24 Hours Ago
Leia’s Pov
I woke up with a smile on my face and the memories of yesterday. It really was a great night. I wouldn’t ask for better. Parker was really trying hard to be the mate I want. And I have to say he was succeeding.
I smelt a sudden scent. It was a little faded but I could still smell it. Then there was a knock my door.
“Come in.” I said, but there was only silence. Well that’s weird. I got from the bed an opened the door but there was no one. Just as I was about to close the door, a bucket of red rose caught my eye. There was a note on it. I picked them up and smelt it. I took the note and read it.
Good morning beautiful…
I taught it would be a good thing to wake up with as beautiful as you. I’ll be waiting for you in the kitchen. Do you like waffles?
Parker
I smiled instantly. This guy is really something else. I quickly took a shower and put a blue tank top, black skinny jeans and my converse on. I put some make-up, consist of black eyeliner and mascara, I pulled my hair in to a bun. And walked out of the door.
When I was at the last step of the stairs an excited shout stopped me.
“Leeeeiiiiaaaaa!” I saw Kayla running towards me with teddy bear bigger than her height.
“Morning, Kayla.” I greeted her.
“Look, Mason brought me a teddy bear. Isn’t it cute.” She smiled and hugged tighter at it.
“It’s beautiful. So did you show it to your parents?” I asked
“Oh my god! I forgot, I’ll go and show them” she said excitedly and I couldn’t help but chuckle at her cute expression. She ran away before I could say another thing.
I walked towards the kitchen just to see Parker cooking. He didn’t realize me so I just leaned to the doorframe and watched him. He was so happy when he was doing it that I couldn’t stop him. He was whistling a melody that I didn’t know.
I got closer to him and gave him a peck on the cheek. He turned around and when he saw me his smile grew, if that’s possible.
“Good morning beauty” he said
“Morning, and thanks for the roses they are amazing.” I said
“They are nothing compare to you.” I felt my cheeks blushed and looked away. He chuckled and said
“Come on, I made you some waffle.” He held my hand and guided me to my seat. The smell of the waffle made my mouth watered. He put the plate in front of me and without second thought I started to eat. Trust me when I am hungry nothing, I mean nothing can stand between me and food.
Parker laughed.
“Babe, slow down. No one is taking your plate away from you.” he said making me blush
He touched my lips when I looked at him angrily. He was looking so intense that I wanted to look away but couldn’t. It’s like he hypnotized me. He leaned closer and closer, just as he was about to kiss me we heard throat clearing, when I looked up I saw my father standing in front of the room and looking at us and raised one eyebrow.
“I don’t want grandchildren just yet.” He said. I was so shocked that I couldn’t say anything but Parker started laughing with dad. I think there is something going on between them but I didn’t understand but it really feels good to see them getting along well.
When dad walked out, I turned to Parker whose laughing subsided.
“What the hell was that?” I asked
“That was my dear was your father’s acceptation of us.” He said smiling
“Oh” I said couldn’t find another word to describe this situation
“We were really busy with all those problems that I couldn’t I ask you the thing I want to ask for a while.” He said screeching behind his neck.
“What is it?” I asked
“Will you go on a date with me?”
Parker’s Pov
“Will you go on a date with me?” I asked
I was really nervous because I was waiting for her to say no. I think he understood my worried expression because a small smile started to form on her face
“Sure” she said blushing. I couldn’t help but smile.
“I’ll take you from your room at 6, ok?” I asked
“Okay, I have to go now.” She said
“Okay, see you tonight.” I said and grinned.
“Oh and dress something nice.” I said and walked away
God she accepted. YES! I have to make this day perfect.
I went to my room. There’s still 6 hours for our date. I decided to talk with Laura maybe he can help about the perfect date.
I arrived at Laura’s room 10 minutes later. I knocked the door and waited.
“Come in.” she said
“Hey Laura, I need to talk to you about something.” I heard a noise behind me when I turned around I saw Liam.
“Hey dude.” I said
“Hey man, so will it be a problem if I listen?” he said
“No man, so Laura I want to I talk to you about Leia. I want to take her to the perfect date and I taught it’s a good idea take some advices from you.”
“There is one thing that can make her happy.” She said
Well that was easy. So I asked
“What is it?”
“You. Your love and your kindness will be the only thing that can make her happy. She loves you Parker, no matter how much she wanted to take revenge from you she always loved you. You want my advice? Just don’t make her cry. She had enough.” She said
She is right. And I know that I will never hurt her but I have to be extra careful.
After that I didn’t say a word just nodded and walked out to get ready.
Leia’s Pov
After I accepted Parker’s date, I decided to go to Laura to help me with dressing. When I arrived her room, I heard some noise and I recognized Parker’s voice instantly. They were talking about me.
“You. Your love and your kindness will be the only thing that can make her happy. She loves you Parker, no matter how much she wanted to take revenge from you she always loved you. You want my advice? Just don’t make her cry. She had enough.” Laura said
Wow she talks deep. After I heard that I knew Parker had nothing to say so I just walked into my room and decided to choose my dress.
6 hours later
I found the dress I want to wear but I have no idea how I want to do my hair. I spent my last 6 hour with watching TV and reading books. I have to say I got bored so I decided to take a long bath.
I took off my clothes and turned on the hot water, then got into the tub. God, hot water makes me feel so good.
I have no idea how long I stayed in the water. I was getting out when I heard mom calling for me so wrapped a towel and walked in to my room.
“I’m here.” I said
“Oh honey, I wanted to ask if there is anything that I can help. I heard about your date.” She said with a knowing smile
“Where did you hear it?” I asked. I thought no one knew.
“Are you kidding? Everyone in the castle is talking about it.” Laura said when she walked into the room
“Everyone, really?”
“Yes and I have to say pretty much every male is jealous because Parker moved before them.” Mom said
“Wow, but Parker is my mate and all the men are known that I won’t date with them even if I didn’t have a mate. It’s like my principle.” I said
“Yes but you know, every men can dream sweetie. You’re beautiful and a princess. You are the mate that everybody wants to be with. They just can’t handle the idea of you are not being in the market.” Said Laura
“Wow, thank I feel like I’m goods.” I said
They laughed and mom wrapped her arm around my shoulder.
“So, did you pick your dress?” she asked
“Yeah but I don’t know how to do my hair and make-up.” I said
“Oh don’t worry, we’ll handle it.” Laura said with a wicked glint in her eyes
“Laura, I swear the god sometimes I think you’re going to kill me while you’re doing my make-up.” I said and laughed
“Whatever girl, you have half an hour so go get dress. Go, come on get out.” She said and pushed me to my closet.
I found my dress and put the matching black underwear under it. When I decided that I was ready, mom and Laura were standing in front of my make-up table waiting for me. I sat on the chair and let them do my hair and make-up.
After 30 minutes Laura sighed.
“You look…” said mom but couldn’t finish because of the tears in her eyes.
“Amazing.” Completed and looked at me with awe
“If I do look good why are you crying mom?” I asked
“Baby I knew you were beautiful but you-you are amazing.” She said
When I turned around to look at myself, I couldn’t recognize the girl in front of me. She was wearing a black dress finishing at the mid-thigh with a long back cleavage, and her make-up was light but elegant, just with light eye-shadow and red lipstick, her hair was tied in a ponytail and she had beautiful but simple high-heeled.
“Wow” was the only word that escaped from my mouth. Just then the door knocked. Oh God this is Parker. I’m Soooo excited; my heart is like going to burst out of my chest.
I opened the door to see a very hot looking Parker in his suit. Just like me he was checking out too. When our eyes met he looked at with love, admiration and lust. I may not see myself but I’m sure I have the same expression too.
“You look breathtaking.” He said
“You’re not so bad yourself.”I said smiling
He smiled and offered me his hand which I took without hesitation.
While we were walking I could see glares towards us. If looks could kill then Parker and I would be six-feet-under. Parker, because of the looks of jealousy and me because of the lust in their eyes. When we arrived to garage he turned to me.
“Your dad said that we should take his AC Cobra 427.” He said excitedly like a little kid in the candy shop. But I shocked myself too because dad has never let anyone drive that car. That is car special because dad met mom when he was driving it. And mom was the first girl who has ever been in it. I smiled at the thought of dad accepting Parker.
“Okay, let’s go. By the way, where are we going?” I asked
“It’s a surprise. Oh and put this on.” He said and gave me a blindfold
“Really, I’m starting to think that you will kill me.” I said
“Babe, I’d never hurt you. Besides if I want to kill you then…” he leaned closer, his nose was touching my neck, giving me goose bumps.
“I would kill you with pleasure.” I shivered and bit my lip. He growled and looked me in the eye.
“Don’t do that.” He said in a dark voice.
“Do what?” I asked innocently, actually I really didn’t know what he was talking about.
“Don’t bit your lip only I can do that.” He said and I felt my heat rose and I blushed.
“Let’s just go.” I said and went into the car to keep myself from jumping him and rip his clothes off. God I really have to straight myself up.
Finally he got into the car and put the blindfold on. We drove like half an hour and I was starting to get restless.
“We’re here.” he said
“Finally!” I groaned and tried to take off the blindfold but Parker stopped me.
“Not yet.” He said. Seriously what is with the all mysterious men type? I heard the car’s door open and close. Then the door on my side opened. Parker held my hand and pulled me out of the car.
He slowly helped me to walk and suddenly stopped.
“Ok here it is.” He said and gave me my eyesight back. When I looked around I was speechless. It was only a park but with full of lights and a table with 2 candles and plates on it. Then I finally realized what it is. I turned to Parker and looked at him shocked.
“You remembered?” I asked but couldn’t keep my voice straight because I felt my eyes watered.
“How could I forget the most amazing day of my life? We met that day and you were beautiful with long brown hair and beautiful grayish-green eyes that looked at me with a breathtaking smile that never faded.” He said smiling and held my hands.
Yes this was a park that looks exactly like our park. The place where we met. Even before I learned that he was the alpha’s son.
**Flashback** 13 years ago same day**
“Sweetheart, are you ready? Come on if you want to play longer than we should go out now.” Mom yelled and I ran the stairs and jumped into her arms.
“Let’s go mommy.” I said
We went to the park near our house. It was a small park but it was my favorite place. I went to the swings and started to swing. Just as I was about to go higher, I slipped and fell to the ground and started to cry.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt? Let me look.” A voice said in front of me. When I looked at his face, I saw the cutest kid I have ever seen. He had tangled blond hair and piercing baby blue eyes. He sat next to me and touched my leg.
“Don’t worry, it will be okay soon. Please don’t cry. You’re beautiful and crying not looks good on you.” He said. I stopped crying looked at him.
“Do you think I’m cute?” I asked. He blushed and looked away.
“Yes, you’re very beautiful.” He said
“Do you want to be friends?” I asked
His face lit up and looked back at me with happy eyes.
“Really? I really want to be friends with you. I’m Parker.” He said
“Nice to meet you Parker, I’m Leia.” I said
“You have a very different name. I’ve never had a friend called Leia. It’s so cool!” he said
“Thank you. So are we friend now?” I asked
“Forever and always”
**End of the Flashback**
“You are thinking the same memory. Aren’t you?” he asked
“Yes I was. We were inseparable. Until the middle school.” I said the last part as whisper. But he must have heard it because he touched my cheek and looked at me with sorry eyes.
“You have no idea how I miss that times with you. And if I had a chance to change everything happened to you, I would. You and I still inseparable Leia. I just couldn’t understand it sooner and I regret it. I’m sorry. I swear on my life I will never hurt you and let anyone hurt you either” He leaned and our foreheads touched.
“I think this apology is enough. You better keep that promise.” I said still crying softly. Wow I haven’t cried for 2 years and now I’m like a river or something.
“Forever and always babe.” He said and kissed me gently.
The rest of the night was amazing. We even danced in the middle of the park with the music coming from the car. God I wouldn’t ask for a better date.
We got into the car and started driving to the castle. We were laughing at random things all ride long. We stopped in front of the garage and walked into the house. Everywhere was quite, considering it’s almost midnight it is normal.
I was about to walk into my room, Parker pulled me from my arm and crashed me to his hard chest.
“I had so much fun tonight. Thank you.” I said
“You’re welcome. Same from me. It was a night to remember.” He stopped for a moment just as I was about to say something he said before me. “I love you Leia.” He said it with such sincerity that I was speechless but for my luck he understood it in a different way.
“I know you are not ready to tell me that but I just can’t keep it to myself anymore. You are the only girl that can make me feel like this. And I want everyone to know that you are mine and mine only.” He said and kissed me. I kissed him back. I may not be able to say it out loud yet but I can show how much I love him with this kiss.
When the kiss was over we were panting heavily. I locked my eyes with him.
“Goodnight” I said
“Goodnight my beautiful.” He said kissed my forehead and went to his room with a happy smile on his face. I had one too and when I get in to the room I collapsed to the floor and put my hand to my heart. God, this guy is already made me fall for him. My heart is like a bird in a cage. Just then door knocked and I opened it assuming it is Parker but I saw Chelsea instead.
“What do you want?” I asked
“I want you to out of the equation.” She said and I felt a big pain wave surround me. The only thing came to mind was Parker before I blacked out.
Parker’s Pov
It really was the greatest night of my life. Finally I said Leia that I love her. It doesn’t matter if she is not ready to say it out loud but it’s ok. I felt it in our kiss anyway.
Just as I was about to get into my room a huge pain wave surround me. I felt my chest tightened. When I looked down I saw nothing but I knew what was happening when my wolf cried in pain.
MATE!
I ran like my life was depending on it. Which it was. When I arrived to Leia’s room, I saw her on the floor covered in blood and choking. I felt to the floor on my knees next to her.
“Baby please, don’t leave me.” I said, tried to carry her to the doctor but she held her hand up to make me stop.
“M-my time is o-o-over. T-take c-care my love.” She said and touched me cheek.
“You can’t leave me. I can’t live without you. I love you Leia please don’t leave me.” I begged but it was too late. Her eyes closed and her hand on my cheek fell.
I lost the love of my life, the reason of me being alive.
She died in my arms.
