A/N: Sarah Fier x Hannah Miller

BACKSTORY: Hannah Miller, Pastor's daughter being forced to marry a man that she has no interest in, she had been battling with the struggle of even being around. I mean Caleb isn't exactly the best man for her. But Sarah's perfect for Hannah. However, they can't have each other. And they won't ever be able too.
By the way, I got this idea from when Laurie from Little Women (2019 version) confessed his feelings for Amy. So, enjoy!

Hannah Miller was in her room, she was writing down on a piece of parchment, she hummed and smiled at what she had written before her mother came in, she hid it and stood up then turned around.
"Caleb's here to see you, his mother has created a fine dress." Goody (PFFFT, still find her name funny) Miller exclaimed with a huge smile on her face, Hannah rolled her eyes and stayed silent, she walked past her mother and went into the living room to see Caleb holding a white stitched up dress, he stood up when she came in the room and showed it too her with a smile.
"Do you like it? My mother made it... just for you." He hummed out and wished to hear her opinion, in a matter of fact, she wanted to say that it was complete garbage and that she would never wear such a thing in her life, but of course because her pestering mother was right behind her, she simply had to accept and appreciate the 'gift'.
"I-It's... uhm, wow." She sighed out and nodded her head and then looked at Caleb and gave him a fake smile that he even picked up on was fake. "Definitely something."
"You do not like it?" He asked as his face furrowed, Hannah stared him down for a moment,
"N-No! I-I love it. It looks... divine." She complimented as a lump of throat began to form in her throat. She wished she could talk to Sarah but they had a falling out, when she found out that her and Caleb were to wed; she immediately confided her in what was going on as she heard that it wasn't fully confirmed, but when Hannah confirmed it. It shattered Sarah's heart. Sarah loathed Caleb and it made the longing of his death to come even quicker. Caleb smiled widely at her and set it down carefully, he walked over to her and showered her face with kisses and then placed a kiss on his lips that he seemed to find pleasuring as Hannah felt so uncomfortable. He parted and smiled.
"I best be off, my mother will be wanting to hear all about how you adore the dress." Caleb exclaimed,
"Oh, how delightful..." Hannah sarcastically said with a fake smile tugged on her lips that seemed so obvious, he nodded his head.
"Goody Miller." He bowed at her and let out a nervous laugh and left the house, Hannah sighed in relief and turned around.
"It's truly beautiful, is it not?"
"I have to go out." Hannah exclaimed as she rushed out of the house and over to Sarah's house, when she arrived however, just as she was about to knock on the door. Sarah came out, she looked exhausted, like death. "Sarah." She exclaimed and sighed in relief, "My gosh, you ought to rest. You look like death." Hannah gasped out, Sarah looked at her and teasingly rolled her eyes.
"Well look at you being flattering as ever." She smirked out which made Hannah blush and smile. "Is there anything you wanted too—"
"Can we talk in private?" Hannah asked, Sarah looked around and nodded her head,
"Uh, sure. My dad and Henry isn't home. Come in, come in." She grinned out, the two headed inside Sarah's house and sat down, "Is there anything I can get you—"
"No, I just... I need you to sit down." Hannah sighed out, Sarah nodded her head and sat down next to Hannah.
"Is everything alright?" Sarah asked,
"No... I don't want to marry Caleb but my mother is pushing me." Hannah complained, "I don't want him, he is cruel to everyone. And the dress... oh, the dress is... appalling! Honestly, when he showed me right then and there, I wanted to laugh and throw it in the bin." Hannah scoffed out as Sarah listened,
"I'm sorry, Hannah. Is there anything I can do?" She asked as she stood up and moved her chair closer, she sat down and took Hannah's right hand and began to lightly tread her finger-tips along her skin. Hannah sighed.
"I wish I could just marry you." Hannah whispered to her, Sarah tried to fight back a smile but failed. Miserably.
"I do too..." Sarah hummed out, Hannah glanced between Sarah's lips and her eyes, the two went to lean in but Sarah moved down and scoffed. "We can't..."
"Sarah, we must." Hannah pleaded, "I only feel things when I'm with you." She breathed out and placed her hand on the crook of Sarah's neck,
"Don't say that..."
"Sarah, I mean it."
"Hannah, stop." Sarah breathed out.
"Please, I want to be with you. Why shan't we be together?"
"Hannah... please..." Sarah pleaded as she took in a shaky breath, "I can't be with someone who is going to marry someone else." She explained then sighed as she moved back and looked down, she let go of Hannah's hand.
"Sarah... look at me." Hannah softly told her, Sarah's eyes shot right toward her. "You can't tell me that you don't love me..." She uttered.
"It's not that I don't love you.. I can't love you. Hannah, I just don't think it'll be right... I don't think it'll be right if you have someone loving you while you're not with me... fully."
"You know I can't break up with him though." Hannah sighed out,
"I know. I know, here..." She sighed out and kneeled down, "how about I make you a deal? Just for us?" She asked and Hannah nodded her head, Sarah smiled and leaned up a little, she moved a strand of hair behind Hannah's ear and admired her with a smile that made Hannah blush. "How about... if you two decide to... break up... we will be whatever you want, Hannah." Sarah whispered to her then cupped her face and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"You promise?"
"I promise." Sarah grinned out, Hannah smiled and nodded her head. The two stared at one another and smiled, Sarah sighed, "You're gonna have to show me the dress." Sarah giggled out which made Hannah blush,
"It is horrible."
"Well you look beautiful in anything, Hannah. Maybe if you add that flower crown that you wore, the night of when we went out in the woods." Sarah suggested,
"You liked that?"
"I liked your whole outfit. Hannah, you were beautiful that night... you are always beautiful." Sarah grinned out which made Hannah's heart flutter,

(2 months later)
A lot of planning had been happening for the wedding, and Hannah has been trying everything in her power to get the two to break up. She had been rude and she even managed to get Abigail to flirt with him constantly and... of course... it was progressively... WORKING!
Hannah was excited, she couldn't believe it. So, when she went inside to her house with the dress that she was wearing; she expected to see Caleb and Abigail... but no. Sarah Fier was seated on her couch, she smiled.
"Well, well, well... you truly look flattering as ever." Sarah complimented as she stood up and walked around the back of the couch and placed either hand on the couch, Hannah smiled and rushed to shut the door.
"Sarah.. what are you doing here?" Hannah asked, "I mean, I'm glad you're here... l-like so...so glad that you're here—" She cleared her throat, "I-I mean, what's up?"
Sarah smiled at this as she liked how much of an affect that she had over Hannah, she truly did. But she needed to express her feelings that she had been trying to put away every since they made their deal.
"Hannah, may we talk? I'll be as quick as I can! I assure you." Sarah grinned out, Hannah moved in front of her and took both of her hands,
"Of course, here, follow me. Abigail and Caleb shall be here any minute, I plan to break up with the brute." Hannah grinned out which made Sarah feel so much more happier to hear that. The two went into Hannah's room and Sarah sat Hannah down on the edge of her bed as she stayed stood up and looked down on Hannah.
"I'm sorry... for how I acted 2 months ago. The deal was a ridiculous because I thought I was doing everyone a favour but in reality... I wanted you more than anything." Sarah breathed out, "I say 'wanted' as if it's gone but it's only grown stronger... I don't know why but just knowing that I can't have you till this is all over just seems to make me even more attracted to you." Sarah admitted as Hannah tilted her head slightly and looked at her lips then back up at her eyes.
"I thought you couldn't love me...?"
"Hannah, you know two girls dating is... rare." She breathed out, Hannah nodded her head.
"What changed?" She asked,
"I stopped ignoring my heart." Sarah breathed against her lips as she looked down on Hannah, Hannah's head still slightly tilted, the two girls smiled and leaned closer toward one another, just as their lips were about to touch, the door opened and Hannah sighed and moved her head down, Sarah smiled. "Worst times ever..." She mumbled,
"I'm gonna need you to hide, alright?" Hannah breathed out,
"Whatever you want." She breathed out against her lips which made Hannah's face flush with blush. Sarah hid as when Hannah went out the room, she caught Abigail and Caleb kissing, "What the hell?!" She exclaimed, the two pulled away and turned to her.
"Hannah... I—"
"No! We're calling the wedding off, I can't believe you!"
"Hannah, I swear— I-I—"
"I am not! Hearing your excuses!" Hannah exclaimed, "Out. Both of you!" She exclaimed, he sighed.
"C-Can I at least... get the dress back?" He asked which Hannah scoffed at,
"It'd be my pleasure." She hummed out and stormed into her room to change into what she was wearing the night of the woods that Sarah told her, she wore the flower crown and in Sarah's favour, it did make her look very nice. She completely forgot that Sarah was in there and that this was staged, she genuinely was annoyed. She couldn't be bothered to tie the laces and left them untied which only made Sarah's need to feel Hannah's lips on her, grow.
Hannah went back into the living room, mid-way through putting her flower crown on and once it was on. Both Abigail and Caleb took a slight inhale, Caleb almost falling in love all over again. Hannah practically shoved it against his chest and pushed him back,
"I never loved you! Get out of my house!"
"Hannah—"
"I mean it, Caleb. Get out. I don't want to see you and we... we are no longer getting married and if you try to tell anyone! Differently or that you broke up with me... I will seriously hurt you." Hannah threatened with true hatred, he gulped nervously and nodded his head before he rushed out; Hannah sighed.
"You look very beautiful... Hannah. Sarah truly is a lucky women." She grinned out for her friend, it immediately calmed Hannah down hearing Sarah's name, she hummed in delight and swayed.
"I just feel grateful to be out of that situation."
"Yes, thank you, Abbi." Sarah thanked as she appeared, leaned against the door frame. Hannah was now the one who gulped nervously, she gave Abigail the money she had promised and off Abigail went.
Hannah didn't dare to turn around to look at Sarah as she already knew that she would get heavily teased by the girl,
"Oh, Hannah. What a perfect figure you have." Sarah complimented, she moved her hair to the right, her her back now being seeable but the t-shirt was still on. Sarah hummed in delight as her hands dragged down her back and once it got to her lower back; she dragged her finger-tips to either side of her waist. Hannah leaned further into Sarah's body and hummed.
"I'm glad we can be together... we just need to sneak around my mother." Hannah chuckled out of nervousness. Sarah placed a kiss on Hannah's shoulder and along the back till it got to her neck; Sarah moved her hair slightly upwards and made her way up, leaving a trail of kisses up her neck until she managed to find Hannah's sweat spot. She paused and looked at Hannah's whose head was now rested on Sarah's shoulder, waiting for her kiss.
"Tell me to stop and I shall." Sarah reiterated Hannah's words from the night at the woods which made her blush profoundly. Hannah turned around, and removed her head from Sarah's shoulder but kept her head close in front of hers.
"You have my attention." Hannah giggled out which made Sarah smile, the two leaned in, Sarah's hands on Hannah's waists and Hannah's right hand being delicately placed on Sarah's right cheek as she pulled her closer, they tilted their heads in different directions to deepen the kiss when their lips would attach.
When their lips did become placed against one another, it was magical for the two. All the blushes, all the flirting, all the kisses that would do but never know if it meant anything finally came to an end. They had to be a couple, so that's exactly what they become. Sarah living up to her promise.
(15 years later)
Hannah and Sarah were in some cottage, far away from town. Hannah and her mother had a falling out and they would go visit here and there to see their friends and work, but apart from that. They lived together, were happy and! They got to kiss whenever they liked as the only people who showed up to their house was their friends and they knew. They just hid it from all the parents.
Sarah woke up and groaned, she reached out for Hannah but didn't feel her in the bed, so, she got up and saw Hannah in the kitchen, she was humming to herself and making the two breakfast; Sarah snuck up behind her and wrapped her arms around Sam's waists.
"Good morning." Sarah sighed dreamily out, as she placed a kiss on her shoulder, then her cheek, then her lips like she did practically all the time. Hannah smiled and glanced at her,
"It's our day off! Are you excited?" Hannah exclaimed which made Sarah smile and nod her head.
"As long as whatever I do is with you, then I am more than happy." Sarah grinned out which made Hannah blush.
"Still... after 15 years and you still make me blush so easily." Hannah dreamily sighed out which made Sarah smile.
"It's good to know that I have at least one sort of affect on you as your the one who constantly looks gorgeous." Sarah exclaimed and showered her with affection; the two giggled and Sarah continued to help Hannah make breakfast.
The two finally happy and most importantly...
With each other.
