her.
"What?" She asked.
"I'm proud!" He smiled.
"And too much in love with you!"
"Isshh!! You're too much!" She looked away, smiling bashfully.
"Want to know what else I am, right now?" Anirudh turned her to look at him, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Bondita instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, looking deep into his eyes.
"What?" She whispered.
"I'm... So seduced.... my dear wife!" He smirked, inching closer to her face.
His nose touched hers and she shivered under the cold touch of his nose, lowering her gaze.
"Oh really? Si what shall we do for it.... my dear husband?" She grinned at him.
"Mhmm! Smart!" Anirudh raised his eyebrows at her, gazing at her curved lips.
"Let's show you then!" He said, gently touching his lips to hers.
Sparks jolted inside her body at the slightest touch of his lips onto hers as she shivered, wanting to kiss him badly.
She didn't want to tease him further, but the stubborn wife in her wasn't letting her comply to the heart of his lover.
Her hands slid down onto his chest, gripping onto the thin material of his shirt tightly. She had closed her in anticipation, waiting for him to capture her lips in his soulful kiss.
Anirudh, on the other hand, had whole different plans for the day. He had touched her lips with his in the slightest way, but never claimed them. His hands had gripped her waist, pressing the soft skin, but not moving further.
Bondita knew her husband so well, she didn't want to tease him that day and inched closer, pressing her lips onto his.
Anirudh smiled against her lips, sensing her approvals and kissed her back passionately. His hands still didn't move onto her body, but she knew how to take control at the moment.
Sliding her own hands onto his arms, she trailed down to his fingers which had gripped her waist tightly. Pressing her hands onto his, she deepened the kiss, making him tremble under her seduction.
Bondita smirked as she could sense all his self control and gentleness falling away into the oblivion. Anirudh pulled her closer to him, her body pressed against his tightly.
He could feel each of her curve against his body, asking for his tender love and attention. He didn't push his own heart further, kissing her lips soulfully now. The kiss wasn't anymore gentle, it had crossed a certain sensuality and had become.... wild in it's own.
"Pati Babu!..." She moaned against his mouth.
"Anirudh!" He ordered, breaking the kiss for a moment as she breathed deeply.
"Just Anirudh!" He breathed the words against her lips, before lowering his lips to kiss her bare neck and collarbone.
"Ani... Anirudh Babu!" Bondita almost screamed as he grazed her soft skin.
"Don't you dare to scream, Bondita!" He looked up at her, his eyes darkening as he warned her.
"I won't like anyone running into the study, listening to your screams."
"Why don't you lock the door then?" She raised her eyebrows, smirking at her husband.
"It's fun this way! Adventurous, you know?" He replied, pulling her closer as she gripped onto his shirt.
"Oh?! The fear of getting caught is adventurous, isn't it?!" She chuckled.
"Fear? Anirudh Roy Chowdhary has none!" He smirked, moving his fingers on the softness of her waist.
"Pati Babu!" Bondita gasped, trying to get him out of his fearless adventures.
Anirudh looked at her, his eyes darkening once again as he pushed her against the bookshelf, hungrily kissing the visible parts of her chest.
"Anirudh! Just Anirudh for today, Madame!" He warned, still kissing her hungrily.
"Anirudh!" Bondita whispered, arching her back as a few books fell down from the shelf.
"Your Books!" She gasped, her eyes opening quickly.
"Let them be!.... I need to read this one today!" He looked at her, his eyes so full of love and desire, just for her.
"Don't look at me like that!" Bondita hushed, smiling bashfully.
"Why? You get..." He was stopped midway as she gently punched him on the chest.
"Don't!!" She warned and rolled her eyes at him.
"You and your flirtatious talks!"
"As you wish..... Madame!" He teased.
"Shh! Now just kiss me!" She smiled with a deep blush, cupping his cheeks as she pressed her lips against his again.
He kissed her happily, suckling onto her soft skin. His hands had softly touched her cheeks, trailing down to her neck and finally touching her softness as he gripped onto it gently.
She moaned into the kiss, feeling his sensual touch onto her softness as he kneaded her skin, kissing her hungrily.
