"So that's the matter!" Bondita said thoughtfully as Batuk and Anirudh told her about Batuk's marriage.
"Do you have a plan?" Anirudh asked, looking at her.
"Oh! I think I have one!" Bondita said, standing up and walking to a tall bush, playing with it's leaves.
"I'll need your help in this, both of you!" She turned to them.
"Ofcourse, you have my complete support, Boudi!" Batuk instantly stood up and hugged her tightly.
"You already have the complete me!" Anirudh smiled proudly.
"Everything I have is yours!"
"You and your cheesy dialogues, Dada!" Batuk rolled his eyes at him.
"Your Boudi only fell for these!" Anirudh smirked at Bondita as his brother just sighed.
"Why don't you guys go to your room?!" Batuk teased, rolling his eyes, only to get a sugar cube thrown at him from the table.
"Aren't you speaking a lot today?" Anirudh stood up, folding his Kurta sleeves, ready to chase his brother.
"Let's see how much you'll speak after getting a slap.
"In your dreams, Dada!" Batuk removed his slippers, quickly running ahead, as Anirudh followed behind.
"Careful, both of you!" Bondita shouted from behind, shaking her head at the two brothers.
"Pati Babu I'll get Rudhi dressed!" She shouted, heading back inside the Haveli.
......
"Batuk! Come here!" Bondita from inside her room, as she saw Batuk passing by the room door.
"Yes Boudi?" Batuk walked in, smiling.
Anirudh was buttoning up his shirt and Rudhi was sitting on the floor, beside the dressing Table, talking to her Baba in some undeciphered language.
Bondita was sitting on the bed, keeping her files inside the bag. Batuk sat beside her on the bed, picking up one of Rudhi's toys.
"So do you want to marry Mallika?" Bondita teased him.
"Ofcourse!" Anirudh replied with a smirk, looking at Batuk's reflection in the mirror.
"Hmm, good!" Bondita giggled, making Batuk blush.
"So you need to do a few things!" She added.
"What Boudi? How eill you convince Kaka and Baba?" Batuk asked, being worried.
Bondita shook her head and walking to him, rested her elbow on his shoulder.
"Don't you worry, my dear Devar!" She smacked him lightly on the head.
"Your niece will help us!"
"Kaaju?!" Batuk looked at baby Rudhi in confusion, as the baby looked up at her Chachu with a giggle.
"How will she help us?!" He asked, turning to Bondita.
"See Bondita!" Anirudh said, picking Rudhi up in his arms.
"Nothing should happen to my princess!" He announced, kissing Rudhi's chubby cheek.
"Nothing would happen to her!" Bondita rolled her eyes at her husband and turned to Batuk.
"Batuk, you just taje Rudhi to Mallika's home! And let them befriend each other."
"I really don't know what's cooking in your mind, Boudi!" Batuk sighed, standing up.
"Fine!" Bondita crossed her arms across her chest, rolling her eyes again.
"Then go and get married to some daughter of Baba's friends!"
She said, and started to walk away. But Batuk instantly held her wrist and stoped his Boudi.
"F.. Fine! Fine! I'll do as you say, Madam!" Batuk laughed, making Anirudh giggle.
"That's my key to a happy life, my brother!" Anirudh patted Batuk's back, moving out of the room.
"BONDITA IS ALWAYS RIGHT!" He laughed, walking out of the room with his daughter in his arms.
"Ta...ta!! Cha....chu!" Rudhi waved at a confused Batuk and he just smiled at her happily.
"Taata, my Kaaju!" He waved back, blowing a flying kiss at her, as she wrapped her little arms around her Baba's neck.
"I'll see him later!" Bondita sighed at her husbands remark.
"Batuk! Do you have Mallika's photograph?" She turned to Batuk instead.
"Umm.. Yeah! I do!" Batuk replied, smiling sheepishly.
"Great! Just give it to me, when I ask for it!" Bondita smiled at him excitedly, before heading out of the room with.
"Ahh! Boudi you're the best, Batuk ran behind her and hugged her tightly.
"I know!" Bondita laughed, hugging him back.
"Now come, or else Pati Babu will scold me!" She giggled, walking down the stairs.

"So, what's the master plan?" Anirudh asked Bondita with a smile, as he drove them towards the court.
"That I'll tell you!" Bondita said, turning to him.
"But first you tell me, what was that statement?" She raised her eyebrows in fake anger.
"What statement?" Anirudh frowned innocently at her.
"That, 'BONDITA IS ALWAYS RIGHT!' Hmm?" Bondita quoted him, rolling her eyes at him, angrily.
"Oh that!" Anirudh blinked, sighing a bit.
"That's the truth, madam!" He chuckled, focussing on the road.
"Oh really?!" Bondita raised her eyebrows dramatically.
"Then I guess, my dear husband, you won't argue with me ever again! Right?!"
"Umm... No.. I mean, isn't that my marriage right?!" Anirudh replied looking at her, as he pressed a smile on his lips.
"Marriage right?!" Bondita rolled her eyes.
"Drama!" She giggled, shaking her head.
"Learnt from you!" Anirudh teased her, looking again at the road.
"Drive quietly!" Bondita scolded him, laughing.
"As you say!" He shrugged.
"Afterall, Bondita is always right!" He teased, earning a gentle punch on his arm by a laughing Bondita.
......
"WHAT?!" Batuk shouted on the telephone, making everyone run to the hall.
"DADA ARE YOU.... ARE YOU BOTH FINE?!" He almost cried.
"Yes, Please!!! Come back as soon as possible!" He said, fear evident in his voice.
As he kept the receiver, Anirudh walked to him and Batuk hugged him tightly.
"Ba... Batuk?!" Anirudh hugged his little brother, who looked really afraid.
"Batuk?! What happened?!" Binoy Babu asked him, as Shubra Maa handed him a glass of water.
"Batuk! Are Som dada and Vibhu fine?!" Bondita asked, fearfully.
"Yes!" Batuk finally spoke after gulping down the whole glass of water.
"They're absolutely fine! But they had a small accident while returning back."
"What?!" Anirudh asked, almost shouting.
"Yes Dada! The car is damaged, but they're fine." Batuk told.
"Its just that Vibha Boudi...." He added sadly.
"Wh... What happened to Vibha?!" Anirudh asked, now panicking.
"She got a few wounds, just mild one's. But Somnath Dada will take care if her. He told not to worry!" Batuk breathed out the words sadly.
"Som will always tell us not to worry!" Anirudh rolled his eyes, pressing his palm on the forehead.
"I think, we should go to them!"
"No Dada, it's no use. They're anyways returning by tomorrow. Som Dada has already appointed a driver for the journey." Batuk told, calming down now.
"Oh god! My kids!" Shubra Maa sighed in relief, muttering some prayers to the goddess.
"Let us all thank Dugga Maa!" Trilochan Babu said worriedly, walking to the temple.
Bondita walked to Anirudh and gently touched his shoulder, calming him down.
"They're fine, Pati Babu!" She smiled, assuring him.
"Bondita!" Anirudh murmured, resting his head on her shoulder as she rubbed his back gently.
"Come! Let's thank Dugga Maa!" She smiled, leading him to the huge idol.

"Pati Babu! What happened?" Bondita asked, walking inside their room after dinner.
Anirudh was sitting on the bed lost in deep thoughts, as Rudhi played on his lap quietly.
"Are you still worried about Som Dada and Vibha?!" She asked, sitting beside him on the bed.
"Hmm?!" Anirudh looked at her, registering her words after he cane out of his river of thoughts.
"No.... Its... Not about them" he told, sighing and looking at Rudhi with sad eyes.
"So what is it, Pati Babu?!" She asked.
"Please tell me!"
Anirudh looked at her again and reached out to touch her hand gently. He entwined their fingers and looked at their joined hands sadly.
Bondita sighed and kept her free hand onto his, making him look at her.
"What is it?!" She whispered with a worried frown.
"Bonditaaa... It's about something I... I just remembered!" He told, holding onto her hand even tighter.
"Hmm? I'm listening!" She replied.
"Bondita do you remember when that day I shouted at you..... In the study...?" He asked sadly, still looking at their joined hands
"Mhmm! Yes I do!" She nodded, feeling sad too.
"That day, you were crying so much!" He continued.
"And you just wanted to go to your Baba!" His voice almost choked, as he spoke.
"I do remember Pati Babu, but it's something that shouldn't bother us anymore!" She told him with a smile, pressing his hand.
"No Bondita! That is something to think about!" He said, tears entering his eyes.
"It.... It really affected me in so many ways!"
"How?!" She asked.
"Firstly, I felt so helpless and failed! I felt as if I failed as a husband!" He replied, almost crying, his gaze not moving from their hands.
"It felt like, I wasn't able to give you the sense of protectiveness that I should have been! You still needed your Baba when you were sad!"
"Pati Babu!" Bondita sighed.
"You're overthinking now! You're my home! You're my protector!"
Bondita touched his cheek and he finally lifted his face to look at her.
"Yes! I needed my Baba at that moment. But it's not because you aren't able to provide me with enough love and protection, it was because at that moment, you were the one who was breaking my heart!" She explained him lovingly, wiping his tears.
Rudhi looked up at her Maa Baba, finally getting bored of her toy. As she saw her Baba sad, she instantly hugged him with her little arms.
Her small face was buried on his stomach and she giggled.
Anirudh and Bondita bent down to look at her and smiled lovingly at their Baby.
"My sweet Mishti!" Anirudh pulled her up to his face and kissed her cheeks as she continued to giggle.
Bondita smiled at them as Anirudh pressed his cheek against his daughter's.
"Pati Babu!" She called.
"What was the other thing you were feeling?!" She asked.
"Oh yeah!" Anirudh smiled at her.
"Thankyou so much Bondita. You always show me the right path!" He held her hand again, resting Rudhi against his chest.
"The other thing I was talking about is the sense of responsibility I felt!" He said, smiling at her.
"I want to learn this from your Baba! He loved and protected you in such a way, that even today his daughter just wants him and no one else!"
Bondita smiled, looking down. Her Baba was indeed the best, afterall. He had always been by her side, no matter what. She loved him so much!
"I just want to be the same for my Mishti!" He smiled at Rudhi and she snuggled more into his chest, clutching his Kurta.
"You're the best Father, Pati Babu! I see my Baba in you!" Bondita smiled, placing a kiss on his knuckles lightly.
"Oh yeah! And one more thing, I was worried about!" Anirudh said, giggling a bit.
"And what's that?!" She asked, resting her head on his shoulder.
"That if by chance, you would really called your Baba. He would have beaten me so hard, for making his Roshu cry!" Anirudh laughed, making her giggle as well.
"Oh yeahh!! He would surely never beat you, but he would have taken me to Calcutta with him, for sure!" She laughed.
"That's even worse than getting beaten!" Anirudh chuckled before placing a kiss on her head and resting his own head on hers.
He gently kept Patting Rudhi's back and the baby slept peacefully, hugging her Baba.
