It started just like that. Kids begin to bully Jeff for being half breed. It ain't his fault for having a demon as his Dad. His mom was raped after all. She died in child birth.

Victor pushes the kids who bullied Jeff. He fights against them.
Jeff tends the wounded boy.
He comments, "You don't need to care for me. You are the son of a hero. Don't mingle with someone like me."
"A hero. Heh? I can't even protect a special person."
Their years went just like that. Occasional bullying. Fought against villagers for heavy discrimination.
One day Jeff fainted. His magic went overloaded and hurt some innocent passerby.
Victor brought him home.
The village chief has no choice but to expel Jeff for endangering the villagers.
Victor carries Jeff away from the village.
Jeff orders, "Put me down. I'm heavy."
"As light as a feather. You should eat more."
As the hero's descendant, he inherited his father's great strength.
They built a hut deep in the woods. Quite far from the village.
Another two years passed in quiet life.
Victor hugs Jeff from behind.
He whispers, "You kept me long enough. Will you marry me now?"
Jeff blushes. It's a dream world. Just a western book fantasy. It's still his first time he got a marriage proposal.
"Yes."
They got married and invited no one. Their marriage life only lasted one year.
His magic power kept growing stronger and affected the nature balance.
The land has withered. Jeff has become a living bane to environment.
The villagers come when Jeff isn't at home. They demanded Victor to slay his wife. Before he destroyed the world.
Victor chased them out.
The old village chief kneels down in front of him.
He begs, "If I knew, I would strangle him to death in his baby crib. You are the hero's descendant. You must kill him. He will bring world destruction to us all."
"What hero? I can't even protect the one I love. I'm just a loser. Now, leave!"
Jeff has overheard everything. He secretly leaves the spot. Leaving his hubby behind. He goes north. To wasteland where no one lives there.
The place of destruction.
His father, the demon King perished here. Nothing could grow in this evil tainted land. Not even grass.
Jeff lives his lonely life in solitary. His magic power grows stronger and goes rampant from time to time. He feels his bones are crushed and rebuilt. He got claws and fangs now.
Like villagers said, a true monster.
It takes a whole year before the hero found him. He looks different. No longer the sunny fellow. He looks older and gloomy.
Jeff prepares to be killed by him. It's the true ending written for this book world.
The hero killed the demon and won respect from the people.
They fight for few rounds.
In the end, his hubby doesn't dodge against his attack. Jeff's claws pierced through his chest.
"Why? You could kill me easily..." mourned Jeff.
"I can't even save my wifey... What hero..."
"No!"
When the hero died, Jeff self destructed himself. Their souls united again in the underworld. No one shall separate them now.
Jeff blinks his eyes when the book world ends. The story doesn't have that kind of ending.
Tears are falling from his eyes.
Jeff chuckles and wipes them away. It's just a tragic faerytale. Not real.
He looks around. This isn't his bedroom.
A nurse walks in. She smiles and checks on him.
Jeff asks, "Where am I?"
"You are found unconscious in your bed. Your friend brought you here."
Jeff curses in his heart. He forgot to tell Baozi about his dreams. He can't wake up if the book world hasn't ended.
He asks, "What date today?"
"21."
He slept almost a day. No wonder he's very hungry. He spent more than 20 years in the book world. That's around 23 hours in real life.
Jeff pleads, "I'm hungry. Could I get something to eat?"
"Of course. Let me inform the kitchen."
Jeff grumbles in his heart.
Getting into a hospital. Just great! Unnecessary expenditures.
He rubs his face when he remembered the book world. He kissed and slept with someone. It's just a dream. It's kinda vivid one.
I'm no virgin anymore! Wait... It's just a dream.
Jeff sighs.
System speaks in his mind, "Congrats for finishing the book world, Star crossed lovers."
"Reward: Alluring voice and show love flower."
Jeff asks in his mind, "Sound like a scam item. Are you sure it ain't dangerous."
"It might be handy for your date."
Jeff asks, "What date?"
"The book world won't be running for a while. You shall be assigned to go dating. Target has been locked."
"What if I refused? I can't go dating a stranger."
"He is your hubby from your last book world. You could only earn points by dating him."
Jeff remembered the cheerful person. Dating someone like that would be nice.
He nods his head. He could do this. He has to save Uncle.
"Okay. I'll do it. Send me his name and profile."
Jeff blushes when he thinks he has slept with the guy in dream world. They aren't even dating yet.
Well, he has no complaints. The guy is a stud in bed.
The system downloaded info to his mind as usual.
Jeff yells, "No! There must be a mistake! A big mistake! This guy isn't my hubby!"
Victor Qin pic is mocking him in his mind. The guy with face paralysis. He almost never smile.
How could this guy be my sunny boy? My beloved hubby in dream world? Not him!
A nurse comes in.
She scolds politely, "Sir, this is a hospital. Please be quiet. Thank you."
The nurse leaves after checking Jeff's condition again. The patient has slumped in bed. With face expression nothing to live for.
System says, "Get your points by finishing daily mission. Make him fall in love with you. That will earn huge bonus points."
"That's because it's impossible task. System, you cheated."
"System never go against rules. Unlike humans. You said you could do this."
Jeff is silent. He will do anything to save Aaron. Except this guy doesn't seem humane. He's more like a walking human android.
