Welcome fellow Souya Kawata fans
For context I'm pretending that Kazutora never killed anyone and is actually the head of a division with y/n as his vice captain.
Since we're already playing make believe and pretending no one is dead, I've decided to replace division 5 with Kazutora and y/n because Mucho smells funny and I don't have any particular feelings towards Sanzu

"Guys hurry up the games about to start" Draken calls out, trying to round up everyone
There was a debate over which was the best division...and somehow this has led to a game of lazer tag with all of the captain's and vice's in order to decide once and for all which is the best division. Of course, as usual, the meaning of what we were doing got lost along the way and now we're doing teams of three
What could go wrong?
We'll get to that shortly
As of right now, Pah has his hand stuck in the pool table. We are in the waiting room of the place and so far we've had the staff members on edge since the moment we stepped through the door. Takemitchi joined us but only to watch, I think he's scared we'll accidentally kill him.
Peh-yan had his arms wrapped around his friend and was trying to pull him out. He's going to break Pah's fucking arm if they continue
"Hey hey" I yell, jogging over
"Pah-chin is stuck" Peh-yan announced, worry coating his voice
"Really? I never noticed" I replied with an eye roll
"Pah let go of whatever you're holding"
"No, Smiley cheated and I'm not letting the ball drop in. He'll win"
"He's winning regardless, look at him" I cry out, pointing at the orange haired boy rolling about on the floor laughing
"Drop it"
"No"
"Drop it"
"NO"
PAH-CHIN YOU DROP THAT BALL RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME GOD I WILL DROP YOURS" A loud clunk sounds out and I hear the ball roll down the table
"Now look what you did" Peh-yan mutters, shaking his head at me
I roll my eyes and walk back to where Draken was standing initially. Looking around for the tall boy I spot him dragging an angry Mikey away from a battered vending machine, cussing and cursing as he went
"IT STOLE MY MONEY KEN, IT STOLE MY MONEY" he screamed, kicking his legs out and struggling against the tired, annoyed boy carrying him
"Guys c'mon it's starting" Mitsuya calls out
"Yeah guys, they're calling for our group" Hakkai echoes after him
I traipse over to them, dragging Smiley with me as I walked.
"C'mon kiddo, shooty shooty time"
"YEAH I'M GONNA BLOW EVERYONE'S BRAINS OUT"
"You'll have teammates, try not to kill them"
"No promises" he laughs maniacally
"I sure fucking hope I'm not on your team" I mumble under my breath, giving Smiley a shove towards the door
"I love my brother...but same" I feel someone mutter in my ear as he places his hands on my hips briefly before being pulled into a headlock by the annoying orange.
"For god's sake Smiley" I yell out, laughing
"Gotcher nose" He calls in a sing song voice, dragging Angry to the ground
"That's not my nose, that's my whole head you egg"
I let out another laugh, warmth filling my heart as I look around to see who was left. Draken and Mitsuya were doing their best to heard everyone through the doors into the 'recon room'
I leave the twins to roll about on the ground as I go to fetch Baji and Chifuyu who had claimed the sofas and had their legs hanging off of the side, reading manga...peacefully. Who is he and what has he done with Baji?
"Oí, Lazer time" I say, snatching the book out of Chifuyu's hands and walking away
"Hey hey I just bought that, be careful with it" he hops up and chases after me as I break into a sprint.
I jump up on a chair and onto the table and run along it, laughing as Chifuyu fought to keep up untill I feel something solid hit me from the side and I fly off of the table. I land with a loud thump on the floor and see a long haired boy climbing off me, Chifuyu's book in hand.
"Hey no fair" I groan out as I try to get up, my shoulder aching
Mikey lets out a laugh similar to a hyena
"Oí shut up and go polish your crocs" I yell back, rubbing my shoulder and standing back up
"They're not crocs, they're flipflops" he yells back, rolling his eyes. I refuse to call them anything other than crocs and he utterly hates it
"Yeah keep rolling your eyes, maybe you'll find a brain back there" I call out with a mocking laugh. I begin to walk towards the large double doors that lead to the next room
"I would insult you back but I'm afraid I won't do as well as nature did" the small boy said with a grin
I stand up tall and drop my hand from my shoulder. I make eye contact with him across the room for 5 seconds before dashing towards him
As soon as he sees me move he darts off towards the doors, looking for someone to hide behind. True, I could never take him in a fight but my pinches are known to make a grown man cry.
I run after him laughing as I see him jump into Ken's arms. Draken drops the gun he'd bee fiddling with to catch him and gives me a very confused look. Him and Mitsuya had finally founded everyone up and gotten them into the recon room. I find an empty seat next to Angry and sit down with a sigh
He has his arms crossed across his chest and doesn't seem to notice me sit down next to him. As the man stands at the front explaining the rules and how to hold and aim the guns I run my hand down his arm from his shoulder and he uncrossed his arms and opens his hand allowing my to slip my hand in. As I entwine our fingers, he turns to look at me and flashes me a sweet smile before turning back and listening to the man once more.
"So the body gear will have 4 lit up areas, you can score points by shooting another person's targets with varying scores for each target. If you are hit, you'll have around 10 seconds where you cannot shoot and nobody can shoot you-"
"Psssst"
Why can't I go 20 seconds without somebody distracting me
"What?" I whisper back
"Be on my team"
I turn and see a red head leaning forwards in his seat, watching me expectantly
"I didn't know you could whisper"
"Yeah it's a secret, don't tell Souya" he answers, taking a swig of his water bottle. It had a giant angry face on the front of it, Angry has a matching one with a happy face instead
"Don't tell Souya what?" The blue boy turns around to join our conversation, not letting go of my hand
"Smiley has chlamydia"
Smiley spits his water out, it just happens that he was facing to his left and Kazutora was sitting there.
The man at the front pauses and the group goes quiet, the only sound being made was Smiley's coughing.
Kazutora stands up and slowly turns to Smiley
"I told you to use protection 'hoya" Angry turns back to look at the man who was still standing frozen, watching us.
"Sorry for the disruption" He bows his head slightly and the man continues on after taking a couple of seconds to drag his eyes away from Kazutora who was now beating the shit out of a still coughing Smiley
As I look around, I let out a laugh. No one was even acknowledging the fight that was going on at the back
"So uhh you'll be able to see your scores and ranks at the end...any questions?"
I see Baji raise his hand, oh no
"Yes?"
Baji stands up
"Do we get any extra points if we hit someone in the face with the gun?"
"No because there are no sensors on the face to detect that"
Chifuyu pops up beside him
"No he means if you break their nose with the physical gun, do we get any extra points"
"I don't think that's what he mea-", the man starts, letting out a forced laugh
"Oh no, it was" Baji confirms
"Uhh no in fact you'll be disqualified"
"What if it's consented?" Mikey quickly stands up
"I don't think it would be consente-"
"I hereby give my permission for Souya to twat me in the face with his gun" I say, standing up with one hand raised and the other held to my heart
"And by his gun you mean his-"
"HIS LAZER GUN DRAKEN" I twist around to glare at him, grabbing the back of my chair
"And by his Lazer gun you mean his c-"
"NO, NO I DO NOT, THANK YOU"
"OI, YOU'RE SCARING THE GUY" Mitsuya joins in the yelling
I glance over at the man at the front, he looked like he was about to cry
"Yeah yeah chill out, you're gonna make him wet himself" I add with a laugh
This receives a couple laughs from the group as the guy turns red and starts looking at the door, probably hoping he'll be able to leave soon
"Any other questions or are we gonna go shoot things?" Draken asks
Hakkai raises his hand
"No? Good, let's go!" A chorus of yells fills the air as seats and water bottles get lobbed across the room at each other. All's it takes is one word for chaos to break out
Things can only get worse from here.
The guy at the front opens a door and motions for us to go through where there are more guys waiting with the body gear the first dude was talking about. They call us forwards one by one and help us into them untill everyone other than Mikey is ready to go
"It's too loose" he whined
"It won't go any tighter" Draken is resting a leg on Mikey's side and is using it as leverage to pull Mikey's gear tighter
"This is the tightest it will go"
"But it's still loose"
"Mikey think wide thoughts"
I head over to where Mitsuya, Hakkai and Kazutora were waiting.
"So how are we splitting teams again?' I ask
"We could do three team captains and have them choose members?" Hakkai suggests with a shrug
"Yeah that's not half bad" I reply with a smile
"Oí guys let's get three team leaders and have them pick their members"
"Yeah that's a good idea y/n"
"But it was my ide-" Hakkai mumbles
"Yeah nice one y/n"
Someone slaps me on the back and I feel someone wrap their arm around my neck and ruffle my hair.
"But-"
"So who should be the team leaders?"
"Y/N should be one since she thought of it"
"Wait but it was m-"
"And Mikey-kun too"
"Who should be the last one then?"
"She wasn't the one who thought of it thou-" Hakkai grew quieter with each sentence
"I vote Draken" I say loudly, pointing my thumb at the tall boy who was still fiddling with Mikey's straps like the mother he is
"Yeah Draken you should be the third one" Mitsuya adds with a nod towards his friend
"In that case..." Draken begins. He drops his leg and begins walking away from Mikey
"Hey it's still loose"
"Can't be caught helping the enemy, Micheal"
Mikey shoots a grin at his friend before turning to the rest of us
"I pick Baji as my first member"
Baji grins and lazily walks over towards the commander, hands not leaving his pockets
"Who said you could pick first?" I call out
"I said, now Ken-chan it's your turn"
"Oi" I yell
"I pick Angry" I twist quickly to look at Draken. Why on earth is he picking Souya first? Not that he isn't strong but there are plenty stronger than him that Draken is closer with
I glance over at my boyfriend and see him with a similar confused look plastered on his face. He gives a quick shrug before hesitantly walking over to Draken
That bastard just stole my man
"Fine then, I pick Mitsuya" I grin at the division captain who lets out a chilled laugh before joining me.
"Pah, get over here"
"Chifuyu"
"Smiley....don't make me regret this"
"No promises, chief"
"Hakkai"
"I wanted to be with Taka-chan" He muttered bitterly as he trudged over
"Peh-yan"
"KAZUU"
"Finally" he muttered with an eye roll
"Can't believe it took you this long"
"Be happy I picked you at all, asshole"
He's been my best friend since we were 5, he's been there for through the highs and lows...but that doesn't mean he can just come into my home and eat my last pack of Yakisoba.
"For the last time, I'm sorry"
"Uh huh"
"Is everyone ready?"
"Yeah"
"Yup"
"I guess"
"Baji-san's hair is caught in his gear"
"Cut it"
"NO"
"Fine, suffer"
Chifuyu quickly and carefully pulls Baji's hair out of his gear and hands him a bobble head been keeping on his wrist. Baji sleeks his hair back with his hand and tied it up in a ponytail
"You know...I've heard tight ponytails can make you go bald early"
Baji's eyes widen and I see him reach back and frantically loosen the pony tail.
"She's joking"
"I'm n-" I grunt in pain as I feel Mitsuya elbow me in the side
"She's joking"
"Alright are we good to go?"
A chorus of hell yeahs and whoops echo through the small room as the man finally opens the doors to the arena
"Tall one, you are the purple team, blondy, you're the blue team, girly, you're the green team"
I step out from the dimly lit room into the bright open arena. There were tires, metal square sheets and wooden shields to hide behind along with trees and a couple underground corridors that lead to other sections.
"You have a minute to get into positions and the gear will be turned on"
I turn to see my group following me, I give a quick thumbs up and they return it before we sprint off towards a hut on the far side of the arena. I slip through the wooden doorway and wait for everyone to join me before moving further into it. It was made of only one room and a staircase that lead to the flat rooftop
"I guess this is our base then?" Mitsuya said, peering out of one of the many shooting holes
"Yeah, looks sturdy enough" I reply, carefully moving up the wooden stairs to look out at our surroundings.
I see Draken's group running for a similar hut on the other side of a dropped down bit. I point my gun towards them and see a green dot appear on the back of Draken's nearly bald head
So that's how we aim I guess
I quickly run back down the stairs
"Purple team is in a hut like ours on the other side of the gap, I haven't seen the Blues anywhere but I saw Mikey looking towards one of the metal towers right before we were released" I watch as my team forms a circle, all watching for what I had to say
I'm team captain afterall
"Any suggestions on a plan? We'll make it together to optimise our strengths"
"Isn't optimise a pretty big word for you?"
"Kaz...do you want me to bring up the time when you-"
"NO, NOT NECESSARY"
"Are you sure? I'm sure Mitsuya would enjoy hearing about when you tr-"
"YES I'M SURE, SHUT UP Y/N" He lightly smacks the back of my head and I grin at him while rubbing my neck.
"I reckon we just run and shoot em all" Smiley says with a, you guessed it, smile
"Get up close and break their noses with the butt of our guns, then shoot them in the head" Kazutora adds, nodding his head at Smiley's suggestion
"Yeah I don't think our next trip should be to the hospital so how about we play by the rules, at least for now" Mitsuya replies
"Yeah, so I was thinking we make a break for one of the underground tunnels and come up near the Purple base and snipe a couple from afar so they lose they ability to shoot then storm the place...and then find some good high ground and camp there"
"And this, my dear y/n, is why we made you our captain" Kazutora places a heavy hand on my shoulder and smiles down at me.
"Uhh no, I was captain before you even joined"
"Don't ruin the moment"
"Wait so when do we get to kill people?"
"You can't kill people with lazers Smiley"
"Why not?"
I let out a loud sigh
"I don't have the time nor the crayons to explain it to you"
An almost robotic sounding voice echoes through the arena and our gear comes to life lighting up the dark room a light green colour
"Let the match begin"
"Hell yeah"
"Let's go"
I stand at the door and wait for them to join my side before nodding to them and running for the dip in the ground about 20 meters away. I see a blue dot following me, nearly on my heels. As it gets closer I dive forwards, landing in the tunnel and sliding down on my stomach. I hear the others footsteps echo through the dark opening and I see them quickly follow me in.
"Everyone okay?"
A get a couple nods of assurance before I turn and sprint through the corridor, gun ready in hand
"Run on the balls of your feet, it'll dampen the sound" Mitsuya calls out
The thundering of footsteps suddenly diminishes
Huh, what do you know? He was right
As we came to a fork in the corridor I turn my head to see my team chasing my heels
"On your left" I call back to them before turning and running down the left corridor
They turn a moment after me and follow me down the corridor. I see light growing as we near the exit and I come to a stop before peaking my head up and quickly pulling it back down
Mitsuya does the same thing before we tread back into the corridor slightly
"Purple base is 100m away to the left, there's a couple places for us to hide on the right if we move quickly" He discloses before looking back at me for the rest of the plan. I must say Kaz and Smiley are keeping quiet so far, wonder how long that's gonna last
"Yeah, and when we get there take aim on the two story wooden base, they should have a couple slits in like ours that we'll be able to shoot through"
"Got it"
"Aight"
"Ready?"
I'm met with a quiet chorus of yeses before we sneak over the entrance and jolt out into the sunlight. I instantly dart to the right and duck behind a giant metal square sheet stuck in the ground. It was around 7 by 7ft and blocked me nicely from their view. Smiley joins me behind it and Mitsuya and Kazutora both hide behind one of their own
I pop my head around the corner and point my gun towards the purple base. I spot a tall figure moving around in there and quickly take aim and fire at it
I hear a cry of outrage then Smiley lets out an evil laugh, he must have got one too.
"Go, go, go" I whisper, pointing to fingers towards the base.
We sprint out from behind our covers and run at the base, guns raised and shooting. We're met with lazers pointed at our chests but before we know it we're at the door of the base and we rush through. I quickly shoot at Draken a second time and see Chifuyu's lights go down too
I rush up the stairs and find a completely empty room
"Rats, The other two are missing"
Draken lets out a smug laugh and grins at us
"You didn't think we'd just sit around and wait did you?"
Oh no
"It's a trap, get out quick" I yell to the others as I rush towards the door.
I almost run right into a tall blue haired figure and see my green light disappear
"YOU BITCH" I yell, shoving past the blue boy and running back to safety. I'm gonna kill him when I next see hi-
"Love you, y/n"
...
"Love you too" I call back angrily as I dart down into the underground again. I see Peh-yan waiting and jump down, my feet not touching the ground as I fly down the drop. My right foot reaches Peh-yan's face first and he drops to the ground and I keep on running.
"Oooh yayy, murder!!" Smiley cries out happily as he lands on Peh-yan and keeps running
Mitsuya jumps down next and a couple of seconds pass before I see Kazutora slide down, his face hitting the ground
"They.....they got me" he calls out hoarsely
"Kazutora, no" I yell, running back to my friend. I sit him up slightly and tuck my hand under his head. He grabs onto my other hand with his and smiles up at me, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth
"You're gonna be okay"
"It's too late for me, y/n, save yourselves"
"We're not leaving without you"
"No man....or Kazutora....left behind" Smiley joins in
"You've got to survive, live....for me" he lets out a painful sounding cough as more blood dribbles out
"What the fuck"
"Mitsuya do you mind, my best friend is dying here"
"He got shot by a toy lazer, where did the fucking blood come from"
"So long cruel world" Kazutora closes his eyes and I feel his head go limp in my hand
"NOO!"
"Seriously, did he bite his tongue when he fell or something?"
"NOT NOW MITSUYA"
"They went down here" I hear someone call out faintly
Kazutora scrambles up and legs it down the corridor, I stay on his heels before quickly taking the lead. This time I take the other path when we reach the fork on the road again, hopefully they carry on straight and we lose them
"Would you look at that, it's a Hanukkah miracle"
"You're not Jewish"
"And it's April"
"It's a Hanukkah miracle if I say it's a Hanukkah miracle"
The footsteps grow louder, they're gaining on us and by the sound of it, I think it's Draken and Chifuyu
"I'll meet you guys up there"
I suddenly dart backwards and run towards the thundering of footsteps, gun raised. The rock walls really make everything so much louder than it should be
As I turn the corner I start shooting, catching chifuyu off guard and hitting him in the chest but before I could turn towards the other one, Draken gets me in the side. Both mine and Chifuyu's gear makes a power down noise as the colours disappear and Draken continues running down the corridor.
I'm left there, looking at Chifuyu as he just stops awkwardly
"Should we...chase after him?"
"....yeah probably"
I turn on my heel and dash forwards but Chifufu takes the lead. I turn down a smaller corridor and see a blue coloured glow coming from it.
I begin shooting at it as I run and find a powered down Baji, rounding the corner.
"Haha gotcha"
"I'm going to break every bone in your body"
"No thanks I need those" I yell, running past him. He doesn't make a move to chase me, instead watches me run down the narrowing corridor. That's weird
I hit a solid wall
Wait no, it's too warm to be a rock wall
I look up and see that familiar blue hair once again and his face is illuminated by my green glow. He had a shocked look on his face and he quickly brings his gun up from where it was swinging at his side.
I shove him against the wall and press a rough kiss to his lips, he freezes and drops the gun. As it clatters to the ground I feel him kiss back, still shocked at what had just happened.
I pull away and shoot him in the chest before continuing running down the corridor
"I'm not even mad" I hear him mumble as he reaches down to pick up his gun
I finally reach the end and come up into the light. I scan my surroundings and see a flurry of lazers firing between a base and some tires
It looks like all three colours of Lazer
I run as a curve to it, keeping behind covers and trying to find an angle to shoot from. I sneak up a couple of stairs, taking me up to a platform where I find a wheezing Pah-chin
I fire a lazer into his chest as he looks up at me. He had been standing with his hands on his knees, gasping for air
I hear loud footsteps racing up the stairs I'd just come up and I dart past Pah-chin and into a base
Hakkai is standing there, hands in the air in defeat
I hold the gun up and aim for his middle before pausing
"Where....where is your gun?"
"Baji took it"
"Baji took your gun?"
"Yeah he wanted two"
I quickly grab a rock off the floor and gently toss it to the lanky boy
"Here, he's in the tunnel to the right of here if you want it back"
He laughs before taking off out of the door. Not without me firing a shot at him first, turning his gear off.
Mine makes the familiar sound too as I turn and see a gun poking through a slit in the room. I race out the door and round and ram the butt of the gun into the invincible Mikey's middle. I run off back towards where Pah had been dying and see him tilting off of the side of the platform and then falling and also see a giggling Smiley's outstretched hand
I clutch my stomach, roaring with laughter
"DID YOU JUST PUSH HIM OFF?" I yell out between deep breaths
"You have no proof" he yells back with a malicious grin. He turns and runs back down the stairs, gesturing for me to follow him
Before doing so I turn and finally shoot at Mikey who turns the corner. His face scrunches up as his gear turns off
I run down the steps, taking two at a time and see Smiley waiting at the bottom, a tied up Chifuyu on the floor next to him, a gag wrapped around his mouth
I reach down and untie the gag before snatching up his gun and running
"Taking tips from Baji I see" I hear Mitsuya call out
I turn quickly towards the voice and see him standing on top of a tire with a beaten up Kazutora beside him
"You look like a chicken and a monkey had a kid and stepped on it" I remark with a laugh
"I feel like it too" he replies, rubbing his bruised face
"Baji?"
"No, Pah, the dickhead hit me over the head with a brick"
"You probably deserved it"
"What? How?"
"I don't know but 90% of the time you have done something to deserve it so I'm going with my gut feeling"
"Oh shut up or I'll kill you"
"Sure you will kiddo"
Something hard hits the side of my head and my vision grows blurry
I twist to see Kazutora holding his hand up, ready to throw another rock
"DID YOU JUST THROW A FUCKING ROCK AT ME?" I scream
"Found them" a faint voice echoes

I bolt through the maze of giant tires and sheets of metal untill we reach a giant tower made of metal sheets, I usher the boys inside and hurry in after them. We rush up the stairs and get to the top level, crouching down with our guns aimed off of the edge.
We've found it
We've finally found it
The high ground
I shoot at a limping Hakkai and then turn to shoot a crouched down Chifuyu. Then I lock onto a wild Mikey grabbing onto Draken's back and trying to bash his head in with his gun. Each time I get a point, they look around confused, not knowing where it came from
My gear turns off suddenly and I see Baji standing at the door, one gun slung over his shoulder, and the other aimed at me. I jump up and tackle him, falling down a couple stairs. I hear more footsteps coming from below so I bolt back up, leaving a barely conscious Baji. He must have hit his head on the stairs
I reach the top floor and see Mitsuya, Smiley and Kazutora running across a bridge. Kazutora and Smiley are in the timeout and Smiley stamps on the bridge with a maniacal laugh.
It doesn't last long as the metal suddenly creaks and begins to tip. Smiley runs and jumps into the next roof where Kazutora and Mitsuya were waiting before turning back to look at me
"Run guys, I'll find a way off, trust me"
I receive a nod from Mitsuya who pulls on the shirt of Kazutora and grabs the back of Smiley's collar, pulling him up. The three disappear down a staircase and I quickly scan my surroundings
The footsteps get louder and I realise I only have one option
I'm gonna have to go over the edge
I hang my gun back into its place on my belt. Moving quickly, I climb onto the ledge and hang my body down it, looking for where to put my feet. I see another ledge below me and so I drop down, grabbing onto it. My right hand slips leaving only my left hand. I feel a hand grab mine and I see the Blue boy above me once more
"Grab on" He whispers with a very worried look covering his face
I swing my body up and grab onto his other outstretched hand he pulls me up. I finally get a footing and scramble over the ledge
I'm pulled into a strong hug by Souya who buries his head in my neck.
"Y/n, it's just a game, please don't do that again"
"But-"
"Promise me....please"
"Okay I promise"
He pulls me tighter
"Thank you"
He pushes away suddenly and grabs my hand
He begins running through a door, dragging me with him. We run down the stairs and out of the door, at first I'm hesitant and confused but I quickly begin running with him. He takes me behind a large sheet of metal before taking the barrel of my gun and pointing it into his chest
"Shoot me"
"What? Why?"
"You want to win don't you?"
"Well yeah but-"
"Then shoot me, I want to see you win"
"But-"
"Do it" he pushes the barrel into his chest
I look him in the eyes and see the familiar warmth in them as he smiles down at me
"Okay"
I pull the trigger and feel him quickly push me backwards into the sheet of metal and planting a gentle kiss on my lips before pulling away and resting his gun over his shoulder
"That's for before" he whispers with a wink before disappearing around the metal sheet
I stand there for a couple seconds before he runs back into view
"I didn't hurt your back did I?"
I let out a laugh as his face scrunches up. He reminds me of a puppy sometimes
"Nah I'm good"
"Good" he turns and runs back out of view and I let out a laugh before picking my gun up from where I'd dropped it and running through an arch of stone
"1 minute remaining"
Well there's no point hiding in the last minute, may as well shoot as many people as I can
I dart out from the obstacles that had been hiding me the whole match and run out into the open. I shoot a very distressed Hakkai who still had no gun
I take aim and shoot a still fighting Draken and Mikey. Their guns lay untouched on the ground, I run past and kick them out of the way
I hear my gear shut down and turn to see Baji with a crazy look in his eyes
Peh-yan drops his gun and runs at Baji from behind, jumping onto his back and covering his eyes
Baji attempts to buck off his friend and I take my chance to run
I see a fallen Mitsuya and race towards him, throwing a punch at Pah-chin who was grabbing onto his leg. I swing the gun, hitting him in the face and see my green colour reappear
I shoot him quickly and turn towards Baji and Peh-yan, shootng them both too.
I grab Mitsuya's wrist and drag him back onto his feet. He runs past the gun he had dropped on the floor and launches a knee into Chifuyu's side.
I grab his gun and throw it at Kazutora who was on top of Smiley raining down punches
He sits up and looks at me, rubbing the back of his head. A look of betrayal appeared on his face
"SMILEY IS ON OUR TEAM YOU WET NOODLE"
"Oh shit yeah, sorry bro" He scrambles up and offers a hand out to a bleeding Smiley who slaps it out of the way.
"You sir, are the reason god invented the middle finger" Smiley replied, showing him his own
"Only trying to help" Kazutora mumbles
"You poor thing, you're not pretty enough to be this dumb" I reply with a pout
I turn on my heel and run around the back of a shack and see Souya sitting with his back against the cold metal.
I quickly rush over to him and fall to my knees beside him
"You okay?" I cup his face in my hands, furrowing my brows
"Yeah just worn out"
"Oh, good, I thought you were hurt at first"
I twist and fall into the empty seat next to him and feel him wrap an arm around me and pull me in
"Been one hell of a day, huh?"
"Absolutely"
"I wish I had been on your team"
"Me too" He replied sadly
We sit there listening to the roaring screams and heavy footsteps of the battle going on on the other side of the shack
I lean my head on Souya's shoulder who leans his on top of mine I response
"The game is over, please return to the recon room"
"Sure thing, disembodied voice"
I giggle as Souya sits up and rises to his feet. He turns and offers me a hand which I take and don't let go off when I'm finally back on my feet.
I grab my gun as he leads us back around the shack and we see everyone helping each other up
I'd say 'how sweet' or something if they hasn't been the ones that had actually injured each other.
Dipshits
Draken carried a sleeping Mikey on his back and carried both of their guns in one hand, Pah had blood running down his face and was helping a limping Peh-yan walk. Mitsuya was carrying an unconscious Hakkai bridal style while Kazutora anxiously hurried after an annoyed Smiley. Baji was helping a limping Chifuyu hobble back to the big doors and Draken and Mitsuya were collecting all of the fallen guns as they passed.
The huge doors opened again and we all shuffled back inside of the dark room, in varying degrees of pain.
Takemitchi rushes out to greet us, followed by Hina and Emma. They freeze as they see us and Takemitchi's mouth drops open
"It was a simple game of lazer tag, what happened?"
"HEY I SAID NO PHYSICAL HARM" the man ran over to us
"Tell us what to do again and I'll beat the shit out of you" Pah growls out
"Yeah, we'll kill ye" Smiley laughs
The man immediately backs off and starts trying to collect in the guns, two of which were broken beyond repair.
"Maybe next time we should just do arm wrestles or something" Draken groans our, scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah probably a smart idea" Mitsuya agrees, holding his side
"Why will there be a next time? Oí who won?" I yelled over to the guy in charge
"Well you're all disqualifi- uhhh let me check"
He quickly changed his tone when every member of Toman shot him a glare that promised violence
"Purple team came first, then Blue, then Green"
"YEAH"
"HELL YEAH"
"IS RIGHT"
Mitsuya weakly raises a fist in the air in celebration
"Now all of you get the fuck off of my property or I'll call the cops"
He's met with a couple laughs from the guys as we make our way towards the exit
"This was fun" Souya mumbles quietly to me, leaning towards me as we walked
"We should do this again but me and you go on a team together"
"Yeah, that would be fun"
"AND ME" Smiley adds, wrapping his arms around us and sticking his head between us
"Ha ha no"
Souya pushes him away by his face
"But-"
"No buts"
